The best restaurants in Cathays Cardiff South Wales

Servers were polite and friendly and generally pleasant. Food was fantastic, I had 3 courses - Bruschetta, Chicken carbonara and a cannoli. My daughter had the chicken carbonara and sticky toffee pudding. I was unsure what to think of eating in within St Davids, if it would be like a chain restaurant, but it was a really great experience and I'll definitely be back.

Had such a lovely dinner in Mina. Lovely experience, very authentic and great service. The lamb was lovely and all the food tasted so fresh.

Just moved to the area and tried this out as my first curry. Absolutely delicious food with such attentive staff and a wide selection. Will definitely be returning soon.

Second visit in as many weeks, this time for a Marmara breakfast. What a wonderful meal for the two of us, a lovely selection of cheeses, meats, pastries, bread, olives, jam, honey and menem - eggs scrambled with peppers, tomatoes and onions. Deliciously simple and very moreish meaning another visit is on the cards soon, not least for the wonderful family who run the place. Highly recommended!

Was looking for an early morning breakfast so went to the address, Sully’s is no longer in business, has been replaced by a kebab place which wasn’t opening until later that morning.

I visited here for the first time this week for lunch and is was absolutely wonderful. We had a warm welcome and the food was delicious. There were plenty of veggie options and the prices were really reasonable. Will definitely be back soon and will be spreading the word around my office of this place. Thank you!

Mi bar favorito de la ciudad, las mejores bebidas y mucha elección. El personal es atento y muy amable. El lugar está bien diseñado y un montón de asientos. ¡Apagar la arcada por la noche significa que los asientos exteriores aún están calientes!

Popped in for lunch with a friend for the first time today . Great varied selection from the set menu- chose the onion soup and whitebait for first course and minute steak and pork sandwich for mains . All of the food was delicious , obviously home made and clearly made to order - and very reasonably priced . All staff were very friendly and attentive . Would highly recommend Moura and plan to go back on one of the wine tasting nights we heard about . Really impressed by this friendly little restaurant- do give it a try .

Yummiest cake evaaaaaaa and lavender milk what is this taste of heaven?!!! Staff are lovely, attentive, warm and friendly. Lush vibe, very chilled. Great outdoor area too. Visito aquí a menudo y hay una razón por la que salí en un día ventoso para caminar los 10 minutos allí. Las mujeres encantadoras que trabajan allí claramente tienen una pasión y orgullo por la deliciosa comida saludable. Hecho para sentirme bienvenido tan pronto como entro, me dan los especiales de hoy y ofrezco una degustación de deliciosa sopa de champiñones. Me decanté por una envoltura italiana y pastinaca y pastel de jengibre, ambos deliciosos y cuidadosamente preparados. ¡Recomendaría esta pequeña joya a cualquiera!
