The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Have always loved the food but for some reason the chips have been very spicy the last few times as in about 4 times more than normal, only other issue is the your lad on the desk will answer thr phone to take orders even in the middle of talking to you I find this very rude.

Ordered food here for the first time as it was my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The food was absolutely great and delicious. Didn't take too long to wait approx 45 minutes as we had a very big order. We usually order at another Chinese takeaway but their prices had doubled so tried here, A lot cheaper and just as good, would highly recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Food is lovely but the dishes seem smaller, got a combination dish and much less in there than previously.

Used to be a lovely place but recently it's gone down hill, our meal tonight was not great at, my husbands pancake roll was so over cooked so was the chicken balls was not good, emailed and was resolved

Cash only yet cards fees are cheaper than handling cash. But you cannot hide from the tax man. We all have to pay more in our taxes. They might declare everything, would you 🤔

Been to this takeaway lots of times and was always ok but with new owners the food is not good over cooked chicken balls like they were fried twice not fresh will not be going again. Sorry to say

Friday, arriving from Birmingham at 2:30pm, but no doors open. There was some disappointment.

2 of the 5 dishes that we ordered were inedible. Overcooked rubbery dry chicken; and a beef dish that was just beef in a cornflour like goup. But if you are looking for the basics, like rice and chips and chicken balls, they do those well. Lack of flavour in most dishes. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. I remember this place being great about 10 years ago.

Excellent. I recommend the Super Saver meals. I always have the meal for two. Still as good as ever 22/09/24.

Finished my appointment early and the order was put in late on our end so had a little wait with a drink whilst it was being prepared as it was a bit too early for a full house of diners eating in. All staff were lovely and restaurant is pleasant enough. Takeaway arrived 15 mins earlier than quoted which is good but based on other reviews this might happen a lot and they might be guilty of "under promising over delivering" on wait times. Got home and unpacked our order, everything was correct. Tom Ka soup was lovely as were the main courses. Possibly wouldn't order the won tongs again as personal preference is steamed not fried. Both of us have travelled in Thailand before, it's clearly not as authentic as the real deal but as close as anyone is likely to get for Ledbury and all the key characteristics of Thai cooking is there, including lovely aromatic flavours which is a nice change from other stodgy options. Portion size was entirely in line with the price point as well; for context we had x2 starters x 2 mains and x2 sides of rice (plus a large glass of wine whilst I waited) and it was around the £45 mark. Would gladly order again if in the mood for a Thai.

It was absolutely horrible it tasted very bad and felt really sick after. At 3 in the morning someone was sick. I am not happy

We've had a few take aways from China House and the food has been excellent. Always really hot and tasty. Definitely recommend.
