Orderd tonight for myself and my family absolutely amazing service on the phone speedy delivery and the food was the best we have tried for a while will be recommending to friends and family

Nice Chinese delivered quickly, however I had the chicken and pineapple and the pineapple was very hard and a little bland. Rest of the food was excellent though and came fast. Would return but just order a different chicken dish next time.

Just popped in and had a lovely meal and a couple of drinks. The food was excellent. The hosts also, we will be back.

Well if you are happy to eat every single meal packed out with bean sprouts to make it look more enjoy! If you want an argument over what the owner eats then have a meal I’d stay away never eat there again total rudeness!!

good chinese food but closes on a monday, lovely people and staff, sell unfiltered stella 5 quid, yes 5 quid, cheapest and the best beer then the 2 other pubs near.

Not only do they have the new unfiltered 5% stella and its the cheapest out of all the local pubs near by the owners pete and his wife are fantastic too, you can also order your favourite dishes from their chinese takeaway or eat in their restaurant, good food better beer at reasonable prices, well done the George inn you deserve the 5☆'s

Tasteless , bland chicken chow mein , Wrong sauce was delivered ordered gravy and they delivered sweet and sour , also charged me for spring rolls when I didn’t even order them , plus side the Diet Coke tasted normal

Chicken fried rice with no chicken….was like bland boiled rice…had a small takeout from these, it really wasn’t all that good. I ordered chicken fried rice which literally had 3 tiny pieces of chicken so it was basically egg fried rice with no egg. The rice was completely tasteless like it wasn’t seasoned at all and had a musty taste like it hadn’t been washed or boiled properly prior to frying. I love fried rice, I’ve ordered from all over the country and know that this wasn’t prepped or cooked properly and it was that bad that I left a review on Google. The sweet and sour sauce was like runny red water with no taste as well. Chicken balls were good though and that’s all we ate of it. Ordered on a Wednesday night.

Had two takeaway meals from here now and the food is excellent! I have worked in a Chinese for years and never found Chinese food for take out that came near to what we done. This surely does. The flavours and quality is excellent most enjoyable! Thank you so much 😊

This was the first time we had used this Chinese. We were impressed. The food was very good and the young man that served me was very polite. Would recommend.

Two hours after ordering, the takeaway finally turned up. I wouldn’t mind but it was ordered as soon as they opened and we only live 10 minutes away. That and the fact it wasn’t a small order. Not sure we’ll be using them again - unless they’re the last Chinese on this earth!

This belated review is for a visit in 2019. Although the pub was welcoming, I just had a takeaway Chinese. On getting it home, it was dripping in grease and smelled and tasted off. I love Chinese food but this was the only time I ever threw the whole lot away.

Very good food and drink great atmosphere

I ordered a Chinese Takeaway yesterday for the first time and I have to say it was so delicious! Me and my family enjoyed it. The roast duck, pancakes & trimmings is our favourite! Peter is very friendly & polite... Great delivery too to Sittingbourne. Highly recommend!

Our first time of having a Chinese meal from the George lovely fresh and tasty Chinese meal staff very pleasant and delivery time was spot on we will definately be ordering again.

Would NEVER recommend anymore. The owner is appallingly rude. Have not long moved here and used The George Inn quite frequently as it's technically our local. So much so, on Sunday I was going to book a table for a family birthday. NEVER will I step foot in the pub or restaurant again. Saturday evening my partner went to co-op and as it was very busy with cars he chose to park in The George Car park. Upon reversing he only described a car who immediately parked in front of his vehicle making him unable to move. My partner wound down his window upon a man intimidatingly walking towards him and asked what was up. The owner rudely asked "Are you going into the Pub" to which my partner honestly answered "No. He was going to co-op. The owner said "you're not parking here it's my pub" so the owner without actually knowing prior to asking, decided to intimidate and block my partner in. Now whilst the owner is right about it being his carpark and it's for customers only, he had absolutely no right to intimidate my partner by blocking him in when in actual fact for all he knew, my partner could have been a potential customer. We was and never will be again. The whole situation could of been handled a lot differently. Maybe in future change your approach and be less intimidating. You're a pub owner in a village not a bouncer in a club!

Had a lovely two pints which will probably become my local.

The food is always good but the past couple of times we have used the take away service the service has been awful. We were made to wait an additional hour on top of the collection time last week and this time the delivery man was rude and said he would not deliver again because I took too long to open the door due to our bell being faulty!!!

Ordered takeaway from here countless times and have visited the restaurant numerous times. Prices very reasonable delivery service spot on and timings spot on and food great. Keep up the good work!

