The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Extremely disappointing. Ordered a takeaway admittedly at the busiest time but this should not in anyway detract from the quality of the meal. The beef was tough and tasteless. The same applies to the duck. Both of the main courses seemed to have been boiled in water hence the blandness of the food. Not cheap either!

Was quite nice but chicken was pink in the sweet and sour chicken balls so wouldn't get again..

In and out..service fine..food OK but not ordering the soft noodles anymore as there not that good but rest was fine

MY GORGEOUS FRIEND CARON WHISKED ME TO THIS QUAINT ORIENTAL RESTAURANT OPPOSITE KEW GARDENS STATION. YOU ARE GREETED BY HOSTESS SUPREME DEBBIE WHO GIVES THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. ITS THE BEST FOOD I’VE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME. KEW GARDENS ORIENTAL IS A HIDEN GEM, A FIVE STAR RESTAURANT. I CAN’T WAIT TO TRY THE SUNDAY NOODLES AND COME BACK TIME AND TIME AGAIN. Kept repeating details as was too focused on listening to people in the shop. Took far too long to order

I called because I was unhappy that there was no meat in the shredded beef, it was just coating. I was laughed at, shouted at, went on a rant about to me about how he’s been cooking since the 70s. I was nothing but polite and respectful so I didn’t deserve that at all. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Especially food was flavorless anyway.

Golden city was an Absolutely cracking Chinese. Not a single thing we ordered disappointed and the staff are friendly and welcoming I would highly recommend Golden city as i belive its the best in and around crawley.

The food was very good. We had the 3 roast with rice. The portions were generous and My husband said it was the best roast meats he'd had, even better than Chinatown in London. Prices were very reasonable. This is the second time we've eaten there. The first time the cutlery and the cups for tea felt a bit greasy, needed to sanitize them. It's the chinese equivalent of a greasy spoon cafe.

Fresh and tasty food, great service, it was ready to collect for the time we asked for.

Ordered first time today.Very friendly staff talking by phone when I made order.Food was very very tasty, definitely will order again . Highly recommended.
