Great food will not be disappointed

First time at this restaurant, I need to give myself a shake, this place is fantastic, great food, easy parking , great atmosphere, and very good and attentive team serving, I will be returning soon, if you have never been here before you don't know what your missing , this place is a must,believe me I never took any pictures, that's because I was to busy eating this delicious food, (sorry guys I will take them next time).

Very disappointing traditional Christmas Dinner: the meal was cold, roast potatoes uncooked in the middle, carrots and sprouts undercooked, broccoli was not cooked!. For £55 per person I expected much more than this. Staff didn't seem too surprised when this was pointed out to them, they did apologise and offered a portion chips. Before anyone jumps on my comments, yes! I know it was a Chinese restaurant, and if they can't present well cooked European food, they maybe shouldn't offer it on the menu.

So Disappointed with the customer service I received when popping in for a takeaway. I asked the female member of staff for a menu to look at to decide what we were having. I rudely got told no you can't have one very abruptly. No reason why this was the case. I Had to just turn away empty handed. All the while menu,s were clearly there on the service counter. Its fair to say we want be back. After years of being regular customers.. There is no excuse for bad customer service Some Training needed done I Think..

Lovely wee place, food was lovely and served quickly but hot! Polite staff, and would visit again.

The manager was very helpful and got my food cooked with gluten free soya sauce as I am a celiac. Three cheers for her and the Chef ! Excellent food. If only the portion of fried rice could be made slightly larger. Of course it would be better if a dish came with a portion of rice as an accompaniment - as is usual in many restaurants.

We often visit for a quick family lunch. The value is fantastic and the service is always spot on. Good range on the lunch and pre theatre menus. We always return when we fancy some Chinese food. This place does not disappoint. Would recommend.

The business lunch is incredible value for money and it's even available on Saturdays! Lovely place to go for lunch or dinner.

Party of 13 of us for a retirement of a family member. It was Easter Saturday and we were waited on by different staff than we were used to. Not good service at all!!! Slap dash with drinks, not placing them with who ordered them and the dinner service was appalling. Plates of hot food were literally being dumped in front of us. The waitress said to me to mind the plate, it's hot, before letting go of it in front of me and it clattered when it landed on table. No apology - Shocking! One was particularly LOUD & BRASH shouting out from end of a 13 seat table to find who who ordered what. Only saving grace was the food was actually nice.

First visit here with family. The food is outstanding. It's the best Chinese food I have ever had. The service is amazing, the food came out so quickly and was piping hot. The staff are really nice too.

We actually ordered takeaway. We have always loved this takeaway after Royal Blossom went this up. Normally just as good. Tonight 1at Feb 2024 it was rank. Only are quarter of my meal even then not the best. How did we go from being absolutely great to mediocre at best and rank really. Was so looking to this meal been slimming and thought you know what blowout. Extremely dusappointing.

Ordered food for delivery, food arrived half an hour from ordering. Food was piping hot and fresh. I love that the mixed starter comes with prawn toast, not a lot of takeaways do this! Nice touch. We really enjoyed our meal… delicious!

Great staff, place had a nice buzz. Almost gave 3stars for food. Chicken wings were overcooked. The chicken in the sweet and sour was overcooked as well. The extra star came from the chicken schezuan which was excellent.👌

Food was OK nothing special however service was horrendous!!! So rude, no patience and actually said "there's the door" as we were leaving! Shanghai Teahouse is 100% better, won't be back.

Food was ok although nothing special, loaded with MSG and a little expensive for what it was. However the service was terrible. We waited over 40 minutes between starter and main course. Some tables arrived after us but were served before us. Bit of a shambles to be honest. Better choices for a nice Chinese, The Shanghai Tearoom for one....

Got a chicken satay it was tuff as if it had been from the day before in the container along with the chicken was some bits of green peppers and a couple of bits of onion Chinese cuisine (I think not )

Had a 2 course lunch here. Food was good but the portion sizes are very small compared to other similar restaurants.

Wasn't told about pre theatre menu that was available. No set menu on for Valentines day. Good food and friendly staff but maybe slightly overpriced as quite typical Chinese food.

We have received amazing service from the staff at 4 seasons. We had booked for Christmas dinner and unfortunately my mother was taken into hospital for surgery at short notice meaning we were not able to make our Christmas booking. Staff so kindly moved our booking to a time when we could all attend and enjoy a meal together. This was really appreciated. And food was, as always, beautiful. Totally recommend.

Don’t usually do these but felt so strong. Got a king prawn chow main . 3 prawns in it . Noodles very dry and chips were cold . Last time I get food from here very disappointed

Been here a few times when I've been home for visits,lovely food and surroundings.

The food and service are consistently good. The lunch menu has enough choices for everyone. There are no surprises. The staff try to accommodate any special requests. We have been going here on family occasions for some years and have never been disappointed.

