Tues eve at gellifawr for an evening meal. Very limited choice but thankfully neither of us are fussy. We asked why there wasn't no music on and apparently speaker wasn't working which made things very quiet and awkward. The waiter was great, isaac, no faults at all, felt sorry for him if I'm honest. He offered us drinks, no lager :/. The meal then was very disappointing. Very greasy and small portions, no flavour. Tonight's bill was 47.. Last night's at a nearby pub was 26... No comparison. Last night's was 10x better. Very disapointed. 3/10

Spotted this fish and chips bar on trip advisor last Thursday and thought we would give it a go. We arrived 15 minutes before closing but the gentlemen was absolutely brilliant. We got chatting about knowing people from the Forest of Dean whilst the food was cooked fresh and was completely delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Burry Port area.

Family pre-Christmas dinner, we all had a lovely time. All of the food was freshly made and cooked to perfection. The team were friendly and attentive.

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.

ordered a breakfast for take out. Bacon was tough and dry.Black pudding overdone, crunchy and hard. Dont like chips on a breakfast, such a waste, maybe offer fried potatoes or something else. Asked for half and half for the beans and tomatoes and recieved 1 plum tomatoe on its own. Thats not half! Fair to say its expensive for what it is and I wont be purchasing here again. Such a let down.

Had an amazing lunch for a special celebration and the staff were so welcoming. Delicious pizzas and very dog friendly. Visited the upstairs gallery adjacent to the restaurant which sold unique and well crafted items. Both venues well worth a visit.

This was our second visit to this superb Restaurant,we had previously been there for a Sunday Lunch. We went as a family for dinner. As before the food was first class. The service was so very good. The dinning room has a very comfortable feel to it and leads to a very relaxed atmosphere. We all left with a determination to return when we can.

Nice beer and friendly owner/staff. Dog friendly. Stopped doing food earlier this year due to the drop in business over covid. A shame. May start again but unsure.

We stayed here in The Old Chapel cottage from 23rd - 27th Dec, just arrived home in fact. What can I say? From arrival to departure it was an absolute treat!! On arrival the key was in the door & we unpacked & settled in nicely. The cottage was extremely clean & well furnished with a comfortable bed/mattress, comfortable seating & a small dining table. There's a lovely log burner for those who know how to get the best out of them, we didn't have much luck with it but that was down to us & not the burner. Kindling, logs & matches were provided. We also found a nice welcome gift of lager, wine & mince pies plus a well filled hospitality tray to start us off. The site was very quiet, perhaps because it's Christmas week, but very well kept, immaculate in fact. The clubhouse was open on Christmas Eve so we popped in for a drink & found the hosts & some locals to be very welcoming. On departure we left the cottage clean & tidy & returned the key to the door as found. We did however meet a staff member as we left who was very nice to speak to, as was Jess, the owner of the cottages, when we met her on Christmas Eve. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, we'll certainly be back again.

We are in a Sunday lunch club. Sadly this was the least inspiring meal yet. Meat was good, but the veg was soooo over cooked.

Went here for lunch but so wish we hadn't!! it's obviously changed hands from reviews a few months ago. Terrible service awful food and not even any labels saying what anything was or prices!! The customers that were there kept going up to the counter to ask for basic things such as a teaspoon, ketchup etc. Wasn't asked if we wanted brown or white bread with our choices until I asked!! Total waste of my hard earned money!!
