Used this place for a takeout fir the 1st time tonight… delivered spot on and food was perfect Will definitely use them again

Food is always freshly cooked and piping hot I think it’s the best on the island

This was closed on Saturday night at 10.30pm. Walked here to get food. Don’t believe the published times. Very disappointed

Quite expensive compared to others. Prawn crackers must have been made days ago as were stale and tasted musty. Also had trouble getting order right over the phone and despite correcting one item twice when the order was read back it still arrived wrong.

As good as the first time and won't be our last. For sure

First time for me and won’t be the last at halfway Chinese tasted fresh and very tasty quick delivery can’t ask for more

I only ever got Singapore noodles but they were always perfect. I asked for extra spicey and got exactly what i wanted. Friendly staff always willing to help.

Just ordered for the 1st time in about a year since the 1 star hygiene rateing thought I’d give them another go ordered a chicken curry the chicken was red (raw) rung up to complain and was told there using a new supplier that’s why it Was red 😳 never heard so much rubbish I don’t think it was chicken it was a bit like jelly Lady said she can send another one (no chance) or a credit on my next order (no chance either) £37 pound plus tip thrown away Not getting no more of my money

Great food best Chinese on the island

I was very sceptical of entering a Chinese restaurant due to the covid outbreak, however the food is very nice.

Due to Covid you can not wait in the shop, you order and pay and are told when to go back. My order was just comming from the kitchen when I returned. The quality is very very good. We also order delivery from the Halfway Chinese, the meals always arive piping hot and the quality is always of a high standard. Sometimes the wait can be 45min+, but it is a popular venue and the wait us worth it.

Great Chinese food for Saturday night. Always tastes nice and never had an issue.

Had a delivery from here this evening £50 worth of food and was served up raw chicken not only that but when I complained to there boss I was hung up on twice and got a very hostile reception from them in regards to refund. Disgusting place

Since the dragon Palace has gone from the best to worst takeaway on sheppey since sue and Robin left to run parkwood Chinese takeaway, halfway is now probably the best on sheppey for takeaways the food is well cooked and their sauces so tasty to complement the dishes, they do delivery and the dishes are still hot when they arrive

Best Chinese on the Island, delicious chow mien made with thin noodles, lean quality meats, rich sauces. Excellent

I always order via phone and collect food on way home from work. Love the friendly service in there and food is always fresh and delicious.

Ate from here a couple of times and was nice however ordered tonight and luckily we didn’t eat much. The other half’s s& s chicken balls where very very pink in the middle and the chicken in my curry tasted like the cheapest reconstituted rubbish I’ve ever tasted. Called to get full refund. Hot garbage, wouldn’t eat from here again if u paid me

Without doubt the best Chinese take away on the island, everything is well seasoned, hot, and thy serve large portions, the plain chow mien in particular is excellent, just the wonderful taste of soy, hot walk and seasoned oil. Delicious

not only do they deliver but there food is by far the best Chinese on the isle of sheppey, a little pricey but worth it.

Had a takeaway from here for a birthday celebration on a Saturday night, the order was for 10 people and was a very large order and was told that the food would be ready in about 25 mins, I walked in to collect our meal and the place was busy with people ordering and the phone was constantly ringing with new orders, there were 6 people working extremely hard in the kitchen in order to prepare all the food, my order cam out 5 mins before time, got home and we enjoyed a fantastic meal, all hot and delicious. Top Chinese.

Quite often order a delivery from this Chinese. In the 7 years we have lived on the island, I have only had one bad experience with them. Great food and happy to recommend.

Just had a really good chinese take away only waited about 40 minutes for the home delivery. All dishes hot and exactly what I ordered. Will definitely be ordering again I thoroughly recommend it.

We had a large family gathering over Xmas phoned our order through and collected 20minutes later food really good very hot and tasty order correct first time and it was a order for 16 so we did think there might be some thing missing but it was just perfect 👌

Oder food in shop, got home in less than ten minutes.food was all just warm,not cooked to order. return for a refund and went to the nearby restaurant and order the same,this time the food is all hot when i got home.

The photo of food shown on windows looks great,the food you get is nothing like whats shown. You can not order the food shown,so try a chow mein and a curry. Got home the curry is cold and the chow mein is just warm, waste of money.

delivery 30 minutes late and food is cold. return for a refund. could be the food from there raise restaurant avoid.

