Local chinese food takeaway, so it's handy but food is disgusting. Not like any chinese food if tried before. Awful Also waited hour and q half even tho in 5vmins drive away. Food stale , greasy and chips well undercooked as well as cold.

Not what it's made out to be, it's not any different from any other. I wouldn't go out my way to go to it.

Travelled tonight for a takeaway as was highly recommended Just chicken curry and fried rice How dissapointed was I the chicken was like rubber and totally not able to eat the full dinner went straight in the bin Having travelled around 15 miles found to be a total waste of time and money never again

One of my favourite takeaway restaurants. Food is always delicious. Ordered from here many times and I’ve never had a bad experience. Spicy Black bean is amazing. The kung po is another great offering.

Get Padi delivered. Absolutely delicious. Quickly became my favourite Asian restaurant along with its other Japanese restaurant Oishi. Next level 👌👌 the sushi rolls are incredibly tasty and fresh as it gets and had various different dishes and they taste what I imagine 100% authentic Asian cuisine would taste like in its country of origin. Highly recommended

Amazing food and great customer service, best Chinese in EK hands down!

Slow slow slow very slow - you might like the food but you won’t taste it cause by the time you get it you’ll be so hungry you won’t care if it’s good. Order, be told a time add almost an hour and hey you’ll be great oh and add for things not included in your order - good food terrible service - but it’s all good cause the staff automatically say “sorry for you wait” If you can’t provide the service don’t take the orders.

After seeing loads of people mention Padi on Tiktok we decided to try it, a bit further out from us but decided to try it due to the reviews. Our Order was Chicken Satay Spring Rolls - Starter Chicken Curry Chopped Large Fried Rice Prawn Crackers Total £20.40 Price was reasonable/average, but considering the amount of mentions we have saw about this place we were expecting exceptional quality food. The Satay Spring rolls were not all that tasty, yes, fresh and crispy but the flavouring inside was distinctively average. The Curry was really a mixture of dark and bright orange, nice cuts of chopped chicken, onions where cooked well but it was the taste it had almost sort of a powered taste. Had sliced deserted red chilli through it also first I’ve ever seen this. Fried Rice was really fresh can’t fault it. The Salt & Chilli Chips were actually a different colour of orange, tons of powered seasoning, spring onions, loads of fried crispy onions. If anything very over seasoned & really not nice for it. Sometimes simple is best. Prawn Crackers wasn’t the best standard just cheap average takeaway ones. I know lots of people don’t notice the difference but the thicker ones are far better quality and tasting. Wouldn’t recommend or return. Branding looks amazing, lovely designed menu, website & takeaway. Just not the food for me.

Awful Katsu curry. No authentic katsu sauce, instead generic gloopy curry sauce. Dehydrated, dry chicken. Salt and chilli chips, must have been refried 10 times and then covered in an entire jar of chilli flakes.

I’ve tried the Chop Suey and Foo Yung. It’s with mix vegetables and delicious sauce! I can say it’s definitely Asian flavored and quite authentic.(speaking from Asian) The lemon chicken, Korean one is more like fusion flavor, it’s too sweet for me, since we don’t really have this back home more like fusion sauce here. Sometimes the fried shredded beef/chicken is too dry, I highly recommend the char siu and normal beef (so tender), shrimp is huge also! The Tom Yum Soup is really really good! The wun ton is amazing also!!! I’m so glad we got this takeaway in East Kilbride! So happy especially the food is good quality, quite authentic with affordable prices! Thank you so much!

Food was ok nothing special was recommended to me mibi just dish i got but nothing amazing Waiting over a n hour to get food put a big red cross on it for me way to long to wait if ur going to pick up i beleive the delivey wait was 2 n half hours sak that

Best veg curry ever! A lot of takeaway establishments use frozen, tasteless veg but still charge a lot. My meal from Padi was sooo tasty and full of a variety of fresh veg. Definitely will be back to sample the rest of the menu.

