China Garden Rice Lane in Liverpool

one of the worst Chinese I have ever tasted and I say tasted because it was like trying it and throwing away the plate. A Cantonese chicken that has no vegetables and the chicken was breast, without batter or anything, it's really bad. In Fazakerly I haven't tried Chinese food that's worth it, the only one in Liverpool was in the Chinese neighborhood

Today I bought chicken noodles, noodles was too salty and tasted like it was burned. Unsatisfied.

Food arrived on time, hot and very tasty. This is the first time we’ve ordered from Chins Garden and will definitely be ordering again…

For your own sake DO NOT ORDER from here waited over an hour for are food we ordered special fried rice chips salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips £32 never got the chips hand full of salt and pepper chips and 5 pieces of salt and pepper chicken which was cold phoned up to complain and ask where the chips where and was told that there was no more delivery's being made now chip where frozen chip not fresh the chicken was dry as a bone and rock hard definitely reheated absolutely disgusting now I have eaten a lot of bad take aways but this is literally the worst food I have ever had so please be careful

What a shame food cold and late, it had right flavour and if hot I would 100% order again. Sorry but I won’t order again.

The quality has drastically changed from how good this place used to be. My partner couldn't even finish the items they'd ordered. We used to really enjoy going here, but this was the last time, unfortunately.

Ordered on Uber Eats. Delivery arrived without cuttlery even though I requested it. Was a bit of an issue since I stayed in a hotel so I had to walk to tesco and buy some. Also, the food was awful. The beef just tasted bland with a weird consistency. Save yourself the money and eat somewhere else.

Absolutely beautiful food. Genuinely best Chinese restaurant in Merseyside, nothing compares. Huge portions, wonderful tasting food, lovely staff, brilliant prices, such good value for money. I've been coming here for years, and have never, ever had a bad meal here! Anyone who enjoys Chinese food would be doing themselves a disservice by not trying the China Garden. Excellent food been here a few times now service is great food is excellent and staff are very polite and also very reasonably price.

the chicken sweetcorn soup was like water ,the spare ribs sauce was watered down ,main meal was very salty special chow mein .

Ordered from Uber Eats as the reviews said it was good. I ordered a Chicken Chow Mein and I received a slimy, potent, greasy broth and dry vermicelli noodles that smelled and tasted like seafood. The chips portion was more expensive than average and was smaller than expected but still tasted okay, the salt and pepper chicken pieces were probably the best part of the order but still average as they were expensive and the portion wasn't very big. We also ordered egg fried rice and curry which were both standard. I'm disappointed as we spent just over £30 for this food. Won't be ordering from here again.

Food took almost 2 hrs to arrive, when I opened the bag the sauce from the ribs had leaked and covered everything. And as it was so late the food was cold

We have been visiting this restaurant for over 15 years. Everything from the food, the space itself, to the amazing staff, is absolutely outstanding. The food is of exceptional quality; always hot, fresh and delicious and the prices are unbelievable as well. Spotlessly clean everywhere, with a lovely feel to it. I HAVE to mention the staff; honestly the most warm, welcoming, kind hearted people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Nothing is too much trouble, they honestly go above and beyond. Eric is a true gentleman and Cherry is wonderful. I regularly visit with my elderly mum and Cherry is so kind, patient and attentive with her, helping her with putting on her coat and walking mum out to our car. The warmth and hospitality of this wonderful restaurant and its truly wonderful people, you will not find seconded anywhere else. Please visit, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10, would give 100 stars if I could.

I have just got a delivery from here salt n pepper chicken (so hard it nearly broke my teeth) egg fried rice ( with no egg ) and chips which were also hard n to crispy it was all inedible £15 for the dog to eat

Really disappointed I ordered chips with my prawn cashews and got some sort of rice and I hate rice soup was nice as was the prawns but not the same as a proper meal with chips so sorry won’t be ordering again

Went with family and friends to China Garden to celebrate my daughters birthday. The staff were polite and helpful the meal, we had banquet B and food was excellent best chicken and sweetcorn soup ever. Well worth the money as around £35 a head with drinks. We will return

Terrible quality.. chili shredded beef tasted and smelled like it had been stewed in a bowl of vinegar, 'singapore style chow mein' didn't have chicken or shrimp in it but instead shredded char sui. Bao buns were dry and stale. Very disappointed

We ate here late in the evening after a visit to Liverpool with my partner. The owner here was very welcoming and friendly. We wasn't quite sure what we wanted to eat. He was very helpful and talked us through the menu and recommendations. Our meal came to our table quite quickly and before we knew it, our stomachs were full & very satisfied! The food was fantastic, authentic Hong Kong cuisine. Great food, great customer service and a great time. I will definitely be returning the next time I visit Liverpool, and I would recommend you to!

Another lovely takeaway meal from here tonight I’ve ordered a few times now and it’s always spot on I added a note this time and they read it and amended my food accordingly and I really appreciate it ,Don’t hesitate to order from here you will not disappointed, will definitely order again

Met a couple of friends shopping around Liverpool, then decide to go for food. We came across china garden, staff were very friendly and came to take our drink orders, food was absolutely delicious, we ordered a couple of starters to share between us came out at a reasonable time very fresh and delicious. Our main then came out not so long after, the chicken chow mein was definitely my favourite. I would definitely recommend china garden again and i will surely visit again.

They missed fried rice off the order so waited another 30 min for it by the time opened other food all of which was cold . The food itself was absolutely awful, bland watery mess" on the beef in Blackbean chips were vile , and fried rice was awful .I can honestly say this is the worse restaurant i have ever been to and won't be recommending to knowone . Its ruined my night and had to pay for the privilege complete let down. Fuming !!!! I will not eat here again if the owners paid for the meal !

Salt pepper chicken pieces not the best, chewy an lacking flavour. Chips decent. Special fried rice was good, the meats wasn’t cut into small pieces like other gaffs. Curry sauce was up there.
