Been coming here for years, the food is great and menu has plenty of Indo Chinese dishes. Chilli mushrooms are a must try as is the veg fried rice!

Staff was rude no smile and food was not cooked properly and especially found manager old guy v rude will never visit again. Food is not good

Fantastic food and staff are so friendly

Food is lovely however they are small portions so may not necessarily fill you up. The seating arrangement isn't great as it's a very small restaurant expect to be sitting near people you don't know. Service could be better they always tend to forget your soft drink.

This is my go to place when I fancy a Chinese takeout. I ordered for my birthday and since the my whole family that night and following week have had severe food poisoning and vomiting. One member even had to go hospital. Still have not recovered since ordering 5/09.

The service was very fast. The food came within 5mins We ordered sweet and sour soup, crispy chicken chilli, Manchurian chicken chowmein,egg fried rice and chicken kung Pao, each and every dish was delicious Indo-chinese flavour. Loved it ... Will visit again

Horrible experience dining in at this restaurant. The food is EXTREMELY salty, the quantity very less, the gravy is the same in every dish and the price is not at all justified. ZERO value for money and ZERO ambience. You can tell they only care about making money and not delighting customers. The restaurant is dirty and very dated. They have no coolers/fans/AC's and it's boiling hot inside. The staff is only there to roll as many tables as they can, so that the owner can make BIG FAT money. When you order takeaway he tells you very blatantly if you pay by cash I will give you more quantity. Of course, saves him tax. Why not work on offering decent quantity in the first place when a customer comes in to dine in? Why not spend some money from the millions you earn to improve your decor and install some a/c's? How much money are you after, what you've earned isn't enough?

My ultimate favourite indo Chinese food restaurant!! Epic food every single time! Tasty, delicious full of flavours! I am obsessed and leave with a food coma every time! I am so lucky I live down the road as it's a regular visit at least each month. Chilli paneer and crispy aubergine are my favs!

Just give 3 star becz of no air condition or fan facilities available in summer/Hot weather. If u planning to go in hot weather take ur own portable fan with you. Food very delicious also quick service.

A family owned place and there's only one! Indo Chinese food and the tastiest dishes! I highly recommend if you enjoy spice and Chinese dishes. It is outdated interior but it's stayed this way since it opened

The crispy shredded chilli beef is best I’ve had for a Chinese. The Singapore rice and curry sauce is really good as well.

We have been going to this restaurant for several years now. The food is generally good an service ok. However, recently we have seen that the overall service and atmosphere has become very rushed and lack any cosy feeling. You get the feeling as if they just want you to eat and leave asap. We used to go only for mainly the Crisply Chilli Beef / Chicken and Mongolian Sizzler Beef / Chicken. All other dishes are just average. The service is quick but very rushed. Due to these reasons we have stopped going there for some time.

Consistent, wouldn't go to any other place for Chinese 10/10 food service all round

Decided to try this place based on positive reviews. Ordered the following popular items; Hot and sour soup Manchurian chicken chow mein Crispy chilli chicken Egg fried rice The soup was lovely but the chow mein noodles lacked flavour which was disappointing. Crispy chilli chicken was nice but a bit too sweet for our liking. We thought we had finally found a halal chinese restaurant but sadly we didn't enoy it as much as we anticipated. However The staff were lovely, service was great - so I do hope to return to try other items from the menu.

This is a really good local Chinese Takeaway spot, Garlic Chilli Broccoli is FIRE, vegetarian options are great too.

Food was expensive, taste was not great. 1 fried rice cost us £11.50. Overall i was unimpressed. Expected much more from them. I dont think i will be eating from them again

I went with family for dinner. Food was delicious. It had just right spices, not too over powering. Everyone really enjoyed the food. The restaurant can do with upgrade of decor, however food is top notch. I will visit again.

When you walk in this is the quintessential Chinese restaurant from an era past, but the food and the service next to non! Absolutely brilliant! Some of the best food I've ever had don't go off the look, the food is brilliant. And everywhere was clean. And all halal, would recommend anyone to visit and would definitely go again.

Tried their food for takeaway. By far one of the best Chinese restaurants. Tried Manchurian Chicken, Crispy Chilli Beef (which I guess would have been much better if I had it in the restaurant rather take away) Special Fried Rice, Egg fried rice and Hot and sour soup. Authentic Chinese with an Indian Pakistani palate. Top notch noodles spice ratio gravy and dry they got it on lock. Beef prawns chicken yes sir. Well played. They understood the demographic and delivered beautifully. Price per head is also cheaper than the local Thai places. They a family run business that have got it right. The place is always busy.

The food is simply amazing, however a day or two after, I need to spend some time in the bathroom, I get the Delhi belly, lol! I don’t know what it is! The same goes for my boyfriend, and it’s not the spiciness as it’s quite mild and I never had an issue like this before that was so consistent with eating at a particular restaurant.

I recently dined at a gem of a halal Chinese restaurant, where I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. The service was excellent, although parking was a bit tight, there were spots available on the nearby streets. Overall, it was a delightful experience worth revisiting.