Padi is our go to Chinese for take away. No other takeaway in East Kilbride meets their standard. We ordered chicken sweet n sour Cantonese style and special curry tonight. It was wonderful, delivered on time and have to say it was the best meal we’ve had from them so far. Thanks and keep up the excellent service and quality food 😀

One of the best take away resturants for quality in EK! So much so we had it for Christmas dinner this year instead of cooking. Slightly more expensive than others in the area but you get what you pay for in this instance. Food is delicious and the portions are a fair size. Two people can easily share one meal. Really recommend 👌

Really long wait for pick up was told an hour and give a time of 7.20 got it at 7.50, place was busy, food tasted amazing but the chicken was like rubber and tuff didn’t eat any chicken, would try again but nothing with chicken just awful.

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in East Kilbride and the best I have tried anywhere. Staff are very polite and friendly. The food is absolutely sensational. Everything I have tried has been great but a special mention has to go to the kung po king prawn.

first time using padi and i was very impressed. chicken curry and fried rice absolutely delicious will defo order again

Service and price was good however the food is pretty poor. Salt and chilli chips were over done and so was the salt and chilli chicken. The egg fried rice was all clumped together and had no flavour. The salt and chilli chicken was barely flavoured and the batter was like over cooked powered, which coated my mouth . Wouldn’t bother ordering from here , nothing worse than a disappointing dinner

My partner and I have used Padi since we moved to Jackton and have always been very satisfied but ordered a meal from there today 10/06/2022 and it was disgusting the spare ribs were burn and dry almost felt like we were eating yesterday's spare ribs the curry was very powdery and mine beef with green peppers and black bean sauce looked like half a portion did not expect this from padi but will be going back to my old takeaway from now on £33 wasted.

Best Asian food i have had in years. Definitely a cut above the norm. Give it a try you won't be disappointed

Rubbish. Very overpriced. I ordered salt and chilli chips in batter and they came with this horrible powder all over them & were not in batter. They went in the bin. I also find that it’s very dear for what you get. I think it’s about £4 or £5 for the pumpkin korokke and it’s absolutely minuscule and, bizarrely, comes with HP sauce, lol. I didn’t realise that HP sauce was Thai. It’s normally found on breakfast bacon rolls or as an accompanying condiment to a full English / Scottish breakfast; not in a so called Thai restaurant. Really bizarre !

Very good quality delicious Chinese food that is always good. Their satay is excellent as are their ribs, they also do an amazing honey pearl chilli chicken

I previously gave them 5 star as the food is good. I don't live in EK so only ever eat here when I'm at my mum's. Tonight we called at 6.25pm and got our delivery at 9.20pm best part of 3 hours when we were told between 1 to 1.5 hours. I certainly won't be suggesting we order from here the next time and to be frank there lucky to be getting 4 stars. Potatoes in the masaman were undercooked as they were clear just trying to get the order out the door having forgot about it and only prompted when we called to chase 1.40 minutes after the order.

Sala Thai was good, this place is amazing. Just finished off (between 2) salt chilli ribs, honey and chilli chicken, chicken chow mein. All that for £21 (discount for cash!). Everything was delicious but a special mention for the ribs which I build my takeaway around! Easily the best ribs I’ve had and a very generous portion. This place might not be for those looking for a litre of luminous red sweet and sour sauce on their chicken balls but each to their own. There’s some leftovers too for a mid movie snack later!!! Delicious Thank you, see you in a few Saturdays!

I'm giving them 5 stars for the food we order from them most weeks and delivery has always been spot on however only 3 🌟 for service as on Christmas eve we waited just under 3 hours for our food we were told it would be 1 hour to uplift and 1.5 for delivery and opted for that obviously we made the wrong decision when we called to chase it we were told the walk in was really busy so looks like they took preference to walk in service- so annoyed

We’ve had take out from Padi a few times since they opened, every time it has been really tasty. Thought I’d leave a review this time round as the food was just so good. There’s a couple reviews mentioning lack of sauce; yep, the sweet and sour HK style wasn’t swimming in sauce, but it was really tasty! I also have to give a shout to the Kiam Heung chicken, never had it before but the sauce was such and amazing flavour and the chicken was so tender! Will be back!

