The staff were absolutely unaware of how to handle allergies at the counter, even allowing a girl under 15, likely working there because it is a family business, to serve customers. Unfortunately, despite mentioning the allergy several times, the plate still contained the allergen!

Amazing local Chinese take away. Service is friendly and efficient and good is consistently good. The ribs in particular are amazing.

Ordered a takeaway today very disappointed with the Sweet & Sour Pork HK style. The pieces of pork had a huge amounts of fat in and was disgusting to bite into. Phoned up the store who didn’t offer to replace and just said thanks for letting us know and we are closing. I was atleast expecting them take some money off the next time. But they just put the phone down!!! Terrible service and rude staff!!!

Dont go no where else as a vegetarian they do a nice selection but will adjust..food is lovely

They've got it right. Great tasting food at great value and great speed of service. The taste has vastly improved with the new owners, it was great before and even better now. No matter what's on the menu, even a portion of curry sauce is delicious

Bought £76 worth of takeaway Saturday lunch time but i don’t mind paying OTT if food nice. Most of it was disgusting. The so called salt and chilli ribs were coated in a batter with No taste whatsoever. They were grey?? Pacific prawns No taste large pancake rolls no meat inside just bean sprouts No taste. soup was passable. Pork dumplings No taste. Beef curry and rice passable ( just) avoid this place

Probably the best Chinese we have ever had. Everything was perfect. Taste was amazing, delivered on time and no complaints from anyone.

Old School chinese food only does takeaways, prompt order taking and delivery. The food is excellent not oily - I highly recommend for those evenings you are not in the mood for cooking or going out!

I did a quick search on maps and found this place and loved it. The staff were nice and friendly and had no problems adjusting the ingredients in my dishes. The food came out very quickly and it was delicious. Every dish was excellent and I would definitely recommend it 💯

Gluten Free options were incredible and very delicious. A little gem of a find. Will 100% return in the future.

Would have given more stars but their customer service is shocking. Rang to say the food was all cold (have ordered from here before and never had a problem) and they said they will ‘investigate’ and that’s all they can do. They said they weren’t busy either! so what excuse is there when we are maximum a 2minute drive away?? Won’t be returning unfortunately used to be very tasty and worth the higher prices but not any more if this is how they treat loyal customers!

Good food at a reasonable price

This is one of the best Chinese and Thai takeaways that I've used. The food has always been top quality and delicious. The staff were very helpful in suggesting vegan alternatives for my daughter too.

Delicious! Best Chinese takeout in the area. Shame they do not do fried dumplings with different fillings just the pork but everything we ordered was fab, full of flavour and hot and fresh. I'll definitely be back.

Ordered for Fathers Day, everyone loved the food. Been ordering from this takeaway all my life and never disappoints. Best Chinese in the area. Highly recommend!

Since the person who takes the orders has changed this place has gone downhill. I'm so deeply upset, I have been vegan for 33 years and yesterday after ordering they have given me real meat rather than mock meat. Never trust this place again. My grandparents also ate here and it ruined the birthday party we were at as everyone was upset.

Haven't eaten from here in a decade, was passing and thought we'd try again. Honestly we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend, anyone try something from their extensive menu. The prawn toast was perfectly prepared. Definitely be visiting again, one downside, I live .2 of a mile outside their 3 mile delivery limit. Stating traffic as the reason why they refuse to deliver.

Some tasted over cooked, one dish wasn’t what was ordered and some felt a very small portion. It is a real shame as until this it felt this Chinese takeaway was on another level to all the rest but last nights experience was average at best.

Ordered a takeaway, as my wife is Gluten Free, after speaking with an employee. The food was outstanding as was the service. Food was still hot once we got home and very delicious. . We will 100% be using this takeaway again.

Not happy with the food as it was cold on arrival and they are charging more for the delivery and not telling their customers that it has changed and then when I called back and complained about the food being cold she hung up on me.

Me and my family have regularly ordered food from this Chinese takeaway over the last 10 years plus! They have been here as long as I can remember, nice friendly staff, fast preparation plus the food tastes great, better than some Chinese restaurants I have visited. Wide selection of dishes on their menu from Chinese and Thai, personally I always order the Chinese never tried their Thai food, although I heard it is good too. This place is extremely busy on friday evenings and weekends with the locals, they employ several drivers who are constantly in and out of the door which should explain the quality of the food and their reputation. Definitely worth a try if you fancy a takeaway, hands down the food tastes miles better than any of the other local Chinese takeaways in the area.

New Lotus House serves wonderful fresh takeaways with a nice range of vegetables, compared to some in the area which are limited. Me and my family all feel we can taste the difference when we treat ourselves to a meal, and are treated as a valued customer by the staff.

Food is awful too salty and disgustin. Service was rude and unprofessional. Not recommended. Waste of money.

All the dishes we ordered seem to please everyone. I ordered vermicelli Singapore style it was very tasty. My husband had a than curry this was very good as well. They delivered good takeaway and service.
