Best Chinese around. Food is beautiful. Only downside was a rude delivery driver but I know its not the restaurants fault.

Even the delivery driver was apologetic for the shambles of this place. They told me they were going to send another driver out to repay me, no show. Please be warned!

Disgraceful service !!! Ordered at 7.30pm. Wait time of 40mins. Called at 8.30pm and told they were busy and order was on way. 9.30pm still nothing. Called again and was told they don’t have our ticket. However £46 had been taken from my account. Request refund! They hung up 🤷‍♀️! Not received it yet !! Do not order from noble house. 4 Weeks since this review and still no refund!!

Ordered food never arrived tried calling the restaurant it was like the phone was being diverted not even ringing! Absolutely disgusting customer service how this place is still open is unreal.!!!

Absolutely atrocious service. Ordered at 7.30pm for 8.30pm. Nothing turned up so called and was told it was on its way. 9.45pm no delivery. Called again and was told they didn’t have the ticket!!! I informed them the money had been taken out my account. They hung up the phone. Tried calling back picked up and hung up. Will never use them again… I will await a refund 🤷‍♀️. Would not recommend.

We visited here with a group of 11 friends. You can order as much as you like off the menu. The food was tasty and the staff friendly and efficient. Really good value for money will definitely return.

Ordered food they missed some off it I rang them to tell them and they sat there saying no no u didn’t order it I said yes I did I wrote it down while telling you horrible service super expensive I do not recommend!

Dined here last night 27/07/24 with family. All eight of us had the all you can eat menu. The service and the food were first class. Could not find any fault whatsoever with this restaurant. Very reasonable price for both food and drinks. Great food and service with a smile.

Avoid. Terrible rude customer service. "Treat night" ruined, save your hard earned cash elsewhere mixed hors de ouvres awful, burnt inedible. Good luck finding any "beef" in crispy chilli beef. Chow mein adequate, but thats it. Change of owner/supplier? £30 in the bin. Disgusted tbh. 20+ years loyal customers never again.

The new owners have certainly turned this around. Dropped in for a cheeky all you can eat and it was delicious. Both ladies that served us were lovely and attentive, one of the best chicken and sweetcorn soup I’ve had in a long time

We went here tonight and it didn't disappoint! We was plesently greeted by staff... For starter we had the mixed starters, as well as Japanese dumplings and crispy aromatic duck with pancakes, all dishes tasted so good, the crispy duck was perfectly cooked and not greasy like in some places... Nothing went to waste!! At this point we was quite full so just ordered beef with black bean and special chow mein.. again the dishes were amazing and full of flavour, one of the best Chinese's I've had for a long time... The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean, the service was great and the staff were friendly, this is our first time at Noble House and will definitely return, would highly recommend 💯

Well I was hoping to write a positive review esp hearing good things about noble house again. But although we booked a table for 4 people for Tuesday 23rd April . When we arrived at the resturant at 7pm only to find a note stuck on the window saying the resturant would be closed till Thursday 25th April. To say we were disappointed is an understatement and poor business practice not to let any customers know if their booking won’t be able to go ahead. It was my husbands birthday if they had informed us that the resturant wouldn’t be open for our booking earlier than a not stuck on the window we could have made alternative arrangements . But obviously they don’t apprieciate their customers or even care . So thanks for ruining my husbands birthday and no we won’t be recommending

Ordered at 17.10 arrived at 19.10 food was cold and threw it all in the bin will never order from there again

Change of management and much better! We reluctantly went after a poor previous experience but my son was keen to give it another go and I’m so glad we did. Food was hot and plentiful and staff were really friendly, went above and beyond. Glad to see Noble house restored to how it once was.

