Really disappointing takeaway cost £79 to feed 5 of us and slimy overly wet food eg special fried rice - missing a dish also - no care re presentation in boxes and included battered? fatty barbecue spare ribs - honestly awful ! Will not return - shame as previously had decent takey from there . Maybe chef issues but once bitten twice shy I’m afraid.

I can't comment on Atmosphere as it was a takeaway meal was delivered by their own delivery service. The delivery guy was very friendly and actually arrived about 15 minutes before expected, which was nice. To be honest it did seem a little expensive but once we had the food and saw the size and quality of the portions it was worth it. Everything tasted great and all cooked perfectly. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway I've had for years and very happy to recommend that people give them a try. They have quite an extensive menu so there should be something for everyone. (Definitely recommend the barbecue spare ribs, loads of meat on them, cooked so they are really tender in a lovely sauce!).

Bit underwhelming. Make better myself tbh. Was hot which I'd expect regardless but both meals seemed lacking in flavour like they'd been watered down too much. Cost cutting at the expense of what was by all accounts a good takeaway. Welcome to 2025

Went into the restaurant for a take-away. As I stood at the counter waiting for my order to be taken I was surprised to see a man behind the bar eating what appeared to be a chicken leg and a young boy eating a burger. Got home and the food was dire. Had ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style together with Crispy Duck, Egg Fried Rice and a Sweet & Sour Sauce. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was inedible and we had no option but to throw it all in the bin. There was virtually no sauce and the chicken was so overcooked that it was impossible to cut with a knife. The Crispy Duck was really salty and the Sweet & Sour Sauce was grainy and watery with a very strange colour.

We went to the Jolly Farmer for a family birthday dinner on a Sunday. There was only chicken roast left so we ordered a variety of dishes and they were all really good. We would definitely go back.

Really good food and service. Just a little on the expensive side. Decent portions full of flavour. And the house hot sauce was awesome.

We had house special stewed noodle and biang biang noodle. They were nice, but the soup of stewed noodle was bit too salty. They were good portion for the price, but there were only few little slices of meat in the soup. Only a few seats available at the place, most ppl do takeaway. Service was ok.

Had to wait over an hour and a half for my order and then they blamed the drivers. Will not be using them again.

Ordered some takeaway last week. The salt and pepper squid was rubbery and the beef had some spots on it (Sign of very low quality beef). Bits of veg (Like leftover) thrown in the beef dish. The location and interior of the restaurant isn't too bad and the waiting staff were well dressed, but significantly let down by the food. Not sure how this restaurant can be rated 4.4 on Google

Very quick to order and large portions. The duck pancakes, sesame toast & chow mein were pretty good. Unfortunately the other dishes left a lot to be desired. Chicken a bit overcooked and we couldn’t distinguish between some of the dishes. Far too many large pieces of pepper. The hot sauce dish was strange. On holiday so will not be eating from this takeaway again.

Food was amazing, especially the BBQ ribs. Staff really friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend.

Booked up for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday, a lovely well run pub. We started with soup and prawn cocktail, we both had roast beef which came with nearly every veg God made, all cooked perfect, lovely beef as well, roasties were perfect, my wife had cauliflower cheese which i dont like but she said it was outstanding. The service was outstanding, all the young people serving were so helpful and polite, must single out the ginger headed boy ( you know who you are) it was his 2nd shift and i would give him 5 stars just for entertainment. Must mention the lady in charge, i like different beer glasses and asked the young lad if i could have one and the lady brought out a brand new one for me, great customer service, i must add i put a donation in the charity box. Great food, great service, that`s what it`s all about.

We went for a family birthday dinner. The food was excellent & the service was fantastic. We had a lot of laughs with the staff and they couldn't do enough for us. Thanks so much guys and I'm sure you'll see us again ☺️
