What a cracking place for breakfast. You can see in to the kitchen and the food was proper home made. I got homemade scrambled eggs, light and fluffy.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch. We had pork, chicken, and the vegan option. The chicken and pork were delicious along with a nice mix of veg, leek gratin, and roast potatoes. The vegan option was something that our vegan wanted to choose (as opposed to being an afterthought offering). Relaxing environment with great service. We booked 2 days in advance with many timing options.

Very disappointed! Certainly not value for money! We went with friends for her partners birthday! Can say we’ve been but won’t be heading back sorry!

Came here at 21:50. They are advertised as open until 23:00 but the doors were locked...

We went for a Sunday late lunch. Food good, wine great, service excellent, but the star of the show was a young man playing the grand piano in the restaurant. He played such a medley of tunes, but the outstanding pieces were from Debussy, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. What a wonderful afternoon. A big thank you to him and whoever in Mitchell and Butlers had the brilliant idea of this wonderful entertainment. We will return!

A pesar de vivir en Cardiff, no he estado aquí durante años, pero, después de algunas compras de última hora, decidí comer algo antes de unirme a las despedidas de soltero de mi futuro hijo. Pedí un “perrito caliente de doble combo” - creo que es correcto, y una porción de papas fritas junto con un café con leche caramelo. El café estaba en el lugar y el perrito caliente era enorme y todo estaba caliente. ¡El perrito caliente solo podría haber alimentado a dos personas! Sin duda vale la pena otra visita - bien vale la pena desafiar el frío para!

Fui aquí con algunos compañeros de trabajo.La comida era deliciosa, realmente disfruté el plato de lubina que tuve aunque pensé que había demasiadas habas que venían con él. Me encantó la presentación y la vajilla.El ambiente era bueno y el personal estaba realmente encima de asegurarse de que tuviéramos suficientes bebidas, etc. Todo estaba bien explicado al principio y me sentí cómodo yendo allí.¡Definitivamente lo recomendaría!

Fantastic food brilliant service even better beer

Marvellous Veggie breakfast, with amazing (home made, I think) Glamorgan Sausage. Not to be missed. Great service, great value. All round recommended. Fab place. And Staff lovely, as you would expect from Cardiff people. (I live in Manchester!!)