Whilst Noble House is in Heanor, it still represents the best "local" Chinese takeaway that we have found living in Codnor. The food - be it Chicken Satay Skewers, Spring Rolls, Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls, any Chow Mein etc - never disappoints, however that isn't to say this place is not without its faults. Submit an order of anything above 3 items and I can all but guarantee you that they will miss something off. If you are collecting from the restaurant then I urge you to not leave until you have unpacked every item from your bag(s) and ticked them off against a list of your order. Failure to do so will almost certainly mean you get home to find items missing. Likewise, if a delivery driver brings the to your house, do not let them leave until you have unpacked and ticked off every item.from your order. Experience has shown us that Noble House aren't the best at managing such issues when they arise. For example, on one occasion when a portion of chilli beef was missing from the order, we phoned them up to tell them and were told that they couldn't possibly refund the money as that would be too complicated. Instead they said they'd send a driver over with the missing dish. 45 minutes later he arrived (but not after we had had to phone them again) however the bast majority of the other food was eaten. Another thing to be aware of is the parking situation. Should you go to collect your meal or to eat in the actual restaurant (which they do have, and which looks very nice) then Ray Street in Heanor is neither use nor ornament for parking. There is a case to be made for parking up at the Market Place and walking down. Its not impossible (I have managed to find a space on Ray Street every time) but if you have a big car, or come at the wrong time of day then it is a challenge you could probably do without. In spite of the fact the space between Noble Houses' kitchen and the front desk appears to be a new Bermuda Triangle in which trays of chow mein, bags of chips and chilli beef all disappear without a trace, I shall continue using this establishment for the time being, for as I say, the food is good and it is relatively close to Codnor. If one nearer to home opens up though, Noble House are going to have to up their game.

Pre-booked for 4 people no table ready so separated table and smashed vase in process and did not clean it up. Food service really slow and did not provide all main course ordered. We asked where other dishes were and she went to check, did not come back to us, so 10 minutes later we asked one of the younger waitresses who went to check. The first waitress came back and said it was sent to wrong table and would reorder....... all other 'mains' had gone so we declined paid and left. No apology.

One year ago my husband and I had previously collected a takeaway and both commented on how friendly and polite the lady at the counter was and what a nice atmosphere the restaurant had. Well, last night we decided to dine there.....we were the first people in there but got served the last, due to a couple of regulars coming in.... when we came to order I asked what they could recommend as a vegan starter. I was told that I could only have the seaweed. (We wasn't allowed to order our complete meal, only one course at a time). The waiter told us we have to have starter, then something from the meat section and then a side..Red flag). Bearing in mind I also said I was vegan. The seaweed arrived on my husband's meat dish, with fish shavings!! My husband asked for a separate serving of seaweed for me. When it arrived it tasted like sugar. My husband said his chicken dish was all bone and gristle. The waiter, who i believe to also be the cook, was abrupt didn't listen to our dietary requests and continued to put us last in pecking order! We asked the waiter if was the new owner of the restaurant and he snapped that he was. Very rude, very unprofessional. If you enjoyed Fawlty Towers go experience it for yourself. It cost us £64 in total. If I could've run fast enough I'd have legged it

Had noble house tonight since it was taken over the food seems to be a lot better than when I ordered it on my birthday in Feb the food wasn't as nice as it is now really brilliant food and it tastes so much better Thank you noble house excellent food

TRY THIS PLACE!! Had a few take aways from here since it was taken over 6 weeks ago and have really enjoyed it. That much we decide, whilst we was out last night for a few beers, to sack of the pubs to try the all you can eat menu. All I can say is wow!!!!! To start with we had the platter with an amazing variety of chicken, crispy seaweed, bbq pork, prawn sesame toast and spring rolls with a love dip to go with it. Round one... Amazing. Next we moved onto the chicken noodle soup. Seasoned amazingly. Went down a treat. After taking a swag of my pint we then ordered off the mains which has a very good selection to choose from. I chose the new item on the menu which was Thai sweet chilli chicken and chicken chow mein. I think this was a great choice. My girlfriend had the sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice which she enjoyed as usual. The restaurant has a lovely vibe with plenty of people dining in. Very pleasant staff. One young lady was doing her first ever shift there and she did a great job. At the end we had the opertunity to speak with the new owner. She was such a lovely lady and told us the story of how she came to taking over the restaurant. My honest opinion would be that she has really done an amazing job and I wish her all the luck and success. I'm confident that Nobel houses will build it's reputation back to where it used to be and will be the place to dine. Now is the best time to build success as Heanor has now got a better drinking scene than it did a few years ago and we all know have ravenous you can get when you've had a few. This could be that place you fall into when you are half way through your night.... Like we did last night. Try this place!! You won't regret it

Ordered for delivery … should of arrived by 19:15, after ringing 16 times finally got through as it hadn’t arrived, claimed to have had problems with the just eat service, they then said it was on the way, half an hour later still no sign of the order .. rang again as still no sign of the food … totally disappointed with the service and won’t be ordering from here again !!!! I know how the just eat order service works and was just fobbed off !!! When an order arrives staff have to confirm which showed on our app, the says delivered and to enjoy our food, if orders aren’t accepted then just eat ring the place and alert them if order waiting minutes after receiving … not hours later !!!!! Noble House sort yourselves out !!!!

