The most authentic and tasty mexican food. Massive portions, very flavourful food. Well priced food and drinks. The birria is incredible and the pork tacos with the pineapple are crazy good! Was super quiet on a Friday night which is such a shame for them as the food is sooo good, i can't believe more people don't come here. Staff are always friendly. A meal for 2 of us where we had pork tacos, birria and nachos with 4 beers was less than 60 quid - bargain!

This place is absolute hidden gem. The food is authentic and delicious. The Mexican and Colombian menus are varied. The service was good and the food is freshly prepared so is so worth the wait. Gloria and her husband are an absolute delight. They happily explain the menu. The food was too good to leave so we had a takeaway. This maybe a bit tucked away but well worth a visit.

Loved it. Recommend the wings with sweet chilli sauce. Also had the tortilla chips with sauce. The sauce was so fresh. The burrito was was huge and every bite worth. Coming again

Had the wings. The wings were good, but the accompanying fries and dip weren't great, though not terrible or anything. Good service.

We came three times last year and returned this year. Ordered the dishes we liked before. Tacos with grilled chicken, stew in volcanic pot with lots of onions, peppers, steak ranchero, sausages n avocado. Huge portion. As ever service was friendly and welcoming.

We found this place by pure luck. What a find! Just delicious South American food. We had a selection including burritos. Heaven. Can't wait to go back.

Authentic Colombian food- just like the delicious food I grew up eating. I was so happy to find somewhere that serves Colombian food in Wales! I recommend the empanadas and the bandeja paisa- if you have a good appetite! We also tried the enchiladas and the wings which were crispy and delicious. Gloria was a great host too! Definitely recommend this hidden gem and will definitely return.

Wings of Glory is elite!!!! It is the best food so far in Cardiff. Not only the food quality, but the service is supreme. I feel at home but served with delicious food, and like being in Latin American. I have brought friends in several occasions and all have came back. They loved it as well!! I strongly recommend it!!!!

This Mexican/Columbian restaurant is a little know Cardiff gem. It is a wonderfully friendly place which has plenty of seating and tables and also has a huge take-away following, at the back there is a large room all set up for dancing. You are greeted warmly and everyone who works there is friendly and smiling. We had a party of nine and pretty well everyone selected something different. All the food is cooked when ordered and can take a little time but there is a well stocked bar, though it has limited wine. Every dish we ordered looked great and all our friends loved what they had selected. The dish I didn't order but wish I had, and I certainly will next time I visit Wings of Glory, was the fish soup. There are plenty of starters and main courses but there are no desserts. This is somewhere we will visit again.

I was a bit hesitant when my friend suggested this restaurant before going on to an evening at the nearby Tramshed. A table was pre-booked but as we were eating quite early the restaurant there were very few there so we had the pick of tables. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The Spanish menu is very varied and our waiter clarified our questioning re ingredients and suggested some recommendations suitable for our tastes before taking our order. They have a licence so beers were ordered. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Pricing was very competitive and we would have no hesitation in recommending this venue, it’s food, cleanliness of its toilets, ambience, and staff. They also have a takeaway facility but to experience their true hospitality and menus I recommend eating there but maybe later in the evening.

We walked out of town to come here given the raving reviews and a craving for wings. Service was very good and the food came quickly however… We were served store bought tortilla chips that were like cardboard with a room temperature salsa that tasted like it had gone off. We ordered 4 flavours of wings. The raspberry and chipotle and buffalo sauces were good. The mango and habanero was ok. The (hot) BBQ diablo sauce was not spicy and tastless - the worst bbq sauce we’ve ever had. In addition most of the chicken wings were dried out and cold. The chips were fine but the portion was small and they were also cold. Given the expectations reading previous reviews we were disappointed. Maybe we should have gone for the mexican food however given the name of the establishment we thought we’d in good hands ordering wings.

Absolutely love this place . There is a wide variety of tasty Latin dishes , Colombian , Mexican , Spanish and 25 different flavours of chicken wings ! Working my way through the menu each visit. They do cater for children who want more familiar foods with things like chicken nuggets or fish fingers and chips etc Besides the delicious authentic Latin cuisine the best thing about this restaurant is the fantastic helpful and friendly staff . A warm welcome is guaranteed

This is my favourite place in Cardiff/Wales/UK! :) I must admit being a little biased, because I'm Colombian, but take the word of this Latina: This place truly has the most delicious and genuine Latin American food in town. It offers the best food you could ask for :) The location is fantastic, it's so close to city centre and only a short walk from Cardiff Central Train Station. Due to its central location, parking can be tricky, but what I usually do is "park-and-ride", i.e. leave my car in the outskirts of Cardiff (or at home), just using a convenient train station and then ride the train into town. Really easy! Besides their delicious menu, they are usually happy to go above and beyond, you can ask them for almost any food (not in the menu) and they usually will be happy to make it for you (obviously, pre-ordered, so they can get the right ingredients, i.e. Latin American prawn cocktail, specialty soups/stews and many other delicious treats!). The Owners and the Chefs are absolutely amazing!! You couldn't ask for better hosts! I take my family and friends here over and over again, we can't have enough of eating their delicious food! This place truly brought a part of Latin America to the heart of Cardiff! I can't praise (or thank) Wings of Glory enough! i.e. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Went there for lunch and we're very welcoming. The food was very enjoyable and proper Mexican food not like the chains. Price was very reasonable and next time we are in the area we will return.

The food here was great. I've spent all year watching Encanto and was delighted to have the opportunity to try my first arepa. It was a great experience and the wings were incredible. We had been planning a visit here and went in before heading to the rugby. It's right by the stadium and was empty when we got there. If you want great food away from crowds on match day, this is a perfect shout.

Amazing food will definitely go back, this is a hidden gem just a short walk from the principality stadium. If you love Mexican + South American food this is a place to visit.

Prices a little high but huge portions for sharing. We had lunch there 3 of our 5 days. Closed on Monday and we had to leave Cardiff early before it opened. Tried both guava and tamarind juice which were nice. Our favourite was a stew served in a volcanic stone bone. So full of flavours. The Sunday special of beef stew was very substantial and delicious. Arepas were good so were the El Salvador corn pockets. Rice was yummy too. Everything we tried was great. Staff were very friendly and most enjoyable eating there!

Visited here a number of times with my partner who is South American. Always a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The food is incredible and authentic. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem in Cardiff.

Great service, attentive and friendly, spotlessly clean restaurant but most importantly, the food was superb. We ordered wings - we asked for hot! They were hot and came with a dip, fries and carrot batons: Then we had garlic prawns from the Spanish menu. Yum!...

The food is sooo nice, you can tell that everything including the sauces are homemade! They gave us free nachos with the drinks and they were so warm and friendly it made our night incredible. Definitely coming back.
