Food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Service was great but not intrusive, so we could have a good catch up xxx

Went for lunch 3 adults and one child we all got one drink each cola and the child had water, all the food was cold rice was extremely over cooked we had soup to start and the noddles weren’t great and tasteless not a massive selection for deserts no matter what food we tried it was cold and didn’t taste great at all the bill came to £70 this was a Sunday when we went and the food definitely was not worth the price we paid. Would not recommend very disappointed.

Heard good reviews. Would never go here again. Server was rude. Asked to use toilet as we were purchasing food told no. Food was reheated. Chips disgusting def reheated, chicken Maryland that's a laugh.Soggy lettuce whatever mush it was. Not worth the money. Will never ever eat here again. Should actually be no stars. So server was it worth being so rude and also because it was card and not cash. Would never recommend. Subway is better. Don't recommend anything.

Hour and a half waiting for delivery, food said delivered on just eat and then the order was cancelled.

Do not waste your money here ! Food is dry disgusting and everything is half empty . Cakes cut so you only get the smallest portion and if you ask for more or fresh stuff you are told no they have none left .lies . £70 for two adults and child and we barley could eat anything , avoid avoid. The food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. We've eaten here a good few times over the year's and it's just as lovely as we remember. Will definitely be coming again

Will never eat here ever again went for buffet got chicken soup and the chicken was off. Told the waiter no apology nothing the next thing all the chicken dishes were being removed before the lady running the place proceeded to tell us her fridges were not working that's why the chicken was off. If they know that why take the chance of making someone seriously ill. I would never eat here again if it was the last place in hamilton disgusting.

We were between lunch and dinner time and that's probably not the best time to go but it was tasty enough.

Great selection of food, good selection of deserts, very reasonably priced. Nearby paid parking if you don't want to risk parking right outside.

Travelled 35 mins to eat here for my sons birthday meal soon as I arrived I I chose noodle soup put it in bowl and disgusting black hair in it obviously as anyone would be I was instantly put off by this I spoke to the staff who said it’s not their fault it’s a customers !! Unfortunately my kids had already started eating and I didn’t want to ruin the birthday meal for my son so I chose not to tell the kids and just told them I wasn’t hungry but while sat with my kids the staff went past me every 5 seconds staring obviously to make sure I wasn’t eating I mean seriously as if I’m going to eat absolutely anything from here kids say food is not the best and they have had a lot better else where the staff made me feel very uncomfortable and it’s clearly ruined tge birthday meal I would definitely not recommend this place avoid and go somewhere a lot better I wish I had done exactly that

To many chicken dishes, only 2 beef dishes and was very tough. No prawn dishes sorry no be back for a while.

Food was okay, but choices have definitely reduced since our last visit. Charging kids over 10 years old as Adult Prices is completely outrageous and a con. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards cos that's disgraceful. 😡

The rice was hard , and had a funny taste , as soon as I tried it was hard in my mouth and a very tangy taste as if it had been reheated or left over I , I explained this to staff and explained that I did not want to eat anymore despite only having one mouthful off egg fried rice and still had to pay full price for a buffer and I asked if there would perhaps be a discount and was no willing to pay for food I had not ate however staff threatened to call the police if indid not pay and I reiterated that I never said I would not pay but considering I never ate a meal I was wondering if I would get money off, will never be back!!!!

Had a takeaway food delicious 😋

My son ordered a takeaway through just eat of chicken balls & curry sauce & chips The food came in a container of chicken , chips & sweet and sour sauce that he never asked for , it looked like a dogs dinner , the chips were soggy as they were in with Sweet & Sour sauce and the chicken was raw & pink . He phoned your restaurant and was told he can either bin it or eat it , I've kept it and taken photos as that's a health risk and unacceptable and customer service is worse, he was told to order more but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy anything . Appalling food & worse customer service

Sunday lunch. Too soon after breakfast to do it justice but my two friends made up for me.

Food is great but some dishes were a bit overcooked (rubbery beef, hard rice). Other than that I can't fault it. The servers were lovely and very helpful.

The most disappointing Chinese buffet restaurant~~ 1. All food consists mainly of fried food and is too simple. Almost no vegetables or seafood 2. The food doesn’t feel fresh. 3. Low level of service from staff

Always fantastic. Buffet is consistently good, staff are lovely and prices are great! We come in every few weeks and never disappointed.

