Best restaurant i’ve ever been to, perfect dine in experience . 10/10 recommend.

Staff are pleasant, food was lovely and hot, very tasty too. £23.50 all you can eat, I left absolutely full, had to losen my jeans button haha.

First visit to this place... Immediately picked up the staff were stressed and unhappy.... Witnessed the manager shouting at the young girls serving who were trying their best... Then swore at one who was no more than 16/17 who he thought wasn't clearing a table quick enough.... Food OK... Atmosphere OK... Service OK.... Manager cockwipe

Just ok would not go again. Manager needs to get out of his trackies and dirt cap

Great food and great value for money

A delicious all you can eat experience. The starters and shredded duck were absolutely amazing, everything was very tasty and the staff were super friendly. They kept checking on us if we needed anything else, and all was very reasonably priced at a set all you can eat price. Will be back again!

We didn't eat in because, we got there at 9.30pm. They closed at 10pm and quite rudely said we're closed.

Was told that they were closing in 30 minutes as we stepped in the door! Didn't feel that welcoming. The food was OK, though I've had better. Only had one course.

The food was excellent with incredible flavours. The staff exceeded our expectations, and value for money was amazing.

Outstanding food. Very friendly staff who allowed us time to eat and finish each course without interruptions. Fresh food, cooked to order. Very tasty and no grease at all. Was quite loud as lots of people in so, could only hear the music they were playing if you went to the loo!! Didn't spoil the atmosphere really.

This restaurant has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurant I've had the pleasure to dine at , very simple decor, not over complicated menu and a very good selection for everyones tatste ,offering very tasty food highly recommend having the smoked chicken, superb location for any celebrating occasion, or good out for a bite to eat in a new location like ourselves, they are open Tuesday to Sunday every week they DON'T OPEN on MONDAYS Please go ahead and find out for ourselves what a fantastic Chinese restaurant this really is. No idea where all these amazing reviews have come from. But if ordering for delivery, order in early afternoon if you want it by a reasonable evening dinner time and not 10pm Also never been to a Chinese that doesn’t give free prawn crackers (when spending over £50) what the hells up with that?

Catered for a medium size (10+) party with ease. The serving staff were quick Efficient and very friendly. The food was hot,fresh and tastes great. One slight disagreement on taste which was rectified and a new one brought out. Lots on the menu to choose from and over all a very nice experience

Absolutely the worst chinese i have been to. Unfortunately hadn't realised Tycoon was shut so decided to try this one as it was my son's birthday. Only people in there and still hard to get the staffs attention! Served chicken on a vegetarian starter! Second course veggie was bland. Main course veggie was the same for both dishes even though szechaun sauce is red and spicy!! Ribs were disgusting...hard and tasteless. Got 10% discount for the mistake but so not worth it. Perhaps we had an off day as some good reviews???

Really poor experience, the service was diabolical, we booked a table for 4 people. We were completely rushed from the minute we sat down, wasnt even given the chance to look at drinks menu, glassss were being taken before empty and plates were being taken whilst eating food of them. We understand they were busy but still need to look after customers correctly

Had a very nice evening out with our friends, food and service was excellent 👌! Quick, efficient service throughout, good value for money. All you can eat for 6 persons with plenty of beers!

Food has always been good but thd owner needs to treat his staff with more respect, plus he tends to rush you to order and eat up, can be quite rude. Poor customer service.

Lovely restaurant, amazing staff, great food. We ate in but they gave us a box to take the leftovers home which was brilliant as neither me or my daughter are big eaters. A lovely place to come for a special meal.

Service was relatively fast, food was of good quality and spacious seating. Sat in for buffet style - atmospheric music was a tad loud so surrounding tables chatting louder and the staff didn't really seem as though they wanted to be there. Overall decent experience but will probably stick to ordering takeout instead.

I just love this restaurant. It is very clean and staff.brilliant. I always get the buffet it is to die for you can have as much as you like. Food is fresh and fantastic. You must try this restaurant

Stumbled upon this by chance with my wife. Amazing food could not fault one dish. Felt abit but rushed at times but the staff where helpful and good. Will be going back.

The Golden Dragon has excellent customer service: fast paced, attentive and accommodating. The food is great, with a nice variety and a good selection of drinks too.

Definitely covid safe. The order process felt a little strange, but it is a really good idea. The food is great, good portions and with a fresh taste.

Disappointed with the Golden Dragon last night. Been using them for a long time but last night was not good. The kid answering the phone had to be told the post code 3 times and still kept giving the wrong address. We were told an hour to an hour 15 for delivery, phoned them after an hour and a half and they didn't recognise the address again at first and weren't very polite. After 2 hours the food finally arrived. It was just about warm enough and the squid was hard and tasteless. I'll be thinking twice before going there again which is a shame as we've always found them really good.

Big que for takeaway, but other shops were shut and near new year, I'm not surprised really. Still Proper nice food,.

