The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Great lunch venue. As always, staff were friendly and efficient. The large portions of super-fresh, tasty food at reasonable prices more than make up for the unpretentious surroundings. Letting the food and service be the priority works for me and makes it worth fitting in a visit when in the area. Make sure you arrive with an appetite and open mind, and you won't be disappointed. You can also buy you own Asian ingredients next door.

Absolute gem of a place , we went last night , we got there just before closing and they still sat us , ordered set meal for 2 ,, best prawn toast Iv ever had and the portions were really big , they packed up what was left for me , highly recommend to anyone , x

Never again! Very ordinary cooking given the location. I wouldn't recommend food served here to anyone. My son said the only thing that tasted good was the Appletiser, and for me it was the beer!

We ate here on a Friday lunchtime, we ate off of the eat as much menu. We orderd ribs, prawns, satay, and spring rolls, followed by soup and duck, the duck was very tasty and a nice portion. We then had lemon chicken crispy chilli beef and prawns with cashew nuts. All tasty and served by a very friendly waitress, lots of free parking

Very busy place top draw excellent

Stopped here on a Saturday evening for a bite to eat. Very friendly welcome and had a lovely table overlooking the main street. Food was very good very tasty and good sized portions. Staff are very friendly and has a nice atmosphere

Still trying to figure out how 2 mains £12.95 and 10.95. 2 rice orders . 2 soft drinks, prawn crackers (we didn't ask for) 1/4 duck appetizer, two desserts and two coffees totaled over £90? To pricey for what you get. £90+ for 2? Btw the stir fry beef with garlic and chili sauce was way too spicy in spots. The coffee we ordered with desert came way after we finished desert and my cappuccino was like water.

You have to ring and book. We went on a Saturday and it was busy. But I must say everyone was extremely efficient. Also very pleasant and polite. We went to the griffin opposite for drinks. Recommend choosing tiger beer here also. My hubby got calling and it wasn’t great but tiger beer was good. Will definitely be returning. Every time we drive past the car park is full.

I've been coming here for years, and the service and food never disappoint. Very tasty food and kid friendly. Highly recommend Note, some days are very busy and you may need to book in advance