So disappointed with the meal I had tonight it had always been great but this time it was very poor over cooked and tasteless won’t use them again

We use this takeaway regularly, it is the only Chinese in the area that provides a delivery service but the food is always hot and of an outstanding quality. The last couple of times we’ve found it difficult to get through and have had to call repeatedly until someone answers, however tonight, we have called over 200 times, most times it’s engaged which is understandable for a Saturday evening but many of those times the call was either answered and then immediately hung up or the call was rejected!!!

Without a shadow of doubt this is the best Chinese on the island. The chow mien even just the plain one is delicious, thin egg noodles, tossed with soy, very simple but excellent with that distinctive hot wok flavour. The Kung po and crispy chilli beef dishes are especially good and would not look out of place served in a Chinese restaurant.

I’m very shocked I use this Chinese a lot and when ordered last night the chicken tasted and smelt like fish I fort maybe they have cooked it in same pan not to worry but then woke up through the night been ill and been like it all today just been to the doctors as was not sure what it was as suffer from heart condition and they did some tests etc and advised me I have food poisoning well the only thing I ate yesterday was Chinese from here and the day before I only had a bacon sandwich from home so it must of been the chicken that smelt and tasted like fish, I’m really shocked as I say I order from here a lot at least once a week if not more. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from here now.

It is a small Chinese but thee menus are very tasty and the staff are very attentive Parking is a pain

Recently ordered £100+ worth of food from this place in a single order, i have never seen a chinese takeaway so expensive ever! For example i ordered chicken satay skewers and when asked would it be possible to put a little bit more satay sauce on the skewers i was told that would be an additional £3.30 which is ridiculous.

Been using this take away now for 7 years, not once had a bad meal from here. Ordered this month again, still amazing.

This is our 4th delivery we thought that it would be more prudent to see if the quality or standard if delivery changed since our first review. The quality of the food is excellent, delivery time swift, the plates had warmed as the driver rang the bell. The prices maybe slightly higher than a collected meal, but then it's your fuel and time spent collecting. This was great, taste, food hot and speed of deluvery. Will use again and again. Realy love this place.

This is is the best Chinese restaurant on Sheppey. Portions are generous and the food is delicious. Delivery is fairly prompt depending on the time of the week.

Not used this Chinese take away before but was recommended it by my family and I’m pleased they did as the food was delicious, great quality ingredients, well seasoned, hot and very tasty, the plain chow mien in particular was delicious, fine egg noodles with that wonderful distinctive taste that is impossible to replicate at home. Order takeaway when we arrived the place was heaving but still had great food and on time , not many can restaurants match that well done .

Food came on time and was nice and hot. Portions were of a good size and quality was better than many other take aways. Would definitely order again, although did seem a little more expensive than some others.

Visited here on a mid week evening. Food lovely, good selection. Crispy Chilli Beef was the only disappointment as it was lacking chilli. I think it's odd to have the duck before the starters but both were lovely.

Lovely food good portions. Had the satay chicken, green Thai curry and Singapore fried rice. Absolutely lovely. Thai curry matched any others locally if not better. Satay was flavoursome and good portions. Only bad point was the wait for delivery but food arrived hot.

The food is really good when we have takeaways but what gets me is the use of tinned chicken. Tastewise we can't fault it and the delivery is usually fairly quick but the quality of the meats used are really lacking.

I was told this Chinese takeaway was amazing and speedy etc etc I was waiting over 90 mins for a delivery. I called them after an hour and was informed they hadn't even started cooking my order yet. I've never known this from any Chinese takeaway ever. Awful. And when the food arrived it was awful too. Shocking

Love this place been going for years. Excellent service, not been disappointed ever, always delivered within 1 hour. Works out about £11 per person for enough delicious food that doesn't leave you hungry. Feels like really good restaurant food in the comfort of your own home!

We had plenty of food yet some said 'large containers' but were just in the standard containers. Prices were VERY high which was disappointing to say the least

New to the Island and trying to find my fav Chinese place and I think I found it.

Was staying at a holiday home on a local site and fancied a takeaway. Found this takeaway and within 15 minutes of ordering our food in there, it was ready for us. On a Friday night as well! Staff were really friendly and the food was really delicious. Couldn't fault it in any way! Will definitely be eating from there again if I find myself in Sheerness!

We have been using this takeaway for a long time now and have never been dissapointed . The food is always delivered hot and fresh and always on the time we requested. If trying to order on a Saturday it's always hard to get through as they are so busy so we order early and give them a time for delivery.