After waiting an hour for our food, it was well worth the wait, very nice. 👍 Managar was a bit rude and untrusting towards his own staff and a few customers, who like us, was waiting for an hour.

Always great service and great food. The restaurant is buffet only and amazing, just order what you want and they'll cook it fresh and bring out. Nothing is too much, they really offer fantastic service. Recommend lunchtimes at the weekend as it's quieter. My favourite Chinese for eat in or take away, whether in Andover or just in general. Food is very clean, tasty and just how I like it.

Horrendous meal....decided to try for the 1st time tonight (takeaway) and would not go back. Sweet & sour king prawns were very vinegary, crispy chill beef was soggy and had a fishy undertone, noodles were under cooked and last but not least the ribs had no flavour and came in jellyfied sauce@

Based on last three picK ups.....don't pay online or you will be the last person served.....ask them to get your food from the kitchen before you pay.......that way when you threaten to walk out after waiting an hour at home and then forty minutes in the shop they do something about it ......other than keep on taking phone orders.......but the food is good

Possibly the worst Chinese I have had, waited nearly two hours for our order to be delivered when I phoned staff was rude and put the phone down on me, we recieved over cooked cold food and most the order was missing trying to get hold of the restaurant to tell them and get a refund but it’s constantly been engaged

Menu did not say it was buffet so no prices on it we were very confused. Food was good but had to wait some time for my daughters food and we were almost done with ours. Overall OK

Amazing food, fast service & very polite

I'm always full up after the starters. Then extra full up after the duck. I never know how I manage to eat a main but I always squeeze it in. It's all you can eat but maybe it should be called more than you're suppose to eat. Anyway the manager in here like the rest of the rest staff are great!

Take away meal. Absolutely great staff and service. Ordered a meal early today for collection at 1720hrs. So accommodating and friendly. I can't praise the staff highly enough. The food was great as usual. It is our go to Chinese restaurant in Andover fir take away and eating in. I would recommend it to anybody.

Visiting Andover i fancied a takeaway...called Golden Dragon was met with a friendly welcome..expkained i was in a truck ...no problem he said...30-45min delivery time..arrived within that time..tasty food...great service....will be using them again...thank you Paul (FLV)

I ordered a takeaway tonight shockingly bad 2hrs 20 minutes for delivery stone cold and when tryna call the driver back realised he was off away faster than usain bolt phoned 4624 times to betold my dinner was on route 45 minutes later and after driving round every square inch of andover it arrived incomplete and freezing conjealed bbq sauce vile vile vile!!!! Definetly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Took forty minutes to get starters, very rude manager who treated staff horribly. The atmosphere was very busy. And on top of that the bill was outstandingly high considering how little the portions were. The waitresses were lovely and food was okay but would never go back.

Loads of flies kept attacking us.

Great food but service was not great, waitress hardly said a single word to us the whole time we were there, didn't introduce herself, just took our order and walked away, gentleman there was nice and spoke to us a fair bit also interacted with our children but the waitress let this place down.

Serious concerns about this restaurant service and standard. My last night experience was extremely poor and concerning. The lady was serving us was extremely rude. Missing food but didn’t even said sorry. Bang the food on the table left without looking back. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 mins for our main course. The food quality was average nothing exciting. I would never go back to this restaurant.

Always happy staff, great to see them when you go in. The food is good too, really impressed with the portion sizes and the overall choice (my favourite being the chow mein dishes!) Reliable, always the takeaway chosen when people come round

Been living in Andover for a couple of years now. We have tried most of the Chinese restaurants/take aways in the area. We always come back to this one. Food always good, speedy service too. If you want a take away and you should support your local businesses in these unusual times, why not try a take away from here. You wont regret it!

Lovely hot food and plenty of it although was on a table for 2 right by the looks so kept getting a draft as door opened. Staff friendly. Would come again

My experience could have been much worse but being gluten and lactose free by choice i can see this being a big problem to someone who genuinely has an intolerance. As soon as we were seated i asked if there was a separate menu for gluten and lactose free. The lady looked at me confused and said no which i said okay to as most places don't offer a separate menu. My next question was if they had an allergens list or if she could offer anything and she again said no which i then questioned as surely they need to have an allergens list and even at the front of the restaurant there is a poster asking to speak to a member of staff if you have allergies. She then listed a few dishes that they offer but none of them were gluten or lactose free, she asked if i wanted prawn toast? or salt and pepper chicken? i ordered some plain ribs in the end and then asked to speak with someone in charge. The man i spoke with again had no idea about allergens and said the manager is on holiday and he is the only one who knows about allergens. The food i had was good albeit just plain ribs and egg fried rice. The staff do need extra training on allergens and customer service as we also felt they were quite rude (pointing, sighing and tutting).

Intimate is the word for our comfortable arrival and this place connected to the town and people in Andover. Very knowledgeable about feelings in events in the year with good food to enjoy. They are greatly vibrant and full of new menues to pass around not vegan and traditional.
