Excellent value for money , food was superb and all cooked fresh .

Ordered a Friday night takeaway through Just Eat Arrived on time no probs Only to find a long HAIR in one of the dishes Rung to complain only to be told by the MANAGER that the chef there has SHORT Hair !!!! If you choose to use this restaurant please don't order the Crispy Chilli Beef.

Had a great meal. Good to be able to try things you have never eaten before. Very clean and staff polite.

It's a lovely place to eat but a member of my family had her 1 year old son with her who only eats a very little as in 1 prawn cracker which they charged £6 for. That was a joke when they had 12 of us paying full price

I haven't been here in years. I definitely will not be going back. Where do I begin First impression the place was quiet, hardly no food out on the buffet. The check to charge £5 if you don't finish your meal. I've never known a place to do this. If you're full, you're full. It's an unlimited buffer, but they think it fair to charge you £5 if you waste food. The first time I went up had some nibble bits, and then the second time I went up, I got chicken bits of food. Chicken nuggets, chicken noodles, and chicken curry. As I bit into my chicken from my chicken curry, I spat it straight out( I know, not a good manner in a restaurant). The chicken wasn't cooked. I made a complaint, and the team member was arguing with me. I would have taken a photo, but they grabbed the plate before I could. They went to the chef in the kitchen, and the staff member came back and said it is cooked, and its been checked with temperature and temperature is cooked from 65c. I was like 65'c all food must be served from 75'c and above. I work in hospitality, and I work with food too, and I know that 75'c is cooking temperature no wonder why the meat was not cooked correctly. He went back to the kitchen, and the chef took no responsibility for his own action. Undercooked food can seriously make people ill. I was offered no refund and only asked if I wanted anything else. I replied no thank you."" I am put off by your food." I had then just dessert, and that just tasted stale. I wasn't happy with the services at all. Me and friend was there for about 35 minutes. We left after all this happened. We went home and had some light snacks as we were still hungry. I will not recommend or return to this restaurant. If you want a really nice unlimited buffet restaurant, you should try Songs in Chatham. The food is amazing, with a great atmosphere, amazing staff and the food is delicious. I've been there twice this year. I'm going again in a few weeks.

Food was plentiful. Hot and as expected. The complaint..? The background music.....hardly "Oriental". Loud, westernised, more suited to a nightclub than for a restaurant lunch.

Ordered special fried rice. It was absolutely disgusting, it was basically a carton of wet semi fried rice with two frozen florets of broccoli. It stank my kitchen out. Would not recommend. £9.80 in the bin.

Orderd food from raise tonight an most of it was cold by the time it was delivered, on top of the we orderd it through just eat an put in notes to do Singapore chow main without prawns an it turned up with them in it, then called them to hopefully get this sorted out with them for them to tell me they didn't get my note so not our problem so won't be using them again

We ate here a few years ago and I suffered food poisoning. We returned here a few days ago and nothing much has changed. Several of the food containers were almost cold along with their contents. The staff are constant hovering around the table trying to empty your plate at the first hint of you putting down your knife and fork. Overpriced for the quality of food/service.

Came at 2:30 with my family .. was told to leave as they had already closed their buffet 31 mins early. Terrible service. It’s Good Friday and we have wasted our time to come down here for it

We visited on Sunday evening with 4 adults 3 children and we couldn’t fault it. The food was fantastic, staff were lovely and the variety of dishes was great. The duck was up there with the best I’ve eaten anywhere. Thoroughly recommended.

do not answer the phone all I wanted was a takeaway, from them it was £48 found Chinese a Chinese cheaper £35 same order.... & last time I went there food wasn't consistent it was all leftovers and this was for a birthday party shame

I placed a large order with this Chinese takeaway for a family celebration. Over an hour after the estimated delivery time, I contacted the restaurant for an update. I was then informed that the food had been delivered to the wrong address. The manager that I spoke with on the phone said the driver had delivered to the wrong address and did not follow the delivery instructions which stated “please call when you are outside”. I was then told by the manger that due to the drivers error he would replace the food and send the driver out immediately with a fresh order. I was told this would be 20 minutes. A short while after this phone call, I was called and said that I must cancel the order as they had already given the food out and will not be cooking it again despite the error falling with their company. Seconds later, I received a text saying order cancelled. This was over 2 hours since I originally placed my order. Over the phone, the manager was rude and dismissive, showing poor customer service skills. He offered no apology or any attempt to rectify their mistake. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received.

Excellent and excellent attentive staff, very clean. Clean toilets too. Food good and extensive choice.

