Four Seasons Cafe & Shop in Carmarthenshire

Light lunch on a wet Saturday. Limited menu but ideal for lunch. I had salmon open sandwich. Delicious beautifully cooked. Husband had Chicken and mushrooms with potatoes and broccoli, equally tasty Cakes looked lovely. Good value for money. Quiet , warm near woodburner. Goo

We were so happy we stopped here, not knowing exactly what was offered. The coffees and homemade scones were delicious, the staff very friendly and the view on the hillsides was just perfect.

Visited with FGMN club .Very warm welcome and we were served with delicious sandwiches cakes and copious amounts of tea or coffee.

Access could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Food average - surroundings OK Service was quite good and fairly rapid, no complaints on that score.

We go the Four Seasons periodically. There is always a warm welcome from Emma and Stuart . We know that everything is home made , and Emma will do her best to accommodate if there is any meal you would like “to adapt “ to your taste . Today , my husband and I had the Cottage Pie . Absolutely delicious . Very tasty . For pudding which we really didn’t need , I had the crumble with custard, lovely , and my husband the pear and almond tart , which he has always said over the years is the best he has ever tasted . We only ate breakfast here...couldn't have been better! Emma even bakes the bread herself. The eggs are so tasty and fresh and perfectly cooked thick cut bacon.

Had my birthday lunch again at this wonderful and reasonable priced restaurant.Emma is a great and imagative chef and her blackberry and chocolate cake is the best we ever tasted.Always a warm and cheerful welcome from both Emma and Stuart.

We had a lovely well cooked lunch of beef in red wine garlic potatoes and fine beans in lovely relaxed surroundings . The home made sweets and cakes looked really inviting too , We will be back soon to try them for afternoon tea :))

We stayed one night while touring South Wales. The room was lovely with separate sitting area. Rooms very clean and the bed comfortable. The owners were friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent (eaten overlooking a wonderful view of hills and sheep). Lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

Having been welcomed by Stuart at the Leisure Club, my wife and I had an enjoyable swim in the pool. We then ventured over to the adjoining cafe where we were able to relax with coffee and the most scrummy homemade cakes baked by Emma. A most agreeable morning in pleasant surroundings.

Our orchestra / band were catered for lunch. The food and service was awesome. A good choice of home cooked food. The quiche was awesome.

Met up for a ladies lunch - it was very quiet but received with friendly greetings and made comfortable. Nice range of homemade food, served well and reasonable prices. Can recommend.

Just off the A 40 is a little gem of a restaurant . Popped in for an impromptu lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed Home made vegetable soup with chunks of bread made on the premises then gorgeous coffee and carrot and lemon cake which was even gluten free. Lovely welcome thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in such unique surroundings

Great Location. Good food. Would have preferred Welsh cakes and bara brith instead of more the exotic food on offer. Very friendly with slate floor.

Good deli range, fresh preduce, good selection of quality wines and cheeses, unusually varied for this rural area

Had a light lunch at Four Seasons today which was a delight.Freshly prepaired with high quality ingredients.The bread and cakes are all baked on the premises by the owner and are Excellant.The grape and almond tart is definately worth a try.The owners also serve and are very accommodating and friendly,creating a very relaxed atmosphereIf you want to catch up with friends for a leasurely couple of hours I would highly recommend it.

called on the off chance late in the afternoon hoping this cafe would be open, and to our delight it was. had a lovely welcome from the owners who were more than happy to serve us even though it was nearing closing time. they'd had a busy day so were apologetic about the lower than normal choice of cake, but we both settled on a lovely looking white chocolate and strawberry sponge- it was delicious, moist and plenty of it. the venue was delightful, the sun room nice and warm with beautiful views, the cafe tastefully decorated in shabby chic/ vintage style with a lovely open plan features. price was reasonable, around the £10 mark for 2 slabs of cake and a drink each. would highly recommend a visit, a lovely welcome awaits and lovelylooking cakes to choose from! yummy!

