Great service we ate here as a couple, drinks were good and food wise I'd defintely recommend the Lamb Karahi

Visited here for iftar with my friend! Ankita was great, she was sweet and even got us dates. Food was mid, but writing this review cause really liked Ankita’s nature! :)

Food is ok, quite pricey for what they serve but it's ok.

Came here for Iftar which probably isn’t a wise choice on our part as it is very much a lounge. Loud music in the background and alcohol is served. However the staff were extremely welcoming and gave us dates and water. The service was great no complaints at all. The food is pretty average Indian food. There’s free parking out front too.

Dont expect the food to be cooked to order or even refreshed to order. It's all pre cooked and warmed up and sent out. Very small portions. Stll their making money. That's all.

Was expecting to sit in the lounge but was sat in the so called restaurant terrible smell of damp mould. Food was good but a let down as we wanted to sit in the lounge and there’s no notice about the lounge not being open on other days anywhere else.

Today we visit the restaurant and experience is so good there starters are very good we try samosa , veg plater the test was so good than we try some main dishes like paneer bhurji , nan etc the test was so good and service is very good as well there one lady name Priya she help with the offer different type of food and she give quick response what we need and my all friends happy and also lastly other staff gives good service as well i personally recommend please try !

What an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service from Priya was exceptional. A big thank you to the chefs for preparing each dish exactly as I wanted—it was cooked to perfection with a perfect balance of flavors. Well, the food was amazing everything and we tried a lot of food, all If i owned a restaurant I would try to get the Central staff to come work for me , happy smiling funny, beautiful all words I would use. Atmosphere I was there on a Thursday and it was perfect. Can not wait to return going a bed now a very happy person.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here yesterday with my partner. The food was phenomenal; wonderful flavours and the portion sizes were great. Great service, very friendly and attentive staff. Very accommodating to my vegan requests. Only reason I have not given 5 stars is because of the musty smell when entering the restaurant. To be fair, I came not long after the restaurant opened so they had probably been cleaning prior, however it was very strong and slightly off putting, but as they started to prepare more food, the delicious aromas overtook it. Maybe something to freshen the smell after cleaning and before opening might help? Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed! Will definitely go again.

First time visit as I love in North London but was very impressed with the food quality and service (especially Ankita).

I went there for my 19th birthday with my family, and the staffs were so nice especially Gaurang he kept coming to check up on us and asking if we needed anything which we really appreciated. And there are so many nice places for people to take pictures I took load of pictures. The foods and drinks as well were so nice like we really enjoyed it. Thanks central restaurant

We had an amazing experience at Central Shisha Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our waiters, Naz and Kmilit, provided exceptional service, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. To top it off, the DJ played a great set, adding to the lively vibe. Highly recommend

Just had the most amazing time at the central lounge. Amazing food, drinks and shisha. The atmosphere is incredible with a DJ banging out the tunes. The service; the best. The food was good, but the service was even better, thanks to Ankita, who was very polite, welcoming and courteous. made our evening that little bit better.

We had a party here for my son’s 21st birthday. Everything was brilliant. Including the staff. The manager is extremely professional and looked after us well. They catered for 45 of us. And every dis was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended and will be hosting a lot more of our special occasions here in the near future.

Recently, I visited the restaurant the food was good, everything was nice the problem was with the staff members. Ordered dessert and ask Priya to find out, how long the dessert is going to take to come. I tried to draw priya attention three times but she was more busy talking with the bartender guy. This is the 4th different occasions I visited the restaurant and every time rasmalai is not available. I got my dessert after 20 minutes, one guy bring it to the table. How come a cheese cake can take 20 minutes to serve. I never get desserts on time, it always take 20/30 minutes.

Very good food. Totally recommend to visit. Staff is amazing especially Ankita is very social n gives very good service. With her sweet smile n good service she gives wvery customer; We always look to have her in there.

Rubbish customer service skills and no consideration for their customers. Can't be asked to list all the issues. No point as they probably don't give a crap and won't do anything about it anyway. Used to come here when it was the Ashgrove all the time. Since it became Central, it's gone downhill in many ways. Won't be back again.

