Yummy Yummy in Swale

Delicious take away this evening for a very reasonable price. We had chicken and green pepper in black bean sauce, deep fried chicken and chilli in sweet and sour, chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, spring roll and a pot of sweet and sour sauce - total cost £29.90. I always panic when the meal is cooked so quickly, but on getting home it was hot and well cooked. I've marked atmosphere as two stars as, well, what do you need in a takeaway? A chair to wait, sorted.

Use this Chinese all the time Staff friendly and chatty. Very rare does it take me long to get my food.

Been using Yummy Yummy for many many years, tonight a dish was missing from our delivery, rang to tell them this and was told the wait would be 45 minutes, informed them that I was just around the corner and was then asked to pick up, unfortunately it’s a Friday night and have had some alcohol so can not drive. Was offered a free one next time! I don’t want it next time, I want what I ordered, they can’t give refund as ordered via app. Obviously there is no loyalty to regulars so won’t be lining their pockets with my hard earned cash anymore. Did I enjoy my dry rice and chow mein? No I didn’t!

I haven’t had Yum Yums in a while, I have to say the food was delicious, hot and we had a speedy service. Will definitely be making more visits.

WOW! JUST WOW!!!! Ordered chicken and chips- no chips arrived and then person on the phone blamed it on being busy!?- HOW CAN YOU GET SOMETHING SO SIMPLE SO WRONG!?!!? Still took my money though!!!

Although this is our regular Chinese, this was the first time we had tried the delivery service, as we are both poorly. We live on a farm in the countryside and not many places deliver to us, so I was sceptical. Very pleased to report that the order arrived on time, was still hot and all correct as well as very tasty. Many thanks Yummy Yummy - you saved the day!

We had a delivery of 20 different meals delivered to our retirement apartments recently. It arrived promptly with a delightful delivery driver who helped hand everyone their meals. The food was really hot, good quality, very tasty, generous portions and everyone loved it. Highly recommended .

Phoned in an order and drove to the restaurant to pick up it expecting to be able to pay by card as it isn't 1962. Got there to find it is cash only, but there is no Cash Point in the area, so had to drive elsewhere to get money out. Very inconvenient. Luckily it was worth the hassle as the food was brilliant. Just wish it would be cash only. Would recommend, just be prepared with cash.

Ordered duck and the Pankakes were rock hard . Totally ruined our dinner

I ordered for delivery in £9.90 but she said cant bec need £10. And they put wrong prices here when we call them she told me a different price very cheated staff😡

I walked in today just after 5pm and made my order. It's cash only so bring cash. By 5.10 my order was ready. The staff were welcoming which was nice . I've plated up and my meal was really tasty and I'm gonna have to do it in two hits as I'm now stuffed. Tastes awesome and the curry sauce is a bit different than I'm used to but tasty all the same. As a treat I can recommend. Happy days.

Excellent food at a good price certainly will use them again the service was first class and food tasted great and had the hotness with the chillis we like most enjoyable and present meal thank you the chef at Yummy Yummy

1st time ordering from here after being recommended and our local being closed on Monday. I must say the food was excellent! It was fresh, tasty and good value for money. The service over the phone was very good, changed my order without any issues. We will definitely be returning here! Thank you!

It's such a shame as the food is really nice, but I rang 01.06.22 for an order 02.06.22 for 7pm. Well it's not here at 7,20pm so rang them, they are busy, THATS WHY I PLACED MY ORDER YESTERDAY. Apparently when I rang it left 20mins before so it had better not be cold when it gets here, well it finally arrived at 7.29pm, OK it was warm not hot, but OK, however I ordered seaweed but got prawn toast which I can't stand, will use again, but not on a bank holiday. The driver said he was the only one delivering!

29.01.22 Ordered was told one hour 2/5 hours later still waiting not good. Hope food is good when it finally arrives ... not that impressed ... thought we had found a good one...they have been good in the past ... not this time... Will try again and we will see ... won't get a third chance... shame need to get their act together ...

Appalling place, refusing to pay staff members for 3 weeks trial period, this is a breach of minimum wage regulations, you'll be hearing from the appropriate authority! Its not slander if it's true, you're disgusting people and your reply, statement and justification for treating people like this is pathetic on every level! Training or not, you should be paying people for their time, how can you expect someone to be enthusiastic about working for you if they're not being paid for what you're teaching them, You are a joke!

Won't be ordering from here again because of the way they treat their young staff

Curry sauce watery not very nice veg in curry,hardly any meat in special fried rice,very greasy batter on prawn & chicken balls,wasted over £30,very disapointing .

We have just had our first takeaway with Yummy Yummy and it was delicious! Portion sizes are great, food was hot and delivery was sooner than expected. All the dishes were very tasty and the staff were friendly.

