We had lunch here. When we ordered we had to pay in advance. No problem, quite common, but we were asked to pay a tip in advance of receiving the food, which is bizarre. It was fortuitous that we didnāt pay a tip in advance. My wife ordered mackerel which was very good and I ordered the peppered ribeye steak. The steak was so tough it was impossible to cut let alone eat. I complained and the plate was taken away for a replacement. I wasnāt asked if I wanted a replacement or at an alternative dish. When the replacement arrived it was only a little better. I complained again and asked where they got their meat from. I didnāt receive an answer. I wasnāt offered a refund and despite telling the servers we would give a negative review we were allowed to leave. At no point was a manager brought in to apologise or manage the situation Cannot recommend this placeā¦

Our first breakfast out since Dec 2020 and we were very disappointed. We weren't greeted by any staff when entering, many if them didn't even acknowledge us. My drinks order was wrong, I ordered a mocha and was brought a latte but out of politeness and due to the amount of people there I didn't say anything. Food was extremely poor. I ordered eggs benedict and after a 30 minute wait my partner and I were brought another tables food. When ours eventually arrived, my eggs benedict had serano ham (rather than normal ham which it did not state on the menu) which I don't eat. Both pieces of my toast were rock solid, only one piece of toast had hollandaise sauce on (which the sauce itself was like water) and both of my poached eggs were hard. My partner had a BLT which mostly consisted of excessive amounts of lettuce and not much else. We were so looking forward to being able to dine out for breakfast again but were both left pretty disappointed by both the food and the service.

Great ice cream selection. Man working there was lovely. Other staff didnāt acknowledge us. Very unorganised place- our order came in drips-and-drabs. Very expensive for what we had- tried to check the recipe was right but there was no items listed on it. Itās okay as a cafe but wouldnāt visit again.

Staff stood eating at the counter constantly, licking fingers in between preparing food and drinks. The premises is not particularly clean. A customer was changing a dirty nappy right by the till/food. Customers allowing dogs to stand up with paws on table.

This place was a real gem! I spent the month of Sept traveling around the UK and Ireland and happened to be in Tenby on my 40th birthday, so wanted to take myself out to dinner. I was looking for a relaxed vibe but with good food that felt worthy of a "birthday dinner," even though I was traveling solo. I really lucked out with this place! The owner was there and his son was tending bar and I could have talked to them all night. So friendly and fun! The woman who brought my food and took my order was so attentive and accommodating even though I was eating downstairs instead of in the main dining area (upstairs). Excellent service!! I ended up chatting with a lovely couple with an adorable dog all night, drinking wine, and eating fantastic scallops...my birthday dinner couldn't have been better. At the end of the night, the owner paid my tab! Who does that?! This was one of my top 10 dining experiences. Everyone should visit Plantagenet House when in Tenby if you want a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, a relaxed vibe in a cool setting, and yummy food.

Stopped off to have a full English Breakfast. Absolutely delicious. Great value for money. Service was so friendly and prompt. And you couldn't get better views from the windows of the beach. The restaurant was extremely clean, and tables were cleared as soon as people left. I can't recommend this restaurant/cafe enough. Pop in for a cup of tea, natter, and enjoy the views or have a meal. Either way, you will leave with a warm tummy and a smile on your face šš

Iād like to make a complaint regarding the overall management of this establishment. When I first arrived, I was impressed by the warm decor and friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the rest of the staff were lovely, making the start of my visit very enjoyable. However, my experience was marred by a staff member who appeared to be in a managerial role and seemed to be the one āwearing the pantsā around the place. She spoke disrespectfully to her colleagues, disrupting the positive environment. Additionally, she had a noticeable smell of smoke, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Upon reading some of the managerās responses to other feedback, itās clear that she is very defensive when it comes to criticism. You donāt just speak to people in such a degrading manner and move on with your day. Some of her responses contained hurtful remarks, and I hope she has taken the time to apologize for them. Despite the great food and wonderful staff, this experience left me disappointed with the management standards of the establishment.
