The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Cannot comment on atmosphere, but not sure if no stars would bring the score down so giving it a 5, and I’ll consider that my delivery score. I’d give the food 4.5 overall if google would permit it, but I’ll round up as the minor feedback I have below doesn’t warrant rounding it down. All round, decent food, reasonable prices compared to others in the town and delivered right on time. The salt and pepper shredded chicken was good, plain boiled rice was perfectly cooked and decent portion size. Chips (I request extra crispy) were good and notes followed. Veggie spring rolls are standard what you’d expect, but crispy but not greasy. All arrived hot and not long after the tracking updated out for delivery. The only minor faults were with some of the sauces, packaged well, decent amount and all hot, but flavours just weren’t for me. Curry sauce is what you’d expect, the orange sauce was a little too runny and the gravy had little flavour other than being salty. Wouldn’t mark down too much because of that as they were perfectly edible, just wouldn’t get them again. Overall, decent value for money, fast delivery and would definitely order again.

You won’t find a better place for a post-night out meal. Amazing Kebab, with unreal portion sizes and even better value. £7.50 for a large mixed meat on chips with salad is the stuff of dreams. Always a go-to for me and my mates after a few beers. Cheers to the lads that work there and keep up the good work team.

food was really cold and prices are outrageous

Really confused for the ordering process. Tried to call but no answer, tried to order sauce as an extra but don't give any options. We wanted chicken balls but didn't state if sauce came with it so we didn't order unfortunately. Would need updating to be more specific.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our meals from here. Food was piping hot. I had the pork chow mein and it had lots of fresh veg in it also. My partner got the sweet and sour chicken which was also very good. We will definitely be returning

I've had the same experience as Andrew, We used to phone our order before collection but they don't start making it until you arrive an pay for it. Not sure why they take orders for collection over the phone at all, food is great though.

We have been customers for years. I don't know what's happening but the last 4 deliveries have been so late, tonight 2 hours late. Not good when you order at 6.30 pm and have to be up at 3am for work... Order wrong, hoisin was gravy ! Mixed veg was raw.... Shocking service and food recently and we're finished using you now.

Food arrived tepid at best. Waited the 45 minutes we were advised. Unable to reheat as it would be unsafe. I telephoned to let them know there was a problem with the food but this was strongly defended by a staff member. I was told to return the food to them and they would replace the order. I have a spinal injury, and the last thing I wanted was to drive down town, which was why I requested delivery in the first place. We are weekly. Regular customers who have now deleted your number from our contacts. What a shame that businesses can just ‘throw away’ their custom.

Nice local Northern Chinese specialist restaurant that's been around for many years. Highly recommend the duck, the Beijing Roast Duck will have to be ordered in advance. There is a great selection of food catered for everyone.

my friend took me to this place to try pakistani food for the first time and it was SO GOOD i couldn’t even believe it. it is very very authentic, the staff is lovely and very kind and i’m so pleased with everything. thank you!

Tuvo el banquete ejecutivo, aunque con un precio de £ 45 cada uno, definitivamente vale la pena el dinero (apretado en el norte) volverá la próxima vez en Manchester.

The food wasn’t great. The vegetable spring rolls had no filling, the spicy tofu had no spice at all - it was more plain than the chow mein!

Absolutely horrendous visit to Ruby restaurant this evening! Service was terrible, waited ages to be served, waited ages for food, only for it to come out cold. We was only a small table in consideration to bigger parties but got overlooked time after time. Had to ask for menus, clean cutlery and for our order to be taken. Definitely won't be returning, shame cause it was lovely every other time we visited 🤦 if it wasn't for the mother in law having 2 foot legs we would of done a runner 🙄
