An absolutely tasty all you can eat that is a real a level above. Great food in abundance, amazing flavours and plenty of it. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, the service impeccable. A definite diamond in the rough.

Fantastic restaurant. Lively. Staff were so fun and friendly. The food was superb and properly presented. There was five of us and we had a sharing starter with honey ribs then onto crispy duck. Then into separate orders. All served and presented well. These people know how Chinese should be served. We're very quick despite it being v busy. The food was perfect. At £25 pp. It was such good value. We also took a newborn in pram and the staff were very helpful at helping to get pram in. Thank you so much. My son comes here alot and chose it for my bday meal while visiting him from Suffolk. He couldn't of chosen better. Thank you so much to the staff. It was a lovely place and great food and service.

Come here once a year for the last 12 years on visiting for thruxton circuit but noticed this year it has gone down a little bit to usual , food wasn't quite as good , a bit of an atmosphere in the air and a staff member being quite abrupt and we had an issue with a staff member a couple of years back to the point we walked out. This was always the place we looked forward to going upon our arrival on a friday but the group that go have decided no more now . Shame really we used to enjoy and spend a fortune in there.

I looked up best Chinese in Andover and this was the result. I ordered takeaway and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered Szechuan chicken and special fried rice with some satay chicken and prawn crackers Unfortunately, when we got at home, it looked like the attached picture. Chicken satay was okay and of course there was nothing wrong with the prawn crackers, but the Szechuan and special fried rice were little more than an anaemic chicken broth, absolutely no spice whatsoever and Pink chicken that looked like it was partially cooked but I think it was just coloured pink. Without doubt the worst Chinese I think I’ve ever eaten. I’m certainly glad that I didn’t buy for other people won’t be going there again. To be fair to them I have to admit that when I complained, I was offered a refund, but there was no consideration of the inconvenience and spoiled enjoyment when they quibbled over a portion of prawn crackers in terms of refund. I shall not be using it again.

Staff are pleasant, food was lovely and hot, very tasty too. £23.50 all you can eat, I left absolutely full, had to losen my jeans button haha.

First visit to this place... Immediately picked up the staff were stressed and unhappy.... Witnessed the manager shouting at the young girls serving who were trying their best... Then swore at one who was no more than 16/17 who he thought wasn't clearing a table quick enough.... Food OK... Atmosphere OK... Service OK.... Manager cockwipe

Came across this little gem and so glad we did such a amazing experience, very friendly and attentive without being overly, food all freshly cooked to order were allowed to try as many dishes as we wanted all fresh and hot and absolutely gorgeous our favourite were the spicy mussels and the seaweed was so lovely had it twice wish we had left space for a curry but will 💯 be back, the best lunch we have had out in ages throughly recommend.

A delicious all you can eat experience. The starters and shredded duck were absolutely amazing, everything was very tasty and the staff were super friendly. They kept checking on us if we needed anything else, and all was very reasonably priced at a set all you can eat price. Will be back again!

We didn't eat in because, we got there at 9.30pm. They closed at 10pm and quite rudely said we're closed.

We had a lovely evening with great food and really good service. I have lived in HK and China and the food is very genuine. We had quite a big meal and the bill was reasonable and sensible. Thank you all at the Golden Dragon and I wished we lived nearer.

Was told that they were closing in 30 minutes as we stepped in the door! Didn't feel that welcoming. The food was OK, though I've had better. Only had one course.

Visited this lovely restaurant on Sunday evening with my wife and son. This was our first visit and we found the staff very warm and friendly nothing was a problem. The food was so tasty and freshly cooked, all you can eat is a great way of trying different foods on the menu you may try something you’ve never tried before. Will be back again.

Outstanding food. Very friendly staff who allowed us time to eat and finish each course without interruptions. Fresh food, cooked to order. Very tasty and no grease at all. Was quite loud as lots of people in so, could only hear the music they were playing if you went to the loo!! Didn't spoil the atmosphere really.

This restaurant has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurant I've had the pleasure to dine at , very simple decor, not over complicated menu and a very good selection for everyones tatste ,offering very tasty food highly recommend having the smoked chicken, superb location for any celebrating occasion, or good out for a bite to eat in a new location like ourselves, they are open Tuesday to Sunday every week they DON'T OPEN on MONDAYS Please go ahead and find out for ourselves what a fantastic Chinese restaurant this really is. Catered for a medium size (10+) party with ease. The serving staff were quick Efficient and very friendly. The food was hot,fresh and tastes great. One slight disagreement on taste which was rectified and a new one brought out. Lots on the menu to choose from and over all a very nice experience

Absolutely the worst chinese i have been to. Unfortunately hadn't realised Tycoon was shut so decided to try this one as it was my son's birthday. Only people in there and still hard to get the staffs attention! Served chicken on a vegetarian starter! Second course veggie was bland. Main course veggie was the same for both dishes even though szechaun sauce is red and spicy!! Ribs were disgusting...hard and tasteless. Got 10% discount for the mistake but so not worth it. Perhaps we had an off day as some good reviews???