Lovely friendly host. Excellent food and reasonably priced. One of those no rush delights. Not sure what to expect when we arrived but were pleasantly surprised. A must visit cafe for lunch.

This is a lovely, individual restaurant/ coffee shop.The coffee is excellent, the food is exceptional. The cakes are freshly made by the owner and there is always something new to try. Lunches are light and tasty with delicious homemade bread. This is a fantastic place to meet friends for coffee or lunch- good value and pleasant surroundings. I've been several times and keep going back- there are just so many more cakes to try!!!!!

My husband and I just popped in to this lovely place on the hop. I had the spicy chorizo bean casserole and my husband a bowl of soup and a toasted sandwich . They were very tasty. Although it happened to be quiet during our visit , the ambience was still excellent, and staff very attentive. Unfortunately we were too full to sample their delicious home made cakes. Maybe next time !!

The afternoon tea is a real treat- everything is home made including the bread and the quality of ingredients first class.Don't bother going to other over priced establishments offering poor substitutes, for a warm welcome and amazing food the Four Seasons can't be beaten.We will be back, thank you

Enjoyed my lunch at the Four Seasons Cafe, it was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Good selection of food and I would recommend the strawberry and white chocolate cake- although all the cake is homemade and delicious! Will be back again.

Delicious homemade food. Vegetable soup and spinach & blue cheese pie followed by white chocolate & raspberry gateau and orange & almond cake. Great food, great service. Couldn't fault it 10/10

Just had the Summer Vegetables and Goats Cheese Pie - it was mouthwatering. The tastiest lunch I have had in many months. The dessert was Grape & Almond Tart with Ice Cream - again faultless. A true gem of a cafe.

Had a lovely afternoon tea , cakes to die for. A wonderful find for me, somewhere to have a coffee, lunch or tea with my dog, the staff are very friendly. Pets are welcome on the balcony patio. Not many places in Carmarthen welcome pets.

I don't think there is anything bad I can say about this amazing restaurant! The food was delicious and good value for money! I didn't think the portions were that big but after eating I was stuffed! I have been here again since and the atmosphere is amazing, I cant remember what drink I had, I think it was a flavoured lemonade but that is worth trying if you go there! The only problem was the parking, make sure you don't park in any of the pot holes is the best advice I can give.

Went to the four seasons for lunch and afternoon tea!was delighted at the surroundings perfectly idealic!were astounded at the vast array of home cooked and home baked food on offer and was pleased that all produce was locally supplied!although living within 30 miles of the restaraunt I'm thinking of booking into the holiday cottage they have for a short stay as they look lovely and nantgareddig has a lot of charm as this place does also

Went there for a tea party, plenty of fresh sandwiches which you couldn't fault. My wife and I decided to return for a snack a week later, the homemade scones were delicious.It's a hidden Gem on our doorstep.

We've been here before and made a detour to do so again. Sadly, it was not as we remembered. The ambience was fine but, sadly, the food is overpriced and of mixed quality. There is nothing inherently bad here, but we won't be going out of our way to visit again.

Visited the cafe again last week,and as always we received a warm welcome from Emma and Stewart.The food was lovely.I had a bacon sandwich,which wasvery tasty,lots of bacon onhome made bread,served with salad and crisps.The other two members of my family had quiche,served with new potatoes and salad,and it was lovely.E did not have a sweet,but there is plenty to choose from.The sweets and cakes,all homemade are to.die.for.If looking for somewhere for a nice meal during the day,this is the place to visit.Give it a go,you wont be dissapointed.

We spent a week in South Wales, staying between Llanelli and Carmarthen and really struggled to find anywhere nice to eat. We happened upon this cafe by chance and rushed in for a meal. Fabulous, home made food. Really delicious bread (also home made) and lovely friendly service. The cafe itself was pretty, very clean and nicely decorated.I cannot recommend this cafe enough.

We visited this coffee shop last week.Good food,lovely atmosphere.very friendly staff........we enjoyed a lot.we will return.