Best Chinese/indo food I have ever had. Been here so many times over the years and always had a good experience. This restaurant is no frills. Very basic decor, paper table covers and basic cutlery and chinaware but the food is 10/10. All prepared fresh and sizzling from the kitchen. All made to your own spice level.

The BEST Indo-Chinese food ever! We come here regularly and often need a fix of Yen Lin. Dont let the basic interior fool you :) Our standard order is: Manchurian vegetarian chow mein,, Manchurian vegetarian fried rice both garlicky and super tasty. Chilli broccoli is insane as is the chilli garlic mogo, perfect combination of crispy and soft texture. Szechuan aubergine is crispy skin and soft on the inside. Tofu or paneer are both tasty too. The food can be ordered mild or spicy - the latter can have a kick to it! Pre-book because it can get very busy. And the food comes out fast and as and when it is ready!

Forget all this fusion nonsense about being authentic Hakka cuisine. The food is quite bland and on the lower end of tasty Chinese fayre.

This was my 1st time to this place as well as to this country. One of my church friend suggested this place and it's was also my son's birthday The food was great and if you tell them it's some special occasion they will play music and they gave my son a small cake to cut and enjoy his birthday.

Had a wonderful time at this Halal Chinese restaurant. It was my first time and we were not disappointed at all. Food was great, better then most Chinese I had over the last few years, and the atmosphere was good as well. Grils were great with the service, were very agile, quick to take the empty plates away and polite and helpful at the same time. I think the girl named Hong at the reception was their team lead and was managing it all very well. She was fast and very responsive and looked very experienced in dealing with a busy restaurant. Overall a great team effort backed up by great food. Highly recommended!

If you love good food, this is a must go place. It is exceptional as I have not eaten in any other that is comparable. Genuine fusion of Indian and Chinese. We have been going here 20+years and cannot remember a bad evening out. A little heavy on the oil sometimes but thats about it. Down to earth simple place with food that you could spend 4-5 times as much in central London. Book in advance.

Take away menu is not updated in the website. Card payment is accepted for orders over £15.00 only. I had to wait out until the food is prepared 😩. Horrible feeling 😫.

We decided to try this restaurant out and I’m so glad we did! The staff were very attentive. The food arrived promptly and tasted delicious. Price are very reasonable. We will be definitely be coming back to try other dishes.

A very unconventional Chinese food establishment. Loads of vegetables in the hot and sour soup and the meat dishes. Average food. Decor really dated but a notice said they are going to close for refurbishment. A very friendly and prompt service though 🙂

Wow, what a fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing, and indo Chinese food made to satisfy, I didn't realise they could mix two food types and come up with this! It's always busy, I'm told, and I understand why, I just enjoyed the evening here. Had a most tasty chicken soup and special fried rice without beef for me and many tasty starters. You have to try it. Staff were busy but attentative and friendly. You can go for a nice walk after in the area, it felt like I was on holiday.

Was told about this place a few years ago, was in the area so thought I would check out the hype. Entered the restaurant felt as if I was attending a wedding from the 80s with the decor. I didn’t care about this as long as the food was good. Was told they only had a table for the next 30-40 minutes as they was fully booked- very strange as 80% of the tables were empty. Food arrived very quick. The food was nothing special, I expected better from what I was told. The chicken Spring roll was extremely oily and had a fishy taste, when you open with a knife, you get the oil pouring out from the pastry. Chow Mein was bland, not much taste, had to keep adding the chilli and Soya sauce on the table to make it taste better. Black bean chicken was decent hence why I gave the food a 2/5. Service was just extremely terrible, I had read previous reviews about this and thought it can’t be that bad but wow it’s extremely bad. Here is why: 1. Told by staff only 30-40 minutes to eat which I agreed to as me and friend are quick eaters- very strange as restaurant was 80% empty at the time. By the time we left it was around 70% empty. 2. Whilst eating our food, was told by the manager to stand up so they could rearrange the tables so they could squeeze in a few others customers on our table. 3. 25 mins into eating our food, manager came with the Bill and credit card machine to our table. This was really annoying as mentioned before the restaurant at this time was 70% empty and were told there there were 2 people waiting to take seats. 4. Staff and manager are completely rude, no manners and have no customer service skills. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

the exterior and general decor of this restaurant may put a certain demographic off - those who are used to frills such as flower walls and dry ice will not be pleased with the dated hole-in-the-wall style of yen lin. however as far as the food goes, it has to be the most authentic tasting chinese restaurant in the area. it has a well deserved respect from locals so i thought i would try it out myself and i was not disappointed. overall the food was great, you could taste the strong oriental flavours in each dish. the crispy chili chicken and garlic squid were standouts for me, strongly recommend those. i was served promptly by the friendly waiters and can’t complain with the service. and although the carpet looked like it could do with a revamp, cleanliness was not an issue either. seems like the perfect spot for families and those looking for a quick bite. i left my house and went there, ate, and drove back within the hour.

We regularly order from here. Manchow soup is our standard starter followed by rice/noodles and a vast variety of chicken or beef options. Ordering via the phone is straightforward and food is ready quite quickly. Always check payment options to avoid confusion. Always friendly, always enjoying their food.