Very disappointed, my normal Chinese was closed on Monday, so went with next best google review. We spent £43 and didn’t get the advertised bottle of drink, when I asked for it, they said that’s changed because we are low on stock. This is really not right, they should remove that from there menus or offer something as a replacement. The Chicken and Bamboo shoots had NO bamboo shoots in it, and we weren’t given the Sweet and Sour sauce to go with the Sweet & Sour Prawn ball (best prawn balls I’ve had in a long time). The Salt and Pepper chicken was lovely, and the rest of the meal was fine. But they don’t take card payments, so you have to drive around town to find cash. I will never go back.

They do not accept card, so can't give more than 3. There is a cash matching in the shop next door but if that is shut it's a 10 min round trip to the next closest cash point (which I had to do). I enjoyed the food. But really hate using cash

The special chow mein is a massive size, good for just over a meal. It's well priced and I can't complain about the staff.

Wherever I go, however far away I move, the food from this place will always call to me. No idea why I find it better than other Chinese takeaways, I just do, and I don't question it.

When you phone and order always polite and knowledgeable on food. The Food is good and always cooked well.

I ordered food from here tonight and it was horrible stodgy sickly and overcooked and just really bland. Also the driver was very rude and asked for more money the I was quoted I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Solid takeaway used occasionally for many years. All four of us enjoy the soup and the main courses are always well cooked and reasonably hot on arrival. As with many places the portion size of most dishes have reduced while pricing hasn't but as only occasional user I won't complain much

LOVELY FOOD, HOT AND TASTY! Only criticism i have is that when i was ordering, the phone rang and they answered it leaving me waiting half way through my order which i think is very rude.

Have used this Chinese takeaway for delivery on many occasions, never had a problem and usually good food. Ordered tonight and order had items missing, rang and was told I could have items delivered or not receive them and get them free next order. Opted for the items to be delivered. Took 39 minutes to deliver and wish I had opted to have them free next time. I have added an image of the chicken balls which were overlooked and burnt. Maybe they have new owners or a new chef, but will take my business elsewhere, shame really but there are plenty of options in Sittingbourne and this one has lost me as a customer.

Fresh produce was quiet when we visited so waiting time wasn't very long .is very busy usually so u have a little longer to wait never had a bad meal from here.

Have used yummy yummy many times, always good service and friendly staff, highly recommended, always hot on arrival, plenty of food in containers, lots of meat in the dishes, they are happy to add of remove, items on the menu, always come back here for Chinese food.

Always use this fab takeaway. Very clean . Good quick service and the food is always very lovely. Good value for money. Definitely would recommend it to anyone.

Ordered a delivery. We live in a rural location and do have many places that deliver. Arrived dead on time by a lovely lady. Food piping hot and was definatley the best Chinese I've had in the 5 years since moving here. Well done yummy yummy. You are my new firm favourite

The food was not nice. Tasteless and a massive let down! We ordered a mixture of dishes. Collected. We did not like any of it. It was very greasy and extremely poor quality. We will not buy from there ever again.

Lovely fresh cakes & nice breakfast well also very kind friend to me that I most over there because near Soap N launary many times.

We have had several visits to Yummy Yummy over the last few months and have not been disappointed. They do delivery, which is fab. But the only accept cash, which is annoying. Food is lovely

For the amount you pay I was disgusted with the meal. Pork and duck chow mein, the duck had more fat and skin than meat. It was greasy and the only good part was the prawn crackers. Will not be returning.

As always polite and helpful when placing the order over the telephone for collection. Advised of wait time due to busy Saturday evening which was fine. Order was piping hot, and very tasty. Best Singapore Noodles. Spring rolls with peanut sauce are amazing. So many good dishes available here.

I used to rate this takeaway but not anymore. Ordered tonight and was happy to wait an hour, after an hour and ten I called only to be told that driver was in traffic and food would be delivered in 15 mins. No thank you why do I want food that should have been delivered an hour ago that was in a car to be delivered in 15 minutes. Taking me back to a few yrs ago when their driver was stopped for no license!! Never again!!!!

I brought beef chop suey. . Ask for no onions and I got double portions of onion hardly any beef..also there special fryed rice hardly any meat or prawns just peas. I complained and they no else moans about it... and the prices are over prices for that ain't fit for my dog or cat... they probably animals in ther food but it hard get so meat portions are scarce. ...? Dont eat ther.take my word for it goldtooth

Ordered a Chinese chicken curry and a beef curry for my other half, took one mouthful and couldn't eat the rest it was stupidly hot! To the point that our tongues and lips went numb. Went to complain only to be laughed at. Defiantly won't be eating from there again.