How rude. Over a couple of hundred pounds spent in deliveries over the last year but will not be ordering again. When the minimum order is £20 for delivery but the owner then decides to tell you on your own doorstep the conditions for a delivery on Fridays and Saturdays it beggars belief. Enjoy your Chinese. The quality of the food is good. But we will NOT be giving this restaurant any further custom. Clearly the owner has NO understanding of customer service. We do not expect to be given a lecture about when they can and cannot deliver on our own doorstep. If their are conditions regarding the delivery service then update your takeaway menu. Surely the amount of business we have put your way would enable you to do that. If you are happy to take our money then just deliver what we paid for without the sermon. That’s the last thing we want to hear on a Friday night. From now on we will order from outlets who appreciate our custom and won’t give us a lecture. Bye bye The George and New Territories. Very poor and rude service from Alice. On more than one occasion have found her hair in our food. Very snappy and rude woman. Girls behind the desk couldn’t do enough and are often rushed off their feet with phone calls, tables and walk ins but still get talked down to very frequently by bosses. Food is very mediocre and very overpriced. Wouldn’t rush a visit here anytime soon.

Ordered a take away for 30 people, right from ordering to delivery the staff couldnt have been more helpful. The food was absolutely lovely. Will definately use them again.

Excellent quality food, adapted as requested for the fussy eaters in our party. Drinks were reasonably priced and the service was friendly and efficient.

We regularly visit and often take out meals from the restaurant. The food is delicious, the crispy duck being our favorite.

Took two hours to deliver food and when we asked for a discount because of this we were given some very rude words! Will never use them again

We went there as a group of 6 and to be honest it was a real mixed bag. The service from the 2 counter staff was great. Cannot fault that, the service from the person (ALice i think) who took the order and I presume cooks was poor. Very snappy and not welcoming. Correct me if im wrong but I expect to have prawn crackers given complimentary when having a Chinese meal now (you get them from take aways), however we were abruptly told by Alice no they were not. The food itself was also a mix, I have S&S chicken balls with special fried rice. The rice was nice the chicken had so much batter and little chicken it was almost inedible. Another dish (again chicken) look like chicken covered in tripe (not nice at all) but other dishes were really good. Would I go back, not very likely was it bad enough for me to say to people don't go ... not really. If you like chinesse food then give it a try and make your own minds up.

Visited this place for my friends 60th birthday, and wasn't disappointed. Best Chinese I have had with a wide choice and NOT expensive. Couldn't wish for better service , staff where very friendly and helpful too. Well worth a visit. Will be back.

Our first visit to this restaurant having been taken by friends. The food was excellent really authentic Chinese. The staff were friendly and welcoming and restaurant and ambience was first class. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

To celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary we called in on the spur of the moment. we were made to feel very welcome. The food was fantastic, so much so we came back the next week. Quick service and good size portions.

We ordered a meal larst night at about 6.45 and was told to collect at 7.15 my wife went to collect when she arrived she was told it would be another 15 minutes so she waited 15 minutes went by when she asked how much longer again another 15minutes the staff did not seem to care to cut a long story shot we finally got our meal at about 8.20 when we opened it the meal was completely wrong we phoned to complain we spoke to the owner who did not seem to care and proceed to put the phone down on us so we made the most of what we had it was bland and lacking in any flavor all in all a total nightmare will not be going back

Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, the staff are lovely and helpful, and the food tastes very fresh. Beautiful restaurant too, and their buffet menu is fantastic, and at a very reasonable price. I can also vouch that the curry they make from scratch is delicious. If you are looking for a nice lunch, or an evening out on a bit of a budget this is the place for you.

Waited over an hour to be served a load of slop swimming in chip shop style curry sauce when asked if we nad enjoyed our meal and replied with constructive criticism the mood of the staff turned rather confrontational p.s. the place is feezing and draughty

This place is a lot of fun, staff and customers make you feel right at home and the prices are very reasonable.I've also eaten here three or four times now and will be going back again as the food was lovely and I can't fault the service either.

We haven't ever been to this restaurant but regularly use it for the only Chinese we know that delivers!! And they deliver free over £20. The food is always hot and tasty.

Went their with 15 people for a birthday meal got their at 7:30pm still waiting on food at 10pm .found food to be very bland /tastless .drinks were cheap food was crap cost me £54 pounds for food £13 for drink would never go there again

New Territories, in our opinion, is one of the finest Chinese restaurants in the South East.The Chef uses the freshest ingredients and takes great pride in the quality, precision and presentation of her delicate style. There is an extensive and very reasonable wine list where friendly advice is given if required. The general ambiance is tasteful, relaxed and contributes towards a very pleasant eating experience.The take away service offered by New Territories is second to none with brilliant food and great value.

Out in the countrside between Sittingbourne and Faversham there is an Olde Worlde Country pub that has an excellent Chinese Restaurant on the side. Not only is the cuisine authentic Cantonese style , with a few days notice you can order fresh crab, lobster or seabass. The wine list had a choice of over 100 different varieties and ranged from the house at £12 per bottle to some very interesting vintages at around £50 per bottle. But for me the gem was the real ale. As this restaurant is connected to the pub itself the real ales and other beers and spirits are all at pub prices.