Really poor experience, the service was diabolical, we booked a table for 4 people. We were completely rushed from the minute we sat down, wasnt even given the chance to look at drinks menu, glassss were being taken before empty and plates were being taken whilst eating food of them. We understand they were busy but still need to look after customers correctly

Lovely restaurant, amazing staff, great food. We ate in but they gave us a box to take the leftovers home which was brilliant as neither me or my daughter are big eaters. A lovely place to come for a special meal.

Beautiful food, Porton sizes just right friendly and attentive staff

Service was relatively fast, food was of good quality and spacious seating. Sat in for buffet style - atmospheric music was a tad loud so surrounding tables chatting louder and the staff didn't really seem as though they wanted to be there. Overall decent experience but will probably stick to ordering takeout instead.

I just love this restaurant. It is very clean and staff.brilliant. I always get the buffet it is to die for you can have as much as you like. Food is fresh and fantastic. You must try this restaurant

Stumbled upon this by chance with my wife. Amazing food could not fault one dish. Felt abit but rushed at times but the staff where helpful and good. Will be going back.

The Golden Dragon has excellent customer service: fast paced, attentive and accommodating. The food is great, with a nice variety and a good selection of drinks too.

Disappointed with the Golden Dragon last night. Been using them for a long time but last night was not good. The kid answering the phone had to be told the post code 3 times and still kept giving the wrong address. We were told an hour to an hour 15 for delivery, phoned them after an hour and a half and they didn't recognise the address again at first and weren't very polite. After 2 hours the food finally arrived. It was just about warm enough and the squid was hard and tasteless. I'll be thinking twice before going there again which is a shame as we've always found them really good.

Big que for takeaway, but other shops were shut and near new year, I'm not surprised really. Still Proper nice food,.

After waiting an hour for our food, it was well worth the wait, very nice. 👍 Managar was a bit rude and untrusting towards his own staff and a few customers, who like us, was waiting for an hour.

Always great service and great food. The restaurant is buffet only and amazing, just order what you want and they'll cook it fresh and bring out. Nothing is too much, they really offer fantastic service. Recommend lunchtimes at the weekend as it's quieter. My favourite Chinese for eat in or take away, whether in Andover or just in general. Food is very clean, tasty and just how I like it.

Horrendous meal....decided to try for the 1st time tonight (takeaway) and would not go back. Sweet & sour king prawns were very vinegary, crispy chill beef was soggy and had a fishy undertone, noodles were under cooked and last but not least the ribs had no flavour and came in jellyfied sauce@

Based on last three picK ups.....don't pay online or you will be the last person served.....ask them to get your food from the kitchen before you pay.......that way when you threaten to walk out after waiting an hour at home and then forty minutes in the shop they do something about it ......other than keep on taking phone orders.......but the food is good

Possibly the worst Chinese I have had, waited nearly two hours for our order to be delivered when I phoned staff was rude and put the phone down on me, we recieved over cooked cold food and most the order was missing trying to get hold of the restaurant to tell them and get a refund but it’s constantly been engaged

Amazing food, fast service & very polite

I'm always full up after the starters. Then extra full up after the duck. I never know how I manage to eat a main but I always squeeze it in. It's all you can eat but maybe it should be called more than you're suppose to eat. Anyway the manager in here like the rest of the rest staff are great!

Take away meal. Absolutely great staff and service. Ordered a meal early today for collection at 1720hrs. So accommodating and friendly. I can't praise the staff highly enough. The food was great as usual. It is our go to Chinese restaurant in Andover fir take away and eating in. I would recommend it to anybody.

I ordered a takeaway tonight shockingly bad 2hrs 20 minutes for delivery stone cold and when tryna call the driver back realised he was off away faster than usain bolt phoned 4624 times to betold my dinner was on route 45 minutes later and after driving round every square inch of andover it arrived incomplete and freezing conjealed bbq sauce vile vile vile!!!! Definetly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Took forty minutes to get starters, very rude manager who treated staff horribly. The atmosphere was very busy. And on top of that the bill was outstandingly high considering how little the portions were. The waitresses were lovely and food was okay but would never go back.

Loads of flies kept attacking us.

Great food but service was not great, waitress hardly said a single word to us the whole time we were there, didn't introduce herself, just took our order and walked away, gentleman there was nice and spoke to us a fair bit also interacted with our children but the waitress let this place down.