Heard about this place threw staff at the hospital near by hairmyres so gave it a try got the munchie box salt and chilli style and omg it's amazing the chips are so good. Ordered the same last night (Xmas eve) and done online (have done this before) got a update to say it's been Ordered but after phoning shop a hour or so to see where order is was told the online ordering wasn't working so re placed the order and was delivered pretty quick considering I'd been waiting since half 6 but this was a slight error on a technical issue not the restaurant. Will definitely be back for the munchie box but will phone this time or hope they partner with just eat in the future

Decided to change things up and order from Padi instead of our regular place a while back and we didn't regret it! Padi is our new favourite takeaway. The food has been excellent every single time we have ordered, both portion size and quality of the food make it worth the money every time. The staff are amazing, so polite and accommodating. Definitely recommend Padi to anyone who hasn't had the chance to try it yet, the menu has something to suit everyone and you won't be disappointed!!

I had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style food was lukewarm not enough sauce in it my husband had the house curry again lukewarm and too much mushrooms in it sadly don’t think we’ll be returning

Fabulous food, serving Thai, Malaysian and Chinese all together! We had Crispy Roast Duck, Thai Green curry and they allowed me to order a Tofu Massaman Curry even though a tofu option wasn't on the menu! Absolutely delicious and I'm having the left overs for lunch today too!!

We have ordered from here a good few times now & the food always exceeds our expectations! The menu has lots to offer & we have enjoyed exploring different dishes which are not available elsewhere. We would 100% recommend & this is definitely our go to when we want to treat ourselves after a hard week at work. The food is cooked to perfection! The service & delivery have always been impeccable too! Service with a smile, timely delivery & delicious food- what more could you want!

We’ve ordered a few times from here and every time I’m never disappointed. The Tom Yum soup is possibly the most authentic I’ve had in Scotland, the flavours are complex and just so moreish. I also love the roast duck with plum sauce… Not proud...

The portions are really small. They use very dinky containers, like what you’d use in one of those kids play kitchens. Very, very tiny. I ordered noodles and I was shocked to see the size they came in. Other takeaways, in fact, all in EK...

absolutely delicious, not one for leaving reviews, but felt this was warranted. I ordered Tom yum prawn won ton soup and a rendang curry, both delicious, very authentic and could tell all fresh ingredients and thia spices used. I've frequented many well established well known thai restaurants and I would say padi is absolutely up there with the best. will definitely order again. the girl on the phone is also very friendly in manner and lovely. food also came in under 20 mins, it was a Monday though, bit thot I'd mention this too.

Excellent food, friendly staff and very accommodating. Had a quick discussion, describing something that wasn't on the menu and the guys put it together for me. Meal was prepared quickly and tasted great. Definitely going back for more!

Beautiful food, fresh and very tadty

The fact that the owners of Oishii opened Padi made us order. The food was absolutely spot on. Picked it up 20 mins after the phonecall, everything was piping hot and tasty. The Korean fried chicken was crunchy n tender, the gyoza was comforting and delicious and my duck Sambal was tasty and moreish. Will be a regular here!

Pancake Spring Rolls filled with just Bean Sprouts, chicken fried rice was the worst I have every had just fried rice with chicken on top no thought or care went into making it felt cheap wont be back ever.

This is the 1st carry out from Padi. Very good fast service. I ordered Satay Skewer and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Complimentary Prawn crackers were included ,it was a nice carry out. The only thing I would say is perhaps Keep the Chicken Separate from the Delicious Sauce as it's nicer Crispy rather than absorbing the sauce. Many thanks Again.

Just finished my first but definately not my last order from Padi it was delicious. Sampled the Massaman curry (beef), Nanyang (chicken), chips, rice and curry sauce all of which were amazing.