Not one for writing reviews but after reading some of the reviews on here I nearly didn't go to Noble House but as Id heard it had new managers in I thought I would give it a go. I am really pleased I did as the food and service was absolutely first class. The all you can eat menu is really well priced and the mixed platter starter followed by crispy duck was about all i could handle. If you haven't been in the last couple of weeks please give this restaurant a go I don't think you will be disappointed.

Been a few times & each visit was the same as the first, excellent. Waiter was so polite & helpful. We ate every bit of our food, as it was delicious. Thank you & we'll see you again soon xx

It's my birthday and order a Chinese usually lovely beautiful food but this time I order through just eat at around 7.45 and it took till 10 past 10 to come cold and over cooked. I rang over 10 times for them to be rude and for them to ignoee me I'm absolutely devastated as iv wasted 45 pound for it to be wasted. DO NOT ORDER FROM NOBBLE HOUSE.

Had a takeaway from here tonight via Uber eats. Was delicious as always. We ordered ahead of time and asked for a 6 to 6.30 delivery slot. The restaurant called and politely asked if we'd mind receiving it a little earlier as they had another delivery in our area, I'm sure a lot of places would've just sent it early without checking. We were fine with it and the food was awesome. Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Have heard great things about the restaurant too so will definitely be visiting soon! 5*!

Won’t be coming again, the male waiter was ever so rude, I didn’t feel comfortable or welcome coming here I came alone with my child, he spoken to me terrible and as I was ordering food he was rude and basically told me I was greedy because I ordered 3 dishes for our main to share. Never felt so shocked to be in a restaurant and be dealt with this way. Never again.

Ordered Sunday night on their website at 6pm. Said it was delivered at 7:20pm. It had not been as I was sat at my living room window and seen it. Waited till 8pm then drove to the restaurant they couldn’t even find my order. I had to give it to them three times and they served 4 other people that had come in after us before we got our food. Didn’t even get a sorry and had to ask if we could have anything extra as we had paid for delivery yet had to drive. We got our food at 9pm, fast forward to 10:30pm as I’m in bed and the delivery driver turns up at my door with my food 4 hours after I ordered

Ordered food said it would be here for 7pm 2 hours later no food and can't get hold of them but they've said it's delivered avoid avoid avoid 30£ down the drain

food was scheduled to arrive at around 10:15 gave them a call around 11 ish as was still waiting and i get abuse and mouthed at by the staff on the phone saying they’ve been to the door multiple times which was a lie as we have a ring doorbell. will never be ordering from here again, since it’s been taken over it’s really gone downhill do not recommend this place at all

What is the point of phoning and booking a table, so that when you arrive it's closed, you either messed up the booking or don't contact customers when you decide to close, when you have bookings.....lost the plot in my book

Terrible Chinese meals. Luke warm meals, runny curry, chicken balls were like golf balls, noodles were stuck together (reheated) Not at all fresh. Most of it ended in the bin. This was supposed to be a birthday treat but was a total waste of money and spoilt birthday

We've been a customer for over 5 years and noticed the steady decline in food and service with meal at an all time premium price but stuck with it hoping the food would come good again but Fridays food came at an all time low standards not even the basic chow main came in a hot and edible manner £44 worth of food went to the dog

Was delivered in 10 mins of ordering and was piping hot. Lovely food and I would order again. Next time I might try the Thai menu.

I've been coming to Noble House for years on end and I've always enjoyed my experiences there. But after last night it's made me never want to return again. As far as I'm aware there are new management and last night the only waitress there was put through literal hell because she made a mistake on an order. Me and my friend along with others in the restaurant had to listen to you screaming at her for over half an hour as well as even chasing her out into the restaurant whilst she was attempting to carry and serve food. The poor woman was trying to keep a brave face and I have no idea how she managed it as even your delivery driver sat there and said he'd report this if it continued as it was clearly bullying. There is absolutely NO need to treat your staff so badly and I'm writing this to hopefully make you realise how saddening it was to see a person be followed repeatedly and screamed at by your customers.

The takeaway food was very fresh and tasty, I'm looking forward to my next meal.

