Happy House in South Lanarkshire

Only used as Sen Lin was close but hoped for an equally good take away….:how wrong!!! Half cooked chips, satay sauce that was actually curry! Nope won’t be back!!!

Only used this takeaway because Mr rice was closed and won't try it again meagre portions egg fried rice had grey coloured egg in it chicken balls were greasy salt nad chilli chips were so greasy we couldn't eat them disgusting takeaway avoid at all costs

We have had a few meals out of Happy house but this is the first time we have been left disappointed. The food tasted great but the quantity was so small we had 2 write this review...For the cost, including having 2 pay for prawn crackers we will not be back anytime soon....

Been going to the Happy House for many years. Great food and service the curry sauce is amazing and is even better with chips.

Not bad food, phoned at 18:50, told 15-20 minutes and got it at 19:32. They don’t start making until you are in and paid so don’t phone in advance, and stay away at weekends!!

My Favourite food place in Carluke - 2 chicken spring onion and ginger. Not flash but great food for takeaway

I prefer Tommy Cooking but when we have our grandson staying he prefers here, he loves the gravy. Always okay but as I said not my first choice.

This take away has possibly the best gravy of any chinese and is one of the few that has not changed to the very concentrated horibbile gravay like that from the new pack yee (wishaw) my ham fried rice was out of this word keep it up guys

The food is good, probably best in Carluke. Although you do need to wonder where they go to make it, 3 times in a row have waited 40 minutes, no acknowledgement either and preference for those who phone in, even if you've ordered first in the shop

Sweet and sour chicken should be renamed very little sweet and sour chicken plenty of rice but not a lot of chicken,I will not be back.l

We have been visiting every other week for the last ten years and never been disappointed with my meal. I have tried various items off the menu, but most of the time now have the same thing and they always remember my order and just check if it is going to be the same. The staff are welcoming and work very fast without any fancy computerized tills etc. Straight forward place, with no fuss or bother..they know what they are doing and get it done... with a bit of banter thrown in .. Parking your car within easy walking distance of the shop is possible..though not easy just outside the shop as the road is mainly for shoppers and deliveries

great food never been disappointed and they do a delivery service just call and your food will be delivered to your door piping hot and not to long to wait they have a great selection of food on there menu staff are always friendly and helpful

Excellent food, great service, very good choice of menu even for the most discerning palate. Very courteous staff.

Sometimes the wait can be long on a busy Saturday night but the happy house breast of chicken curry is well worth the wait compared to the other Chineses close by.

Straightforward Chinese food. no pretensions of being anything other than a Chinese takeaway. No won ton soup but I can live without it.

Never had anything from here before. Got a takeaway on Sun night which consisted of two large spring rolls, prawn crackers and special fried rice. Yummy!!! The service was excellent, delivery was speedy and food was delicious. Will definatley be ordering from them again. Happy customer!!
