Not the best but not the worst either. Ordered the special fried rice with pineapple for £6 to takeaway. Food was made quick ready in under 5 minutes on a Friday 8pm. It was tasty, I can see what others say about the neat being bland, but chicken breast is bland. The balance of the overall flavour was good. No peas which got 1 star deducted. I like to think I'm eating healthy.

good food but please stop changing the vegetarian szchezuan chicken meal. i ordered it yesterday and it didn’t taste szcheuan like it normally does, it tasted sweet and sour. also for the first time the salt and pepper bean curd was very salty. please keep the szcheuan meal the way it is and reduce the salt of the bean curd

Today the food was terrible , had to bin it. It was cold and didn’t look freshly made. Will not be using them again

The best Chinese takeaway in the area by a country mile. The only annoying thing is that the excellent veggie chicken balls are not listed online. Please fix this. Thanks :)

Bought Singapore rice noodles with mixed meat. Got funky shredded chicken and few shrimps. Certurnky not mixed meat. Was expecting pork beef and chicken, what a disappointment. Never again

Was very disappointed with the special fried rice it had very little mixed meats or chicken in it & no prawns. Also it came in a small contaiiner not a large one as it is supposed too

Food was rather late, but the restaurant and driver could not have been more apologetic. Very nice staff! The food was fresh, hot and extremely tasty. Only thing is the Pad Thai was missing the peanuts 😭

Been using Top Wok for years however this time and our previous order Chow mein was dry, curry sauce had a weird tang to it which meant we couldn’t eat the chow mein, also had some chips which weren’t all cooked properly. Quite disappointed as I am very fussy with noodles and Top Wok is the only one locally that I have liked for years.

Lady owner is always so happy and nice, always go here at work for a break or dinner, never had an negative review going there. People have issues with just eat etc. Well get up and go get your food yourself then, will be back

Egg fried rice was stale. The meat dishes were OK not great but portions small for the price

I don’t want to give a bad review to the restaurant the food is proper will use this again but just eat hire some really ignorant drivers, the food was virtually thrown at me and he knocked the wheelie bin over on the way in and refused point blank to pick it up on the way out saying “it’s your bin your problem” customer service at its worst.

Their delivery service is very prompt and lots of options on the menu as you'd expect. The satay sauce the veggie satay comes in is probably the highlight.All items are done pretty well but the post Chinese meal feeling of dread still exists. Better than the mandarin on Gants hill roundabout

Sauce was cracked and spilt EVERYWHERE even the food was covered in it the delivery was VERY POOR however food did look nice I guess my mum couldn’t eat any of it as she hates the sweet and sour sauce so yeah out of 10 it gets a 3

Awful. Food arrived covered in the sauces that had spilled in the bag. It was all over everything and had got in the boxes of food. No sauce left for the food. Phoned the restaurant who couldn’t be less interested. She really did not care. I had to wash the food which made it cold and throw some out. Was quite expensive just to be sent food covered in a mixture of bbq, plum and sweet and sour sauces. Never ever ordering from here again. I get that these things happen in transit but please try and help when I phone you. No need to be so unhelpful/uninterested.

Food was very nice. Main portion a bit on the small size but would order again with something else as well.

The quality of the food has deteriorated since our last order. Both main dishes were overly sweet and tasted nothing like how a dish with black bean sauce should do.

The menu is reasonably priced if you ring up or walk in directly (don’t use external takeaway food apps). Service is friendly and arrived so promptly which makes a nice change to other takeaways I’ve experienced in the area. Food is definitely above average but it’s not the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in the area. Some of the food was a bit vinegary or soft when meant to be crispy or crunchy. Would recommend the Lamb with Mushrooms, was sensational! Would order from here again.

Food came cold and there was no chicken fried rice there was normal rice and the ribs came with bbq i asked for dry i would like a refund

The delivery was great they didn't take long. The food had to much salt but other wise it would had been great. I think the cook need training and they may do a good job. For me I will gave 5 star for delivery and 4 star. For the Food

Lovely lovely food! We’ve been using TopWok since they opened and I tell you they are the quickest home delivery takeaway service I’ve ever tried and you can order direct, not none of this Uber eats adding on £6 etc rubbish! Lovely people, never need to go anywhere else, AND they never get it wrong! Cheers guys 👍👍👍😊

Cold flavourless food Egg fried rice consisting of plain boiled rice with a few specks of egg. This establishment should be ashamed of itself.

In all honesty I’m in shock Being a regular customer here always ordering for myself and the family but the food had a massive hair in it and a lot of salt in 3/5 dishes to the point it got sickening and was inedible Ate as much as, as we were hungry and didn’t make food to order from this restaurant. I called to tell the restaurant the issue and I asked for a refund because of the hair and this is a health and safety issue and in general the food was just very very very salty, the first worker said that’s fine a driver will be with you shortly with a refund for the food The driver arrived and said we need the food back in order to give you a refund. I said unfortunately we threw it away and we weren’t told to give the food to process the refund I had to call the restaurant back again to ask them regarding this information and the second worker answered saying yeah we need the food back my colleague told you. I said I promise you, your colleague did not tell me to give the food back for the refund It was practically inedible and your food had hair in it She then responded saying we won’t be taking your order again ever, you think £40’worth of takeaway will make me rich? I responded in a rude manner considering I was being spoken to the same but I was simply shocked at the service from this place as we have been customers for over 3 years! The food is always amazing and I understand sometimes it can go wrong, considering it was very salty initially I let it be because I understand sometimes these things happen but then seeing a whole hair in my food is a different ball game and considering I was very calm and collected when I spoke to the worker I was simply disgusted with the way I was spoken to Never coming back here again, you’ve lost a loyal customer!

I hate to leave a negative review but feel i need too in this instance. We ordered food from this restaurant On Sat 17th Dec 22, to be delivered by Just Eat. First time of ordering from Top Wok. We did NOT receive our order, and when we phoned them to ask where our order is they did not want to know and their attitude was take it up with Just Eat! They were adamant the food had been delivered to us but couldn't describe our colour door or what was in front of our house to prove it had been delivered.The worse thing of all they made us feel as if we were lying. Yes we raised our voice to them over the phone because of their lack of understanding with a careless attitude after us spending nearly £40. Will not be ordering from this shop again, please be careful for future reference.

Food was cold when I got it which was surprising , but wasn't the greatest, I think the oil they fry the duck and use for the food in needs to be changed as that is why I think the duck tasted old and dry, and noodles were very oily.

Our order really hit the spot. It was a slightly unconventional combination (King Prawn Pad Thai - with Sweet and Sour Chicken, Hong Kong style) but after a tedious drive home in the ice and snow, it proved to be the perfect comfort food!

Always use Top Wok when we want Chinese, however was disappointed with the chips as they were undercooked and the chicken balls were over cooked.

Ordered the food about an hour ago and received it an hour late. Miscommunication between the driver and restaurant who were saying they called each other but different stories and the food was cold. Will not be ordering again.

Most of the food was decent, but the fried rice (esp the rice) was undercooked and almost stale. quite disappointing as it was also tasteless

Pros: shredded chilli chicken and the salt and pepper prawns were good (even though it aas supposed to be chicken). Singapore noods were okay too. Cons: Hot and sour soup had a weird taste and was pretty much inedible and the special fried rice was pretty bland.