Downloaded the menu from their site and spent a while looking at the choice. Was directed to an app to place an order so downloaded that only to find out the app prices are vastly different to the menu prices, so didn't bother to order

Me the wife and daughter went for all you can eat and the food was amazing my personal favourite was the satay chicken bbq ribs and the salt and pepper chicken wings and my no 1 thing off the main menu was the duck and pineapple the prawn crackers was perfect and crispy the prawn toast was perfectly cooked and the satay chicken sauce was amazing highly recommend if I had read the reviews first on here I might not have gone but glad we did and will be back for more keep up the good work guys see you soon

Wouldn't recommend possibly the worste Chinese I've ever had, I had salt and pepper chips -ok at best pineapple rice - very dry and the pineapple had no flavour, chicken in black pepper sauce - the sauce was like dark water and the chicken didn't seem or taste like chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls- the sauce wasn't great, the best bit about the meal was the curry sauce. I DID NOT ORDER any noodles nor did I order any beef. Yes this was my first order and unfortunately it will be my last. 2 star is being generous

Our regular Chinese had closed so trying new places, wish we had seen the reviews first. Firstly the prawn crackers certainly had been cooked and bagged days in advance, possibly over a week as they were stale and chewy. Not a great start and doesn’t give you much hope if the basics are awful quality. The egg fried rice was simply boiled white rice with bits of egg in, no taste to the dish and certainly wasn’t fried as stated. The sesame prawn toast was greasy, over cooked and certainly hadn’t seen a prawn it was more like processed chicken. King prawn with mushrooms tasted nice but some of the mushrooms were wrinkled which is a sign of old produce being used. The sweet and sour chicken balls were passable but only ok and the beef chow mien tasted burnt with some of the beef having a slight sour tang to them of meat on the turn. With food prices being so high a takeout is considered a treat, this certainly wasn’t. Even with the first time discount offer we wouldn’t try this place again because there are plenty more takeaways bidding for customers so definitely will be trying those as this poor quality food certainly isn’t worth our hard earned wages.

Wished I had not been persuaded to try a takeaway from here as opposed to my regular takeaway. Choose a box meal from the out of date menu on their website. It was basically a carton of rice with 3 pieces of small chicken two slices of onion and a mushroom in a small portion of sauce. I had ordered a pancake roll which was the best I have ever tasted but won't taste again as I will be sticking to my local which offers larger and cheaper meal which include meat in them

Was persuaded to have a takeaway from here and it will be the first and last. Had a chicken curry box which consisted of lots of rice with 3 small pieces of chicken 2 slice of onion and a mushroom in small amount of sauce. Best pancake roll I have ever had hence the 2 stars

Visited here with a friend before Christmas. We ordered from the all you can eat menu. I wish we didn’t! The food was incredibly cold, greasy and salty. We sent a chicken dish back as it was freezing cold, it was bought back sizzling on a red hot plate so had clearly just came out of the microwave. When asked at the end of the meal if everything was ok, we expressed our concerns and just received a poor apology and still expected to pay full price. The following evening my friend and I were very unwell. Unfortunately this ruined both of our Christmas’s and we were both bed bound for over a week. Would give a zero if I could.

Not great, delivery took nearly 2 hours and we had to walk down the road to find our driver as he hadn’t read the delivery instructions. Food was hot still though, although not very tasty.

Visited today for the first time and we really enjoyed it! The service was quick and efficient; the staff were polite and well-informed (one of us is gluten-free). The food itself was served in small portions which suited us well as we could eat/try more variety of dishes and order our favorites again (their salt and pepper chicken was especially good and surprisingly gluten-free). Another dish to point out is its sizzling plates, the ingredients used to cook ours were fresh and cooked in a thick aromatic source; a must have for ginger lovers. The place had a cozy atmosphere and an easy ordering system and to our knowledge, there was no time limit. Little puddings at the end were a welcomed surprise. Overall a great option for all you can eat with tasty food for all.

We had family and friends visiting from Australia who we’re staying in Heanor so a Chinese restaurant meal was an obvious choice. The food was excellent in my opinion and lots of it. We chose the eat as much as you like menu with great starters soup main courses and dessert. The waitress was delightful attentive and helpful. A real asset to the business. The reason for four stars is because of the seating arrangements. The last time we used this restaurant we had a round table. This time a long table .This is not a buffet menu you get table service. Bring a good appetite and enjoy.

We were the only table in Noble House for almost 2 hours, plenty of collections being made for delivery, meanwhile we received excellent service from the normal extensive menu, well worth a visit.

