Emily was lovely and served us with enthusiasm and kindness. Thank you. The food was excellent. Happy to recommend the restaurant any time.

A little disappointed with Brown's Cardiff. Twice I've been and twice I've been let down with the cocktails. Asked for a classic vodka martini and wasn't asked how I like it. When it came it was very unwhelming, unlike a true Vodka Martini. Brown's St Martin's Lane, how I miss thee.

Really great Sunday lunch had at this restaurant. Everything was perfect and it was the best roast beef I have eaten in a long time. All the staff are friendly and attentive in particular Emily who served us was just lovely. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

First visit to Browns - an uninspiring Marriott hotel entrance disguises a really good restaurant. Good decor, good varied menu - great service and the food (risotto and fish pie) came swiftly and were delicious.

Nimani our waitress made our evening, we were tired after a long day and really just needed a relaxing evening to refuel and chill. Nimani made our dining experience fuss free and enjoyable, she was on the ball at all times and not intrusive . FOOD POISINING AND NO RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT After the meal, my partner woke up in the middle of the night violently ill with food poising, throwing up raw meat from the meal at Browns. Given the nature of the experience, we promptly contacted Browns to raise the issue and seek some understanding. Unfortunately, our attempts to communicate, have been met with silence. This lack of response from a reputable restaurant chain is disappointing and concerning for the blatant lack of regard they have for food safety from their radio silence. This incident raises serious questions about your commitment to customer safety and responsible communication. Ignoring legitimate concerns about food poisoning speaks volumes about your priorities.

I have become somewhat of a regular at Browns, Cardiff. I cannot praise it enough! The bar staff are so friendly and cheery. They are polite and nothing seems like too much bother for them. Cocktails are great (I've sampled quite a few). My fave? The Espresso Martini, they do it so well here. The manager is often seen flitting about, ensuring smooth running of the area, but is never too busy to stop with a smile to say hello. Atmosphere here is always great. It's very relaxed but with a real good buzz. I could go on, but instead I urge you to experience Browns for yourself - You wont be sorry!

A lovely place for a glass of something nice

Every Christmas my friend and I meet up and catch up on our year, in town, have good food and wine. For most of the time we spent it at Jamies but since that has gone we have struggled to find a good place to relax and enjoy good food. Well we think we may have found THE PLACE! Browns at The Marriott was perfect. Lovely ambience, great service, delicious food and wine. So chilled and relaxing could have stayed there all day… in fact, we did. A hidden gem in the city.
