Had an amazing holiday. We stayed in the haybarn and the cottage was so much cosier and bigger than I thought from the pictures. Lovely beaches and everyone was so friendly. Big thanks to Jess and Dai for making us feel so welcome.

Surrounded with stunning views of the coast and colourful seaside towns. It's a great place to come take your family away to see the best parts of West Wales. I stayed with some friends in a caravan and we had such a great time. The caravan was nice and clean, with a small swimming pool and park close by which was great for the kids.

An honest review - Site is run down, pool is not heated, the owners of the place are not actually running a business; they are just having a holiday themselves and the reception is always empty. We had an issue and the owner swore at children, swore at customers, it wasn’t a great experience. We actually left a day early! Caravans are run down, need a good clean - dust hanging from ceilings and it is obvious owners don’t care as long as they have your money. I would say, save your money, go to a site that is closer in location to the actual attractions of West Wales and avoid giving your money to the rude arrogant owners of this site. Beach at the bottom of this site is great for a day out - spend £5 and park for the day, then return to your accommodation that is actually of high standard, with great site owners that want to help/work!

Booked early in 2020 and looked forward to this holiday for over a year and it did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the self catering cottages and what a joy. Great location, great staff, great amenities. A few teething issues which were addressed with the owners but nothing to mention on this site. This is a repeat place for us and that is all one needs to say. A huge pat on the back to all concerned

Five stars for the beautifully located cottage where we stayed for a week. The place was very clean and nicely decorated; peaceful and within easy reach to the beach. We loved it BUT, the customer service did not exist. We arrived and there was no one to tell us where the cottage was or where to park. Luckily my wife saw the gardener who told us to open a gate to get to the cottage. We wanted to use the swimming pool and there was no one in Reception (there was a sign saying ring the receptionist). A very young child told us that his mommy was not there and a man came and told us that there was a rota. I assumed that the swimming pool was locked so I phoned the receptionist. She phoned us when she came back and later we saw her in the reception but she did not have the decency to welcome us. I thought that she was rather rude. The swimming pool is not heated ; there is no evidence of hot water coming out. In summary, terrible service. One expects someone to welcome you, to make sure you have all you need, etc.; to provide you with information about how to use the storage heating (we are not used to this) the electric heater did not work but there was no one to help. Probably the receptionist will say that there is a phone number to ring; but guests should not have to go searching for the receptionist every time is required. I recommend that the friendly and professional Polish gardener should be the Manager, she seems to have the competencies needed for the job.

What a truly amazing place and a fantastic weekend. Like most it's a long time since we have been anywhere. It was so much more than we expected. The cottage is simply stunning, the private caravan park is is fabulous and the people and clubhouse experience was second to none. Just want to say a huge thanks to the owner family who looked after us and had a beer with us. Thank you very much

Just returned from a long weekend spent in the Old Chapel Cottage situated within the grounds of Dinas Country Club. The cottage was lovely, was one of three in close proximity, was clean, very cosy and just what we wanted as an escape from the problems caused by Covid. The cottage had been converted from what was once a small chapel with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and wood flooring. The living room was small with just enough room for the two of us with several radiators and a wood burner, much needed on what was a cold November weekend. The kitchen was a little cramped but we managed. The bedroom was cosy with a door leading onto the private garden. The site itself consisted mainly of lodges or caravans and was well maintained. There was a short 10 minute walk leading to the village of Dinas Cross with two great pubs. There were also walks leading from the site to Pwllgwaelod Beach (great sunset) and Maes yr Eglwys (tiny hamlet with remains of a church ruin) overlooking a small beach. The clubhouse was closed due to the pandemic.Despite there being quite a few lodges/caravans occupied for the weekend we hardly saw anyone but the people we did bump into were very friendly.Unfortunately, the weather was atrocious last Friday and Saturday but we still got about with Sunday being the best day with blue skies and that little yellow ball that had been conspicuous by it's absence! Recommend nearby Fishguard and Newport as destinations for a few hours out.Whilst we would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice break, we could not award it five stars due to the attitude of the owner's daughter. On arrival last Friday night, we found there were no hand towels, no bath mat, no toilet rolls (luckily we had brought some), no dishwasher tablets and despite a log burner in the living room there were no logs or matches! Having called the lady in question my wife was advised as there were three small pieces of wood in the container out the garden, 'that is enough to start you off.' We had to wait an hour and a half for her to turn up, during which she brought a bag of logs, one hand towel, one bath mat, one toilet roll and some dishwasher tablets. Despite problems with the wall radiators in the lounge and bedroom, she advised it did take a few hours for them to warm up! No, sorry that wasn't good enough on a weekend in November. Whilst the radiator in the lounge did eventually warm up, the wall mounted radiator in the bedroom did not work at all for the entire weekend. Nevertheless, it has to be said that a few portable radiators were provided and we made do with those.Having been given logs for the log burner, there was no kindling or matches. When I called the lady on Saturday morning, she eventually returned my call over an hour or so later. I was told they do not provide any and we would have to buy our own kindling/matches from the village shop! Having suggested to her that when a wood burner is part of the rental property anyone would assume these materials would be available, she replied that they are not advertised in the brochure. Having paid Hoseasons £239.00 to rent the property for the weekend, whilst the amount in question wouldn't break the bank, nevertheless you should expect things like toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, bath mats and certainly logs, matches and firelighters - not have to request them OR BUY YOUR OWN. The only things we had been told to bring were bath towels so everything else should have been supplied for our arrival, not afterwards, not after over an hour's wait and certainly with a far more customer-focused attitude. As stated, the cottage was a delight and many others will enjoy it's cosy, olde worlde charm but the owner's daughter ruined the ambience and she certainly needs a lesson in customer focus before we would consider booking again.