We had not been to this place since before covid19 and have lost some of its choices and had to wait for refills when they ran out

A enjoyable Thursday evening at this Oriental Buffet with very attentive and friendly staff and a very good selection of starters and main meals and wide choice of mini desserts and chocolate fountain for the marshmallows. All the food was presented well and not only looked very appetising, tasted good too and we sampled various dishes and certainly no complaints, the restaurant looked and felt clean and was kept that way throughout our visit and even the toilets were of higher standard than expected them to be. The key factor is not to over fill plates as a food wastage surcharge may be applied which seem to work really well amongst all of the diners tonight and the bar is well stocked with lots of choice of lagers and wines or the good old fashioned cup of tea and would we visit again it has to be a YES

Wasn't much food left for eamayl restaurant. They were cleaning up around us, ready to close, even though it was open for another 2 hours. Took our £20 each first though .

Great buffet with constantly hot and fresh food a little short on vegetarian options though when I visited

Since opening this restaurant has really deteriorated. We booked for 11 people for a birthday, dropped balloons off before, when we arrived at 10 minutes before, we found they had given our table away to a walk in, leaving us waiting. The manager couldn’t be bothered to come out, just sent one of his waiters, who just said sorry. The food was mostly empty and even when done it wasn’t great. In summary poor service average food.

What a lovely place to eat. Friendly welcome, everything explained, food amazing. It wasn't busy when we visited, but we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Will definitely be returning.

Went to this buffet on Sunday at 2pm was empty except for one table spent £35 and for the food was not nice horrible and after I had eaten this few hour later did not feel to well ended up having to go A&E because of the food so please don’t go to this place it is not nice I would never go there again

We tried the lunch buffet and couldn't fault it. Great variety, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.we will definitely be back and would certainly recommend others to visit. 👍

I come from Worthing on the coast and long gone are our Chinese buffets. I'm here on business and three of us decide to drive to Raise.... I've been hankering for a Chinese buffet for about 10 years. It didn't disappoint me personally. The beef in black bean was the best ever! The duck pancakes delish. Mushrooms in oyster sauce were great and really good crispy beef. Not overly keen on the puddings....and didn't see the sushi section? But we all really enjoyed it...each went back for three plates.. Was paying for all you can eat worth it? I don't know... I can't eat as much as I used to when I was a kid. But all I want in life near me is a buffet so I can enjoy a bit of everything and laaaaahwwwed it was good...

Lovely Chinese buffet food, been a few times now and have always been made to feel very welcome by staff. Also a change in service you now have to pay before eating, but I guess this is due unscrupulous customers making off without paying.

Eating in with family, It was polite and pleasant we arrived just after opening so the food was fresh and well stocked. Food was very Nice No trays were empty during our almost 2 hour stay and restocked Although only small amounts at a time. My daughter had a small Boba tea a tad pricey But was very Nice, cokes are abit pricey at £4 a glass They didn’t look happy when i asked for a ice tap water. It was still a cheaper meal then most places. We go less as prices have gone up but still a nice treat.

The food is ok and the place is clean. The desert is comparatively better than others with the chocolate fountain is a star our the kids. We come again 1 year later and the standard can be kept.

Was here on Saturday 27/05/23 restaurant was empty, and after trying their buffet I could see why. Shredded Duck not only smelled off it tasted it too, the variety of dishes have gone downhill also with them no longer serving sweet and sour chicken balls. Was here August last year but things have seen a significant change in quality and in food. The guy behind the till was nice and tentative but that was only Raise's saving grace.

Had a really lovely time, staff were super friendly and food great as always! We’re big fans of the chocolate fountain too

Used to be ok but it’s gone down hill. The crispy chilli chicken and/or the shredded chicken has no chicken in it and I’m not just being funny there is genuinely no chicken and I checked almost every little bit. Was a brown, dry & splintery, unknown ingredient in place of chicken and that’s if you’re lucky, might aswell have ate cracking with sauce on it. Was the same a couple months ago and months before that too. It was good when they opened nd progressively worse. Also asked for no prawn in chow mein and got prawns.. ain’t allergic so picked them out but the special chow mein was something I could knock up with no experience with it, barely warm. Last time I order from them unfortunately

Only ever had delivery but the food has always been tasty, hot, good size portions and delivered quickly.

Visited this evening 01/04/23. Food was good, service was great. Really enjoyed ourselves. UNTIL....thought id check with the server (not stating him/her as dont want them in trouble) before leaving a tip that they get to keep their tip money. I was then informed they do not get to keep the tips that THEY EARN. The service was great, very helpful and polite. I know its a buffet but they still bring drinks, check everything okay, help with any requests and clear up. Beware....if u tip your server your just lining the pockets of their employer on top of your bill.