We visited this restaurant for a family member's 30th birthday party with 16 people attending. The food was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was acceptable for a very local place. The price was competitive and all enjoyed the visit.

The food is great Must admit portion sizes are very small I didn’t like the service my mains came before starters and I felt like they were hanging over me every time a plate was empty they would scuttle over and get it , which was disturbing . I won’t say i won’t go again but I will definitely let them know I don’t like their style and May order part at a time or staters first once received I’ll order mains ! The last thing to arrive were my spring rolls !! Why who has these last . Also they were my least fav too big ! And greasy !

The food here is amazing- got quite a few things to try out and I must say the Mongolian beef was sublime. The waiting staff were quite rude and started lingering over us to get us to finish and go but that’s excusable as they did warn us that it would get busy soon and we didn’t book a table so had limited time. Overall, the food was immense, just poor customer service which can be forgiven

Lovely restaurant. This is not your typical Chinese, which tends to be on the blend side. This is the kind of Chinese that you will find in India; definitely caters for Indian pallet. Made by Chinese people so had that authentic touch. Customer services is good, food came quick and tasty. Nice decor, definitely good for family atmosphere and kids.

Absolutely disgusted with this place. I don’t understand how it has such amazing reviews. We went here as a family after we saw a video review of how amazing the food looked. Unfortunately it was all just for show, it was the most basic Chinese food we have ever had. There was literally no chicken in the chicken chow mein almost as if we had been given left overs. The only decent thing they had was the chicken satay. Let’s talk about their customer service….there was none. The waitresses were super aggressive even with the way they took our order, almost as if they didn’t want us there. The general vibe was very unwelcoming. Food came one by one…by the time the majority of food came the first dish that came was cold, like how are you running a restaurant like this? In all honesty what annoyed us the most was that the takeaway orders were flying out, many takeaway orders were made after us (huge orders) but they received their food before us, we waited over 45 minutes to get served, it got so bad that we asked the waitress to give us some crackers as we were starving.

It is a great place for enjoying indo Chinese food. Always bit crowded so best is to reserve a place before going. Not very costly potions are also good. Family run business, very polite people.

Always delivers on quality and value isn’t bad. Make sure you choose the right dishes. The Manchurian beef is very good. The garlic chilli prawns are a hit and the sezchuan chicken was a delight. Plus you have to tried the Manchurian aubergines, dry dish but very tasty and the compulsory paneer, not my favourite, but a popular one for friends and family. I’ve eaten in and had takeaway. It’s a small family owned place. Quaint. Food is good. Why not 5 stars. You have to ask for extra prawn crackers even when you spend £100+. They don’t give the chilli sauce unless you ask. They don’t deliver so it’s a 20 minute drive there for me to collect. However still worth it.

Travelled from South London as there isn’t any Halal Chinese eat in spots. Overall great food and wasn’t not disappointed, loved that it was nothing fancy. Food was quick and fresh. Menu is halal and has many options.

Very rude service, today I came with my family to eat, the restaurant was empty that time . First thing out of the rude professional's mouth, do you have an appointment? I asked if I needed an appointment, she told me she just asked. And I did the same because I was thinking I need to book. I have be there never they ask me for that . Maybe it was misunderstood. I ignored it and went to eat… I ordered the food and the professional came with an arrogant way of asking what I wanted, and again rude way 3 time ask me for the order I give to them. we felt very mistreated, those professionals spent their time talking in chinese; looking at us and when I ask if who is the manager one of them answers me… and they started laughing, they didn't even come to ask why I asked…. It's a shame that a good restaurant with good food has such poor service. My daughters and I were sad that they had spoiled our family day. I was going to ask because we wanted to eat more, but unfortunately we decided not to order more… Also, I felt racism on their part, because I saw that they treated other clients very well…. This is not the first time this has happened and it was a disappointment for the restaurant but I won't be back…

Nice family friendly restaurant. Very simple decor but flavourful food and reasonable prices. The crispy chilli chicken was my favourite thing on the menu. Amazing as a starter. Prawn toast also a nice starter (quite oily so wouldn’t have too many) Chow mein was very tasty and had a slight smokey flavour. The only thing that wasn’t great was the sizzling beef - odd flavour. Would visit again. Busy on a Saturday evening - call ahead and reserve a table.

I've been going here for years. Amazing indo Chinese food, love the variety of food. They also cater to dietary requirements. Just note, for vegetarians and vegan, there is no mock meat. But still have a good variety of veg food options

Nice food but horrible staff. The minute you walk in they shove a menu up your face and expect you to order in the next few seconds. Plus when you do choose a dish they are very rude to try to persuade you to either order alot more or the most expensive items on the menu. Not a place I will be returning to I'm afraid.

I can here on occasions. Really good food! Customer service always on point. Can get a little pricey depending on what you order but I love the atmosphere there.

Food is always lovely tastey, service is good only one down fall ventilation, don't put aircon on so you come out smelling like the food.

Loved the food, been here in 2019 and it didn't disappoint and again in Jan 2022, still great food! Be back again in August 2022. Back again for new years dinner and even though there are new owners the food is still delicious! See you again next year!