It had been years since i last visited and looks more better and the decor looks better. On entering the lad was Quick to make contact with us and showed us to our table and take our Drinks order. I went for the soup but having the noodles out without a cover over made then dry together. The crusty bread was nice tho. The chicken Soup did taste good tho. The selection of food does have a range and the salt n chilli chips were great. The desserts were presentable but the cosco cake wins it was yummy. Overall price was fine as we were stuffed.

Popped into the jade Palace during the week great selection of dishes from your usual curry's to crispy seaweed food was nice fresh and hot like most buffets just help yourself we had soup cream of chicken and then various dishes from beef curry to the honey chicken 😍usual desserts small cakes fruit salad n icecream all in less than 35 for 2 with cpl soft drinks decent enough 😋

Ordered salt & chilli chicken wings via delivery. Looked & smelled decent, appetite gone soon as I bit in to the first wing! See pic attached. Googled why the meat is this colour. Says the chicken’s either been spoiled/past it’s best before date pre-cooking, or hasn’t reached the minimum internal temperature of 79C meaning it could contain salmonella or campylobacter! I’ve contacted Just Eat & will be referring the matter to Environmental Services @ SLC!

I am from Hong Kong and have recently relocated to Hamilton due to it being closer to my office. Having lived in Brussels, Kuala Lumpur & Toronto in the past 10 years, I always miss the food of my howntown. I must say this place is a huge surprise to me as I didn't eat the authentic Hong Kong food outside Hong Kong for a long time! I would very much recommend you the Curry Beef, the garlic broccoli, and Chicken Wings. Basically all food reminded me of the childhood years. The staffs are incredibly nice and efficient as well. Buffet like this for 20 pounds is simply impeccable. 100% recommend!

Me and my friends went for dinner and the rice was raw still hard chicken wings where raw pink and made my friend sick in the toilet as she describe the toilet smelling fishy chicken was also soggy prices are far to high for the food that is being severed but workers where amazing

Outstanding food and cheery service. Very low key but remarkable Chinese buffet restaurant. Not particularly expensive either and great selection of freshly prepared food despite a late arrival not long before closing time. Two thumbs up

There was 3 small bits of chicken in container, so couldn't get chicken curry and rice. Had to get a wee bit of this and that. So annoyed it cost us £43 odd with tea and a cola, will never be back 😒 😑

After some people saying it was worth a visit we went on Friday27.10 23. Well we were so disappointed,there was 3 little bits of chicken curry in the tray so i could not have that.I had to make do with other things although i went there for the chicken curry.So i ended up with a bit of this & that a glass of cola & a pot of tea,£43.So this was my first visit & i would definitely not go back again.

This used to be our favourite Chinese restaurant. However recently we went and found it not as good. We gave it a second chance, and it was worse. The chicken soup used to have plenty chicken in it this time a new batch was put out lacking the chicken. The curry sauce was watery compared to previous visits. I think it has been taken over my new management and has suffered. Many dishes were empty even the sauces. Very disappointed after being a regular over the past 6 years

First time going to the Jade Place and will definitely be returning. The food was excellent and I enjoyed the variety of Chinese dishes available. Service was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Give it a try.

Cold soggy or dried out food very little choice first time I have seen a 1cm thick slice of cake first and last time eating here will stick to motherwell buffet

I used to come to Jade Palace all of the time when I was at uni years ago but haven't been since covid. I looked up reviews before our trip this evening and was concerned to read that they had changed hands and gone downhill. I COMPLETELY DISAGREE! Food was fantastic as ever, service was great, they now have a card at the table where you can order dinner specials, chicken balls, garlic and chilli prawns, wontons etc, all things that you want to eat freshly cooked not off the buffet - and they were excellent. Fantastic addition and made our experience.

Terrible service food selection was shocking what was out was cold we ordered chicken balls for the table between 5 adults only got 6 between 5. Very poor.

There is very little food to choose from in the buffet and you have to tell them what you want, which wasn't delivered to us. Most containers were empty and contained boiled water, so it was clear they weren't being replenished, despite it being early evening. There were no vegetables at all except cherry tomatoes. We definitely won't be back. Nice staff, though.

Food is soggy and tasteless. Most dishes are empty. Mainly chicken only dishes that all have the same taste, maybe 2 beef options at the most. The only thing that was decent was the cream of chicken soup. The desserts were either dry or soggy. We had to order chicken balls to the tabke for us, they handed us a bowl with TWO small chicken balls. Ridiculous. £45 for a buffet for 2 people with 2 lemonades, such a waste of money. Please avoid and go somewhere else, would you get better tasting food in morrisons cafe.

