. . última oportunidad se fue

First time dining here and it was amazing especially the robots! I like how your served small portions so you don't overeat. Staff was polite and friendly and made sure your table was always clean. I would definitely recommend as the food was delicious.

What a lovely experience! I booked a table for 10 people on a Monday night for a family birthday celebration. We opted for the all you can eat menu in order to be able to try a few different dishes. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly and efficient. The owner was very attentive, checking everything was ok and laughing and joking with us. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We didn't order more as we couldn't even manage the initial food served, for this we were offered boxes to be able to take what was left home, so I now have tonight's meal sorted.....the gift that keeps giving! I would highly recommend The Ruby restaurant and we will definitely be back soon :-)

Phoned the restaurant 4 weeks advance of my booking which was on a bank holiday 21st April I asked if they were open which they replied yes so I made the booking for 5 Two days before the 21st April I called to confirm the booking Their reply was “ the boss as just told us we are not open The bank holiday 21st April I was completely flabbergasted, they have just cancelled our booking 2 days before the bank holiday, they did not have the decency to call us. When I confronted them their excuse was they could not get any staff to work on the bank holiday. They are part of the service industry who usually work on our days off. My thoughts are the service is so low (never been great but the food was ok) is that they did not have enough bookings to open and decided to stay closed which they never do on a bank holiday. So it looks like Pagoda have lost some more customers due to their unsatisfactory customer service.

Having read other reviews was expecting something a bit special, instead experienced a culinary disaster. Ordered the seaweed salad, crispy fried chicken and king prawns and then pork wonton in hot broth. The seaweed was close to inedible, slimy and covered in raw garlic. Only one taste and that was the garlic, we left it after a couple of bites, even the Chinese lady sitting next to us could only manage a mouthful. The fried food was poor, the batter dominated, and left the prawns dry. The wontons were passable but the broth had no flavour and seasoning, just an insipid liquid with chopped spring onions/chives. Best advice keep on walking, plenty of much better restaurants in Chinatown.

We've been big fans of this restaurant, both eat in and take away for a few years now. The food is decent "english-chinese" food and there's often a dj on Friday nights making for some rowdy fab nights out with a boogie after the food. Sadly under new ownership things are deteriorating. 😕. I'm sat in the restaurant typing and waiting am age for food despite the place being dead. The new owners now have a second dj space and the interior is cluttered and muddled with mismatch furniture thats all to close together. There's a weird mashed up playlist of disco, drum and bass and jazzy chillout lift music playing. There's no dj tonight since not enough booking caused his cancellation, boo. Nevermind I cam watch silent bbc on the TV instead or play pool by the bar with the justeat delivery guys if I want. Our starter came to our table in dribs and drabs 45 mins after entering the restaurant (despite ordering speedily) and now its been 15 mins since we finished eating it amd our mains haven't arrived yet. They've even run out of prawn crackers doh! I hope things can improve or we might be looking for a new Chinese restaurant soon.

I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I’m so glad I gave the Eastern Oriental Buffet a try! The food was very good, with a great selection of dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely go again and happily recommend it to others. A great choice for a tasty and enjoyable meal!

We went party of 5 for my daughter 12th,the food was dry, well over cooked and some stuff was just to spicey for children,I also have autistic child so she ended up hardly eating anything, the oldest female memeber of staff then proceed to shout saying the kids have wasted to much food even though the bill was about to be over £100 we explained why she shouted again for a fair few people to hear that we should pay more for the 2 plates that wernt touched due to taste and spice, she then shut up when we told her to go and give it to the homeless as the bill will be paid anyway doesn't matter if we wasted food we can't eat,I still paid for it all, again like I said it was my daughters 12th so she obviously ruined the atmosphere we left after that,it's disgusting place got worse over the years and that staff memeber should not be serving specially to children, nasty women.

Came here today for lunch to celebrate a family members birthday. As always the variety of the types of good was good. One thing I will say is that a couple of dishes kept going and wouldn’t be refilled for like 5 minutes, this didn’t effect our experience it was just disappointing to see as I know from experience that this is a nice place to go and eat. A positive of Tangs is that you can eat for £9.50 and refillable drinks only cost £3.50. Considering you can go up as many times as you like within an hour and 30 minutes this is an excellent deal. Really recommend as always, thanks for all your work!!!