First time dining in & really disappointed. Food was as if we were customers getting lunch leftovers. Dishes I did manage to get a scrap out of wasn't great.. Shame

Pancakes were hard around the edges as were some of the noodles due to being under heat lamps. Other food was tepid at best and a number of containers for the buffet were empty.

Went for lunch with my daughter and sister was shocked at how much food was in the dishes (hardly any) soon as it was topped up with small amounts it went and slow at topping up, lucky if I had 3 piece of satay chicken (walnut size) Ithey have stopped doing chicken balls aswell for £13.95 each for some chips and plain chow mein was expensive my daughter had egg fried rice and seaweed not much else was there we gave up waiting for more food we wont be going back for nearly £36 with 2 pepsi was NOT worth the money.

Really gone down hill, no problem with the up front payment policy, they’ve obviously had people leave without paying, but then to go and choose food and the ‘staples’ like chicken balls not be there is very disappointing. Trays are not refilled promptly when empty and the once nice sushi bar is now absent. Pre-pay food for a family of four, adults and teens, was approx £80, thats without drinks which are expensive and low in measure. The pizza bar at the bottom is now in trays so the choice of Chinese dishes has reduced to accommodate the pizza slices which are very basic. Result, a special meal very disappointing, left feeling cheated.

There was six of us today, adults and one child of 13 months even charged for the child £4. Can’t believe that,the food was very scarce and we was in there at 1 o’clock. There was no prawns of any type to be had the tries barely empty. I was a little bit embarrassed to be to have invited my friends there. To my friends, I’m sorry but we still had a good time amongst ourselves Xx

We ordered a takeaway, unfortunately we had the wrong order delivered. They were so apologetic and quickly delivered the correct food. The food was delicious, large portions and hot when it arrived. We all make mistakes, but the attitude when informed, doesn't detract from the rating!

Poor food, wrong order sent out twice now both for allergies! So was thrown in the bin! Chips was under cooked Curry was asked for a curry with onion instead sent mushroom curry with no onions Asked for Singapore no shrimp or veg sent out with shrimp and veg after putting allergic to shrimp. Spare ribs was not sent but when they was was basically bones with some onions

Food was nice and staff were friendly, but to be charged over £75 for 2 adults and 2 children was a bit much. I'm assuming they charged adult prices for all of us. Bearing in mind my youngest is 3 years old. Sadly I didn't question it at the time as I didn't see any prices. But looking online at the menus I now have an understanding of there prices and feel they definitely charged adult prices for the 2 kids.

The place was full in the early evening and people were queuing outside to enter, a good sign hey. It soon went into chaos with young the staff doing very little with clearing the tables..several tables not being cleared for well over an hour and...

Waited 40 minutes to be seated (even though we booked a week in advance) then there was no food left so had to wait another 30 minutes waited an hour for drinks , total shambles

Ok but. There were unsupervised children running all over the place . I suggest you don't store plates below the counter where I observed an unsupervised child using the storage alcove where plates were stored to climb on / sit on. (a health and safety failure) SORT IT BEFORE IT GETS REPORTED

Went with 3 of my teens, niece and mum the food was nice not hot, it was the staff constantly watching what we ate, told us if we leave lots of food we are charged £5 each. Made to feel uncomfortable, othwr than thos it was a clean restaurant, personally I wouldn't go again. If restaurant has posters on wall that we all clearly see there is no need for staff to comment and watch everything we do, we are adults and are clearly not silly enough to waste alot of food. My teenagers also knew not to do this as well, my mum is a regular customer and knows not to waste food so I can't see why u would tell us and follow us around and keep watching us eating. Very disappointed with service, and wouldn't go again. If you look at your negative reviews, ur food is cold and dry, watching over people eating is bad manners. Don't bother eating here if you want to pay nearly £20 each without a drink for dinner u will waste ur money and not enjoy ur time.

3 Off us enjoyed a very nice Chinese meal, Jo's awesome at customer service, and we felt very look after, first time there and pointed out where everything was and if any was empty to just ask and they would make sure there was more. Must say best Buffett I had in Kent.. Highly recommend.. Thank you, will be there again very soon I sure..

Went for a family meal here last night for my wedding anniversary. Do not know where to start to be honest. Nearly everything was empty, nothing seemed fresh, nothing restocked and it if was it took a long time. the kids wanted chips which I refused as they looked so dry like they had sat there for the last week... Not to mention a chicken ball was NOT cooked properly when I bit into it and one of the spring rolls had mould fuzz on the side of it! Safe to say that was our dinner finished with. When the lady asked if everything was OK we said no not really and instead of asking or resolving any issue she walked off...... I know it was a Tuesday and maybe they only make an effort on the weekend but the service and whole experience was disgusting £70 wasted !