Dropped in for a birthday lunch, myself and hubby, his treat! Had a bacon ciabatta, bacon cooked to perfection, hubby had cheese and ham toasty, very tasty with bottle of magic lager, also very tasty, interesting flavour.we rounded off with coffee, very enjoyable birthday treat, will go again .

Found this lovely place literally by accident and so glad we did. The cafe is welcoming, spacious and the owners very accommodating. The food was excellent with my friend commenting that it was the best goats cheese salad she had ever had. We are not local but if we were we would DEFINITELY make this a regular go to place to eat. Well worth checking it out :)

Maybe the best chocolate brownie ever in a nice converted farm house. Gereat Breakfast as well with lots of local produce.

Food has improved with the new owners also there is a cleanliness that wasn't there before Food is always excellent varied and most definitely cooked on the premises.I would certainly go out of my way to visit and has become a regular 'heaven' for us and visiting friends .

Have visited this cafe a few times, and what can I say, it is wonder full.All the food served is homemade,and the sweets are to die for, Emma does an excellent job.They serve an excellent Sunday lunch, with a choice of menu.In the cafe there is a gift shop,they also sell wines,beer and ciders,.If you are in the Carmarthen area,I would reccomend a visit to this cafe,in my opinion the best for miles!

Just happened to drop in when looking at the local gym, and discovered a nice place to while away a short break over tea and cakes.Actually had a brunch which was tasty and well priced.I will go there again, and would recommend that you drop in if passing

What a great find! Fabulous peaceful and relaxing location and lovely home cooked food. I had the Super Salad, which really was super and didn't compromise my diet! The chocolate brownie and ice-cream was also superb but there were so many delicious things to choose from on the menu that I'll definitely have to visit again.

Been here several times now, from coffee and cake to lunch. Menu changes daily, lovely homecooked food and yummy cakes and the best coffee for miles. Lovely surroundings, clean and staff are very friendly. If you are in the area this café is a must.

Been here twice with my little girl who's now 8 weeks old. They are so friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit. Super reasonable prices for delicious homemade food. Menu changes daily and is all homemade delicious food. The cakes are AMAZING and again all homemade.The staff are really friendly and enthusiastic and very accommodating.Highly recommended place, cleaner, tidier and less pretentious than the previous cafe that was there.They also do very reasonably priced homemade Sunday lunch although I've yet to sample it :-( They really deserve to climb the trip advisor ladder, a real gem in Carmarthen!

I had a very lovely BLT that was built upon freshly made bread and boy it was tasty. Followed this with a gorgeous cake and all washed down with two cups of lovely coffee. Like the bread the cakes are freshly made on the premises and change day to day so there is always something new to indulge in. The setting is lovely and peaceful and you are made to feel very welcome. The other bonus is that you can also purchase a few things while you are there such as a cheeky bottle of wine or beer for later. If you like your food and you are visiting or live in Carmarthen, then this place should definitely be on your list.

This is our second visit to this lovely café. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the whole premises fresh and clean. The main event, the food, is wonderful and freshly prepared - I had a wonderful salad and my husband had a chicken, mushroom and potato pie, which he said is one of the best he's ever eaten! There's a good selection of delicious homemade cakes too. Would be a lovely place to enjoy a gorgeous cream tea in the coming summer months! The owners and staff are very welcoming and we thoroughly recommend a visit.

My friends and I have been here several times for an afternoon coffee and chat. Unfortunately for our diets the cake selection is amazing. Excellent coffee selection and the cake selection changes daily, so many cakes, so little time!

This lovely cafe is more like an olde worlds tea shop, with its shabby chic furniture, and china cups and saucers. I have eaten a few times at lunchtime and the menu is varied, with freshly cooked food at a reasonable price. Emma's homemade cakes are very tempting...they are delicious. She also provides a takeaway service.Very well worth visiting.

Lovely selection of salads with a light and delicious quiche . Well worth visiting