Food was absolutely beautiful, great chilled ambience, staff very friendly, polite and upbeat. Cleanliness was to a very high standard well worth the price and 5* Visited a year later and still stand by everything from last year 👍

Today for lunch 3 of us in work ordered food. One had chicken fried rice and sweet and sour sauce, which she said was lovely. Myself and an other order Szechuan Chicken, Fried Rice and Chips. When putting the Szechuan Chicken out, I said to my colleague that does not look like Szechuan Chicken? I continued and thought perhaps it just looks different. When I started to eat it and my colleague also was eating it (we were sharing the meal) we both stated that it was not Szechuan Chicken. I called the restaurant to advise that the meal we both ordered was not Szechuan Chicken. It tasted like Chicken in an oyster sauce. Being on my lunch break the girl from the restaurant said her manager would call me back in 30mins. No, could I just collect the right meal, I requested. When I arrived the lady had another Szechuan waiting for me, it looked exactly the same. It was tasteless. I proceeding explaining to them that Szechuan should be spicy, sweet and savoury all in one, not bland with oyster sauce. They said "would you prefer something else then", I confirmed that I did not want this meal and requested a chow mein. I had to bring the food back to them scrapped off the two plates. When I said where are the chips, they said no your not getting the chips because the Chow Mein is dearer (may I say by a £1) than the soo called Szechuan Chicken, he said that#s how we make. I said but we also returned the chips that were on the plate. No your not getting the chips I was advised. I then lowered my levels and probably should not have and said ok then what about the fuel having to come back again. I received no apology either. I advised that I would not be back again. Sorry to say the Chow Mein also has a terrible after taste, my colleague did not eat hers after tasting it. All in all, lesson learned and wont be back.

Food was amazing and place very clean helpful friendly staff

Picked up takeaway…. Shockingly bad, starter of honey chicken wings inedible it was so overdone, crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce soggy and very salty, chicken curry average and chips were cold and had black bits all over them. We have dined here several times and it’s always been fine but the takeaway was very disappointing will not use again.

Went for a lunch visit as my share dividend was in. 3course lunch for me, garlic mushrooms 5*. Chicken curry 5* and ice cream I believe to be equis enough said. My mum had the garlic mushrooms & chicken chow me in. Pint of lager & soft Drink £26.

I have had a few take aways from the 4 seasons, and they've all been lovely.

Well what can i say.. we tried the 4 seasons after years of driving past and always wondering what it would be like, as it looks lovely from the outside. To start with i ordered a pint of diet coke and my partner ordered soda water n lime... both were luke warm,. We then got our starters and to be fair they were OK 3 chicken wings i guess is enough for a appetiser right?. Looking forward to my special fried rice coming, thr anticipation almost killed me. The main course arrived and the excitement suddenly drained from my body when i set eyes on what was allegedly the meal i had ordered. What arrived in front of me was something that resembled someones left overs from a special fried rice. 2 tiny prawns. Shreded up peices of what should have been slices of meat. Basicaily i wouldnt have served that to my dogs. The presentation was 1/10. Absolutely no love went into making that dish or serving it up 🤣. My partners sweet and sour was something that resembled an iceland frozen meal ... actually she said shes had better. We swiftly paid and left ..safe to say we wont be back. Avoid !!

Nice staff, nice food, just a lovely wee lunch

Decided on a Chinese for Christmas dinner for a change and were recommended to try this restaurant. I booked a collection slot and when I went to pick up the meal the restaurant was mobbed which gave me confidence that we had been given good info and had chosen a good restaurant. We had 10 people eating and spent £140. Unfortunately most of the food was not that good and the portion sizes were not good either. We had ordered three duck dishes which all tasted decent and there was a chicken satay that was good. The other 6 dishes were pretty poor, especially the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style which had tiny little pieces of chicken and hardly any of it. Pork Char Sui was completely bland and the other dishes were no better. Soggy onion rings and damp prawn crackers were other highlights of the meal. The rice was wet and we had some damp noodles that were disgusting. The food was ready when I arrived well before my allocated collection slot time and was cold by the time I got t back home so not sure how long it had been sitting waiting on me. I will never be back here again and I really feel sorry for all the people that think this place is good. I can only imagine they have never had decent Chinese food before and are used to the usual takeaway slop served up by takeaways. If you think this place is good try the Ka Ka Lok on St Georges Road in Glasgow or the Peking Palace on East Kilbride Road in Rutherglen and you will never return to the Four Seasons in Hamilton.

I had as a starter pancake rolls ,it looks as they were bought from a grocery shop, I was disappointed, the beef was tough.

Very lovely food, good service, reasonable prices

Can be quite expensive to sit in restaurant, best time to go is for the pre-theatre on Sunday and during the week, the pre theatre menu is limited but still has a decent choice. Food is always well cooked and tasty. If you want a sit-down experience at a chinese restaurant this is a good option. The ribs tasted of good quality, saucy and fell off the bone. Sweet and sour was good as was the satay chicken but didn't come with a creamy peanut sauce so it wasn't overly flavored. Dessert choices are limited, ice cream, gateau etc. They do not offer buffet. You can also pick up take away from here.

Nice food but bit overpriced for what it is, had better takeaways that I’ve paid 70% less for

extensive menu. sea bass was beautiful. the prices are very competitive. will definitely visit again.