Very little food to choose from, all dishes chicken and every differet one tasted the same. A lot of dishes were empty. There were 2 beef options. Everything tasteless and soggy. You had to request chicken balls, they brought a small bowl with 2 chicken balls when we asked for them to the table. The desserts were either soggy or dry. Only decent thing was the soup. Over priced. One of those meals that when you think back on it, it makes you feel sick.

Sadly the Jade has went down hill big time. The ingredients are of very poor quality now and a lot less of the dishes are freshly made. They used to have great big onion rings in batter but now it's breaded farm food specials. Afraid we won't be returning till it's back to what it was.

I wish I could give the food 4 and 3quarters as the food is fantastic even down to the prawns where in other all you can eat places are usually tasteless. The only reason Jade's ain't getting a perfect score is that they have a high percentage of chicken meals and dishes. They are all cooked to perfection but I would like to see more lamb dishes personally. The staff are so nice you just want to come back just to smile with them and ooooooooh the water they give you is cold to perfection.

Went today 2.45pm not sure why they where letting people in as most off the trays was empty , I know was really busy but for a buffet should be topping up regular as my partner never ate much as nothing there , Waste off money , don’t think I’ll be back ,

Lovely place, food great. Staff very nice

First time dining here on Saturday and glad we did. Went with myself, my adult daughter and my youngest daughter. Staff very friendly and attentive , plenty of food to choose from ,was worried after reading some reviews that there would be empty trays this was not the case at all, trays were kept full and replenished. Food was delicious and had chocolate fountain plus plenty of desserts to choose from. Very clean. Toilets spotless. Plates cleared fast. Recommend the ribs and honey chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. Both of my children eat a variety of food but for those with pickier eaters there is chicken nuggets and chips. Will be back once a month from now on and will be recommending to friends and family.

I went for lunch with my partner for the first time since it reopened . Food was great plenty to choose from .staff where very nice however did hover a bit waiting to take ur plate away.over all would recommend

Food and service both fantastic! Good selection and all fresh, only small portions served in the buffet so nothing sat too long. Very happy with our choice to eat where we did tonight, we’ll definitely be back.

1st time being since reopened. Wasn't overly impressed. Lot of food cold. A lot of dishes missing the main ingredient chicken, beef, prawns . Took time in replenishing. Not really organised ie main dishes not in same area. However glad I went back to try, but, won't be hurrying back.

£17 for a buffet with no prawns ,food was o.k. apart from that.

Great buffet and lovely atmosphere

The food was good plenty to choose from but only in small quantities so a good few of the choices were almost empty and didn't get refilled quickly enough so I could try them,also some of the special order menu wasn't available which was a bit disappointing.

Used to go here years ago and it was always a great restaurant. Nothing has changed. Went for lunch with with my wife and we were both (still) very impressed. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Service (for drinks) very quick and efficient. Place was spotlessly clean. Food was extremely fresh and piping hot, and incredibly tasty. All for the lowest price I’ve seen for a long time for a Chinese buffet. Don’t know why I’m seeing some recent negative reviews, this place is the best Chinese buffet for miles.

Food was amazing £17 for the buffet is a fair price staff were very nice and quick to clear the table of used plates only issue was the place was busy and we had to wait in the lobby for 20 mins which is understandable

I am just out of hospital after after a 24 hour fast before op and we went straight here for buffet... it was like the banquet hall of the gods, seriously, better than Cosmo, all of the food tastea freahly cooked, nothing too salty, proper flavours, meticulous and friendly staff, and the latte was the best I have ever had. WELL worth the price for the buffet for such a wide selection of delicious food, thanks so much for making my day!

Absolutely loved trying this quaint little place. It was fairly quiet when we first came in but as we were leaving there was people waiting for tables. The creamy chicken soup was absolutely beautiful. Normally I don't order soup at a buffet but after trying it, I can definitely say I'll be having more on my next visit. The food is really good especially the sweet and sour chicken. That took me by surprise. They also have an elite dessert collection including a very indulgent rich chocolate fudge cake that just hit the spot. The staff are very friendly and kind which made it easy to approach them. All in all I can't wait to return. Very pleased with service.
