Excellent Food and Service. We booked here for a birthday meal and could not have been more satisfied! The food was outstanding (especially the cheese soufflé) and the staff were fabulous too. Prices reasonable with a well stocked bar. We will definitely be back soon! Thanks for a lovely evening!

Set in the small village of Five Roads, a couple of miles from Llanelli. A delightful venue with plenty of space. A couple of settees for chatting and drinks whilst awaiting a table. It has a smart, relaxing feel being dog friendly in the bar area. The staff are very friendly and the food is delightful. The venue also had a small Caravan/mobile home, facility to the rear.

We have visited The Waun Wyllt frequently over the last few years. We have always had fantastic service, a lovely welcome, a gorgeous environment inside and out - and the food is better than anywhere else locally.l - that I’ve been. We have been to food themed evenings, two Beaujolais evenings, Sunday lunches, afternoon tea, breakfasts l, bbqs, day meals- all outstanding. My only criticism is that they aren’t open 7 days a week 🤣🤣🤣

We booked a table for four for a repeat Sunday Lunch visit. This time we had a table at the bar and even though there was a higher level of people traffic it did not spoil the atmosphere or the dining experience. The Sunday lunch was again of a very high standard and the service was excellent. An enjoyable repeat visit.

After two or three previous attempts,we finally got to visit The Waunwyllt and had two excellent meals. On the saturday night my wife started with Chorizo croquettes and I chose the rissoles,both of which we enjoyed. We both decided on the Lamb rump for our main courses,beautifully cooked and presented accompanied by a very nice bottle of Rioja. We decided to have Sunday lunch next day. Again,very tasty and well presented (Beef and Turkey option) and beautifully cooked selection of vegetables. We had a bottle of 'house' Merlot which was also very nice. For desert my wife chose a lovely Apple Crumble and I a Lemon Cheesecake. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Erin and Holly were our main contacts on the saturday and sunday meals,as well as Nathan,who I would say was a newer member of the team,but did well when we asked for anything we needed. Finally,a special mention for Lewis,who I think is a very talented barman. I look forward to another 'warmed' Brandy when we return,which we definitely will in the future.Well done to all concerned.

Ate here for an evening meal while staying in the nearby area. Myself and my partner both had 3 courses and every one was delicious! Service was wonderful, the staff were really friendly and food was served really quickly! Food was piping hot and delicious! Lots of choice on 3 x menus (classic, a la carte & an Italian menu). Restaurant/bar itself was really cosy and decorated well. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Having held our wedding function at the Waun Wyllt we were overwhelmed by the attention to detail that Michelle, Liam and all the wonderful staff had. From the moment we made our first enquiry we felt reassured that our day would be perfect. The organisation, venue , food and accommodation was just superb! Having been to many weddings within the area, this is without doubt the best we have been too. Perfect for the smaller wedding, delicious home cooked food and the staff are just amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Amazing !!!!!!! Breakfast was lovely too.

We had our wedding party at the Waun Wyllt and it was absolutely perfect. From the first enquiry to the wedding day itself, Michelle handled everything and made the whole experience stress free. The venue is welcoming and has a relaxed cosy vibe, the staff are all friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure our guests were having a lovely time. We had a hot buffet, with both vegetarian and vegan options available. Both these options went down extremely well with the guests who told me how impressed they were with the food, especially chefs sesame sausages! We can't thank Michelle and her team enough, it was fantastic and a fun time was had by all!

Excellent Sunday lunch the best I’ve had! We came for Mother’s Day as a family of 6, we’d been before and we’re not disappointed. It’s by far our favourite restaurant. The food was outstanding, the service was perfect, the staff were all really lovely, thank you for a lovely day we can’t wait to come back for tapas!

Took a flyer on this place as the pub we were going to go too was full. So glad we did. Recently decorated inside to have that gastro pub feel. You could happily put your glad rags on and go for a special meal. Menu was very good as was the wine. Some standard pub grub but also an extensive menu of more adventurous food, which we went for and was not disappointed. Great staff who made sure the service was spot on. They also accept dogs in the bar area. I don't understand why it wasn't busier than it was. It's easy to get to and should be rammed every night. Maybe we were just lucky.

The Waunwyllt is our new favourite place to eat! The beef was tender, fresh veg, the best mashed swede, crispy roasties and proper homemade Yorkshire puddings!