We stayed in a cottage for a week in July. The club was only open Friday and Saturday night and Sunday lunch which was a shame. The food on Saturday was lovely. Fairly priced and cooked to order so a little wait but no detriment. Sunday lunch was even better. A good choice of meat and plenty of vegetables. There is even a possibility of 3 courses if you can eat that much. Fairly priced but you have to book. Great, friendly staff who were very helpful. We also made use of the pool. There is no shop on site but there is one a mile away in the village although it is up a hill if you are walking. A peaceful, quiet get away.

Had a lovely time staying at this country club. we stayed in one of the cottages and it was lovely. the cottage itself is very quaint. it has been modernised inside and as a whole is really lovely. the kitchen has everything you need and bathroom also the bedrooms are an ideal size. plenty of room for myself, partner and two children. the food in the restaurant was also really lovely, they are not tight on the portion sizes either. the staff were all friendly also. the family who run the park are also extremely helpful and are doing a great job. the park itself is really nice. there are views of the sea also and opportunities to go walking which i enjoy. would defiantly stay there again. summertime would be lovely.

Whilst staying at one of the three cottages on this caravan site, we had dinner at the on-site 'pub' and to be fair we were a little sceptical ....needn't have been. The family that runs the site are incredibly friendly and looked after us the whole week we were there. After ordering our meals, we were presented with chunks of local bread, with olives and dips...didn't expect that....but the size of the meals we got..the manager said they were "Rugby player sized portions"....he wasn't kidding and he wasn't a winger either !! We were completely stuffed afterwards and so glad that we only had about 20 meters to walk back to our little cottage !!

An outstanding Sunday meal, we had been promising ourselves a trip out here for a while. Everything was freshly prepared and to a very high standard, generous portions and good presentation. We've stopped for a beer before, well kept real ale and well selectd wines, but never had a meal - we will be back. Delightfull building which hints at an intriguing history, set back off the road and quite close to the beach. A very good staff team and a genuine warm welcome.

We were in Dinas for a family wedding and have visited the Country Club several times before. We had an evening meal here on the day before the wedding and enjoyed a variety of meals which were all freshly prepared and very tasty. The following day they catered wonderfully for the wedding party of over sixty people, providing soup, beef and chicken main with vegetables and cheesecake dessert. Then in the evening a fantastic buffet appeared with plenty for not only the wedding party but the guests invited for the evening celebrations. Everything was very tasty and a nice selection of snacks and meals were provided for all tastes. A lovely day and evening was had by all. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is the best dining experience in the area. Although not residing at the Country Club, we decided to check out the " Open to Non-Residents " advert and were we pleased that we did. The proprietors are very warm and welcoming, the staff friendly and courteous and the food is excellent in quality and reasonable in price. In our seven day stay locally, we visited the Country Club on three nights and enjoyed each visit. We did try other local establishments, but they could not match the Country Club. If we return to the area, we will without doubt revisit it. Many thanks.

Thank you to the Dinas team for a very enjoyable evening and a delicious meal. I loved that we had some fresh bread, pesto, olives and balsamic vinegar to take the edge off our hunger to start - a lovely surprise! Our meals were top notch - sea bass for him and gammon for me - with beautifully cooked vegetables and a nice salad. The chips were divine and himself tells me that the mash was 'quality'. Great service - at the bar and by the waiting staff. The kitchen is also obviously working at top efficiency - producing lovely fresh food speedily and well presented. As I was in a super greedy mood, I also wanted a dessert and the chocolate cake was also lovely. My only niggle is that I wished there had been a choice of dessert, but as you are providing top quality bar meals at a very reasonable price, maybe that's not your focus! You've obviously got a great chef there with good flavour combinations and sauces to lift food beyond the standard bar meal type category. We'll be back next time we've got the urge for a good feed and some good company!

If you don't know about the Country Club its well worth discovering. You will undoubted get the warmest welcome in Dinas. The proprietors have gone to huge efforts to improve every aspect. The food is very good quality with a varied selection and a very accommodating chef. The Clubhouse itself its atmospheric with log fires and cosy areas where you can tuck yourself away and a large family room where there is live music monthly. The grounds are well kept and the setting is pretty and the sloping garden in front of the Clubhouse is a joy for children. We always make a point of going when we are in the area and have not had a disappointing meal yet, the home made curries are a particular favourite.

We escaped a downpour here, we weren't planning on lunch, but ordered a sausage sandwich to share and it was great. The place was packed and very busy, but we'll run. The buildings are interesting, a maze of properties joined together, with the brewery downstairs. There's also a shop and coffee shop part of Harbwr. There are many places to eat and drink in Tenby and this one should not be missed
