About a dozen of us for pre-Xmas meal. Lots of variety on the early bird menu, we had a wide range of starters and mains and everyone enjoyed everything. My chicken 65 was hot, spicy and tasty, kholapuri also great - but the green chillies were a bit much for me. I left nothing but they offered boxes for those who didn’t manage all theirs. Mrs T having hers reheated for tea today. Well done to Jashaan.

We went here for our kid's bday, and there biggest asset is the variety in the menu, and everything we ordered tasted yum. We went for their chicken thali, chicken lollypop, vada pav, dosa and gajar halwa. Everything was yum, but the lollypop and gajar halwa was exceptional! Highly recommend it! FYI- we are indians and reasonable cooks ourselves, so know our Indian food :)

Went for food with friends (and our baby) We had the buffet so can’t comment on menu items but we all enjoyed our meals. Not a huge selection for buffet in comparison to others we’ve been to but there was enough options and what was served was lovely. Serving staff were all absolutely wonderful, very friendly and welcoming and we were checked on regularly. Great value for money!

Shockingly bad service. Waited almost ten minutes for someone to even approach us to be seated, despite staff simply walking right past us without any acknowledgement at all. Once eventually seated, the service was very slow even though the place was less than half occupied. Had to ask for someone to take a drinks order and then had to ask again to order poppadum's while we chose our meals. Main meals were uninspiring - not awful, but bland and two-dimensional. Very disappointing. Definitely won't return.

Just because it's called 'Curry Hut' doesn't mean there's any Korma,Tikka, Tandoori, Madras, Naan bread etc. The first big plus is the onion bhaji. It comes basically loose, a big bowl of fried onions that are like table nibbles. Starters are so cheap, helping you to mix and match. Mains are also so cheap! There was so much food, and it was all great. I also love a place that serves glass bottles of coke for £1.50. How much are you paying in a chain like Pizza Express? £3.65. That's more than double for the same stuff. Long live the city restaurants where you barely hear English and everyones eating with their hands.

The best curry I've ever had. Finally tried something different tonight, along side my normal dhansak and the saag is also so amazing. Thank you pentwyn spice, you're always amazing!
