Jashaan in Cardiff

We tried the early bird menu at £13.95 each which was such good value for money. Beautiful starter - onion baghee and Chicken tikka starter. Beautifully presented. Mains were delicious too! All foid was so fresh!

Best Indian food I have had in Cardiff highly recommend. Flavours bonanza. Second visit it’s going to be my go to for Indian food. The staff are lovely really welcoming and relaxed they make a happy atmosphere.

£13.95 (at current time)for starter main rice and naan you can’t go wrong, portions was massive and the flavours were amazing, less than £50 for all that including upgraded naan and a chutney tray and a bottle of wine!, great customer service will definitely be coming again soon

Great meal as usual. This restaurant never fails to impress us. Food is delicious and the welcome is always very warm. We had lamb bhuna and lamb rogan.

The food and service at Jashaan is second to none, top class. It simply doesn't get better than this. This is the second time visiting and our experience was equally outstanding. The wife and I have tried many many Indian restaurants and Jashaan is streets ahead. The food is exemplerary, you can actually taste the freshness in the dishes, the individual flavors and spices - for us visiting Jashaan is the highlight of our month. We are based in Mumbles, but we travel to Cardiff at least once a month just to eat here. I always have the Naga curry at half strength and it's out of this world. Annoyingly I can't remember the name of My wife's choice, but it was hot spicy and sweet and truly wonderful. You must have the popadoms with the special spicy dip they provide, all the accompaniments are dreamy. What really tops off Jashaan as the best Indian we've been too are the staff. They are all super kind, friendly and extremely attentive, from offering you water at the table without asking, pouring drinks for you, offering advice when ordering - it genuinely feels like returning home everytime we visit and we've only been twice. My wife and I have no words powerful and positive enough to describe just how great this place is to eat, it really is something very special. If you're going to Cardiff, although a 30 minute walk from the center, we say you must make that walk and visit Jashaan. Once you have, you'll keep going back! We always finish off our world class Indian meal with some sumptuous cocktails at the well hidden Dead Canary in Cardiff before going home and we will keep coming back everytime we want an Indian. The only downside is that once you eat here, you won't want to eat at any other Indian. We just wish it was closer to Mumbles. We would both like to thank and congratulate the sensational staff at Jashaan for the perfect hospitality and the out of this world standard of food. We will see you all again soon and I hope this review will help in a little way to raising awareness of this gem not far from the center of Cardiff. Simply put, the best Indian in the UK. Thank you. Absolutely delicious food! My family and I visited here for my birthday. We have been staying in Cardiff for a few days. The service, advice given on food and the quality and quantity of food is absolutely top notch. I only wish we had a restaurant like this on our doorstep. Don’t think twice, definitely eat here!

Myself and my husband enjoyed a lovely bank holiday meal. Our three courses were simply divine. Our waiter recommended us a great new dish and was more than happy to accommodate our every need. We will be back again for sure!!

This is my third visit to Jashaan's, twice in late 2022 (once with my friend & once with my wife) and now this 2024 visit. I have never visited an Indian Restaurant solo before (My friend currently has a medical problem). We travel over 100 miles to Cardiff and we were blown away with our first visit to Jashaan’s. Because of this I decided I would travel alone on this occasion just so I could visit Jashaan’s. Date of my visit; 7.00pm Friday 10.05.2024. As I entered the restaurant, I was very surprised that the head man recognised me and said we have not seen you for quite a while and some of the other waiters said hello and made me very welcome. They asked about my friend and said it was a shame he could not attend this time. Well, my review; If only this restaurant was in my home town it would put all the others out of business. The premises, the staff, the friendly atmosphere and the food are all excellent. I enjoy spicy lamb dishes (no red/green peppers) and I said to the top man I could not remember exactly what I had previously, no problem he said and pointed me to the Fazari Special Lamb Tikka and he recommended I try the garlic rice to go with it. Blimy, what an excellent recommendation, the food was out of this world. It was hot and really spicy but not where it brought tears to your eyes. It was FANTASTIC. Being on my own meant I could not order side dishes that we normally would share. But with a couple of papadum’s and the Chutney tray, plus a chicken Tikka starter and a Chapati with the main course it was still a lot of food. I was so stuffed the rice & Chapati did not get fully eaten. If anyone visiting Cardiff wants to visit a VERY authentic Indian Cuisine Restaurant and are using Tripadvisor to do their searching, stop when you reach Jashaan. You will not be disappointed.

Great to be back at this lovely restaurant. Staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious to say the least. We usually go for the early flyer which is such great value.

By far the best Indian restaurant we have ever tried. Amazing menu and the finest food and the widest options for vegetarians too. We don't even try elsewhere anymore as we are usually disappointed. The service is excellent and the staff are all so friendly....
