Not used here for a long time as moved, but happened to be in the area and felt peckish. Ordered a special chow mien. The cost? £6, excellent value, large portion supplied with wooden fork as was eating on a park bench. As I said it was excellent, pork, chicken, prawns, crunchy veg, lovely sauce, and great tasting noodles. This place is cash only and does not deliver so hence the great value as they keep overheads to minimum. It was so good I had another one. Excellent.

Had a lovely meal from the Miramar very tasty a few things that are sold are not shop brought they are home made to traditional recipes and much more tasty The staff are lovely and will go the extra to make to your requirements this to me is the best on the island and very highly recommend this place

This is the best Chinese takeaway buy miles. Food always gorgeous lovely and hot and the price is amazing.

Very quick to get the meal. I had the sweet and sour chicken balls. It was not bad but could had done with less batter and was very oily. Good value foe money.

Decided to treat ourselves with beef and mushrooms, beef chow mien, prawn balls, chicken curry and special fried rice not one item had any flavour extremely disappointed and what a waste of money , beef tasted like chewy leather, rice pre cooked and reheated I ate about two mouthfuls, they used to be really good but must of changed the chef never eating from there again. Do not recommend awful 😞

Best Chinese on the island - always good food for a good price.

Currently this is the Chinese to go-to on the island. Great dishes but the crispy fried chilli beef could be better. Everything else that I have tried is great.

Don’t get me wrong lively food in this place but the young lady at the front is horrendously rude and sarcastic, and if it’s busy you don’t have a chance in hell of getting a word in to ask about your order

Easily the best Chinese takeaway on the island. Always polite, friendly and fast. Only couple of things that is a down side no delivery, no cards. But still worth 5 stars

I really struggle to see how people can give this place just one star? Been using here for many years and it’s still owned by the same family. I’ve never had a cold, dry, oily meal as some say ever.. the food is of the highest order, great portions, tender beef, flavoursome, and I never wake up with a raging thirst as a result of MSG like other Chineses in the area. Price wise it’s the best price Chinese on the Island, some £10 cheaper for the same meal, the reason for this is they do not deliver or accept card payment so no extra expense for them to have to pass down to the customer. Top notch grub!

I think I’ve found my new favourite Chinese. On the way home from a couple of drinks decided to have a Chinese meal and opted to try here rather than my usual Chinese of choice glad I did, not only was the food delicious, it was over £10 cheaper than my usual Chinese meal, I ordered exactly the same and not only was it cheaper it was as good if not better and I did not wake in the middle of the night with a raging thirst like I usually do as over use of MSG. Superb!

Good choice of great tasting chinese food. Friendly service and fair prices. Menu is carefully set out to show main ingredients for any possible allergies and food always freshly cooked and tastes great.

This restaurant is so dirty and not been clean for 8 weeks the staff is so rude the food dropped on the floor and rat droppings over the counter it's not fair the way it is is the stuff I so rude when you told him that the idea that I didn't like the idea of it

Always get decent food and service here and it's great value as well, worth a look if you're going to get a takeaway

As a takeaway this place is very hard to beat. Fast and always good. Have not had a bad meal from here.

We got a takeaway from here, service was great and food was yummy. Definitely go back again when we return.

Used to visit all the time but after trying again a couple of years ago it was awful. Gave them a go yet again as we couldn't bothered to drive anywhere. Food was saturated with grease. The chicken balls taste like no chicken I have eaten ever. The rice was over cooked, stodgy and cold. I needed a new set of teeth after trying the spring rolls. The sweet and sour sayce was like water yet the curry sayce had turned to jelly. The prawn toast was like eating polystyrene.. very squeaky. I felt like we'd been given an order that hadn't been collected. Will definitely NEVER return!

I ordered here a few times and every time something has been wrong and when you call up they say can have a credit for the difference. Not good enough when you order something you expect to be correct as far too late when home.

The order was handled quickly, and was ready in a matter of 10 minutes. And the food was great quality Chinese fast food! Great for a late night dinner in front of the tv!

Para su comodidad, este es literalmente bajo para llevar a 5 minutos andando. Un precio razonable para llevar, buenas porciones y sabor agradable, admito que no es el mejor que he tenido para llevar chino sin embargo lejos de lo peor que he tenido.

Nos alojamos en el excelente philipa queen b&b; al otro lado de la carretera desde esta llevar a comienzos de marzo por una semana y terminamos comiendo allí cada noche! La casa curry especial es absolutamente precioso! Sólo un problema, tienen una comida y querrás otra las siguientes noches!!! En mis cinco principales comida para llevar chinos en todo el país.

Nosotros optamos por tener una comida para llevar durante una estancia en el Queen Phillipa B&B;, no nos decepcionó.

We visit this takeaway frequently. The food is always good hot and fresh. Great variety too and always a safe bet for a big order. Lovely.

Great take away. I arrived late in the evening to the Island to visit my father in hospital, so I popped in a shop to buy a bottle of wine & then next door for some food

Me and my husband go to this chinese take away. We always get too much food and it tastes too good. My family (negus) has allways used this take away since i was a kid. Excellent food