I wish I could give it 0 stars.The fake “manager” (he claimed he was the manager when he was not ) of the lounge was so rude & disrespectful.Before we set down we asked if we can sit in the lounge and order food without shisha as the place was a literally empty.The manager at the front door said we can & told us to take a seat .As we started ordering the fake manager came in and asked as to leave because we didn’t want to order shisha.Like this is absolutely ridiculous ,the whole lounge was empty & if it was about policy why didn’t they tell us before we sat down.In my personal opinion is very disrespectful to tell someone to leave after they have been told they could sit there.Not only this he’s words were very unprofessional.Food was mid overall not a great place if you want to chill & have a good time.Very stuck up workers.

One of the best Indian food in the London. The menu has great variety in vegetarian section. Our server Ankita was fabulous. She was friendly, courteous and served us with a lovely smile which made the experience even better.

Restaurant is an old pub, which was rather unexpected. There was a TV on right next to us showing highlights of events in the lounge. It wasn’t really appropriate for small kids as the women shown were doing a burlesque type dance. Food was hit and miss. We had the lamb Karahi, which was amazing, the lamb was cooked to a melt in the mouth consistency. The chilli chicken starter was like cardboard it was over sweet and hard to bite into, very overcooked and not nice. The Manchurian chicken was very peppery and not nice either. We also had pani puri, which was beautifully presented but utterly bland. Hugely disappointed by this as it was the one dish we were really looking forward to. The Dahl Makhni was fair. The rice and naans were nice enough as well. They do serve amazing mocktails I’ll give them that. Was a very disappointing experience, won’t be retuning.

She force me to give nice reviews and specially to take her name she continue looking in my phone that i give the review or not what kind of behavior this

Luckily I have found my Indian. Being bangali myself I can’t find any Indian who’s up to scratch but now I’ve found it. Their chef is excellent. Nice flavours and fantastic food

I recently visited Central with my friend Nick, and we had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with rich flavors that truly represented authentic Indian cuisine. The staff (JY) was very welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I highly recommend the Chips with chicken and melted cheese, Lamp Curry with Rice and Garlic Nan. Central is definitely a place I’ll visit again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Fabulous visit to Central lounge! Had booked for a large family gathering and Ankita from start to finish and she was brilliant. Since we had little kids dining with us, she went over and beyond. Ankita regularly made visits to us making sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything she can get. Food was delicious and whilst this was our first visit we were very impressed! Thank you Ankita for making our visit pleasant and we will be back again!

We recently hosted our work Christmas party at Central Lounge, from start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wonderful variety that pleased everyone’s tastes and catered to all dietary preferences. The manager Gaurav was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, making the night stress-free and enjoyable. The decor was also lovely, adding a festive and welcoming atmosphere to the evening. Central Lounge exceeded all expectations, It was the perfect venue for our celebration and I highly recommend it for any occasion.

Absolutely diabolical Went for dinner, was told we were being too loud, 10 ladies chatting and laughing I don't know what you expect We were moved to the lounge which was not a problem but our drinks got mixed up so someone who doesn't drink alcohol ended up with alcohol even though we were told they were sorting this our and had everything under control. Then we were told we wasn't to dance even though there was music. Food was cold so.we didn't enjoy our mains at all. The waitress was too busy at the front talking to her male friends and paying no attention to customers. We left a lot earlier than we would have, and a birthday was ruined because of the slap dash attitude.

We had a great time at the central lounge the food and service were excellent. Priya our waitress was attentive and so polite. Regularly checking if we needed anything and answering all our questions about the menu. Priya gave us a smoky dry ice experience it was great fun. The ambiance was good but the restaurant was a little cold. Definitely recommend and will be back.

We came to central on 3rd Nov Sunday with my friends and family. The food was good, the environment was nice but the service by Priya was so awful. Way of talking, grooming and service was soooo poor. Not happy at all.

Food was great as always! Really enjoyed the karahi lamb and halwa and ice cream topped it off at the end! Food took a little long but it was busy, Diwali weekend, so understandable. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Will be back!