Had many good takeaways from but did have one bad one I had to return. Tried the restaurant recently on the all you can eat menu. Wasn't mega impressed. Had to order ribs about 4 times as they kept bringing a couple of the smallest ribs they could find each time. You have to have rice or chips with a main and obviously the rice is huge and the main is small. I know they have to make money but sneaky strategies to fill you up aren't what I'm used to compared to similar restaurants in Nottingham city. Problem is, they charge city restaurant prices

Since the new management took over a couple of years ago i do not now rate it anything like it was.! Used to be brilliant in every area. Went the other week to eat and had a surprise in a few areas. Cold inside. Tight with the heating. No table cloths on any table now.Bare tables. Used to be linen cloths. Paper napkins not linen anymore. Music too loud ,more disco like than Chinese Restaurant.(unfortunately) THEN - to top it all up, got to paying to be told by the Waitress that it WAS CASH ONLY.....NOT TOLD BEFORE I HAD EATEN. Had to literally go to a cashpoint and wihdraw cash to pay bill. Had cards on me only. Who in this day and age has Cash only??? Everyone takes cards and cash. Disappointed. Food good but not as good as previously. What a great shame - this used to be SO GOOD.

My partner and I visited Noble House for the first time last night. We ordered All You Can Eat and the food was simply amazing. The special fried rice, egg fried rice, Cantonese beef, beef with mushrooms and chow mein and prawn toast were all cooked to perfection. The service was swift and friendly and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Waited over an hour for the food to arrive. All the food was cold, and not the best quality. Some of the items were wrong. The food is not fresh as some kept in the fridges. The worst Chinese I’ve had in a very long time. Would not recommend.

Service is very good but the quality of the food is very poor. Given really small dishes which I didn't mind as it's order as many dishes as you like for a set price. Ordered several different dishes and worse one being a chicken dish. Chicken didn't even look or taste like chicken. It was vile. More expensive than Cosmo or wing wah. I would avoid Noble House!

The set menu I would say is rather expensive for the quality of the food. The ribs were poor quality and dry, the ribs had hardly any meat on. The “sizzling beef and prawn dishes” well I can only describe them as disgusting. The dish was poured onto a hot plate and was not cooked on the plate like in any other restaurant I have been to. This caused the dish to turn into a slime like consistency which was not edible. Up until this point the service had been quite good and I had no complaints about this element of my experience at Noble House. This was until we expressed our dissatisfaction with the meal and especially the sizzling dishes. We asked for. Deduction on the bill as serval dishes that we ordered we did not eat. The waitress stated that we were not able to and it was based on our own personal taste. Have you ever been to a restaurant and had reservations on your meal to be told it’s down to your personal taste? Because I certainly haven’t. Will not be visiting again.

My meal came and chicken curry was cold. Emptied on plate to warm up and it came out as a block and shook like a jelly. When warmed tried and chicken was disgusting.

Last visit to Nobl;e House was a few weeks before March 23rd lockdown, after over a year we visited again, its had a bit of a makeover, still same excellent food menu and plenty to eat, good service apart from credit card machine didn't work, who uses money anymore, wish they had mentioned this before eating or arriving.

Starting with the Thai fish cakes. Did not even look like a Thai fish cake more like a deep fried potato ball, bland and greasy. Then Thai red curry, the chicken was the fatty gristle from the under side of the bird, uneatable. They are welcome to contact me to explain them selves

The Chicken Pad noodles I ordered were rubbery and in a few places stuck together and very rubbery. When I emptied it out of the container it stayed in one big rubbery block. Totally lacked any colour and was a gulag grey in colour. The crispy pancake roll was anything but crispy.... Poorly filled and bland. Just as well it was discounted due to spending more than £20. If this is anything to go by I will not be ordering from here again

Great Chinese takeaway, not so keen on the thick gloopy sweet and sour sauce but everything else is top quality!

We have had a number of takeaways from here. Food is excellent but the deliveries are abysmal. This week we ordered at 18.30 and received meal at 20.40 after advising us on ordering, approximately 19.30 This has happened with our last 3 orders, so we have decided that we will not be ordering any more, Sorry.

Unfortunately I am disappointed with the food. There is nothing special about specials, I could say that the ingredients are missing or the dish is incomplete. Last time I ordered a special chow main, unfortunately the food was too spicy and I wasn't able to eat it, so this time it was a wrong choice for our family.

Good quality oriental cuisine at good prices

Lovely meal, great service. For a little town Chinese its one of the best. Will be back.
