Food was lovely. We came in when it was quiet but will definitely return.

Owners and staff were very nice

The prawn tapas was delicious as was the pork and chorizo enchiladas. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back again as want to try everything on the menu 🙂

Food was lovely, it's on the outskirts of Cardiff but worth the extra 2 mins to get there. It was so nice and the waitress we had was so friendly and welcoming! There was a car park nearby that was free for 2 hours as well so win win

Great food and atmosphere, bit of a hiccup to start with when we were forgotten for half an hour but otherwise and really good experience. Have been here plenty of times before, and will likely keep on visiting regularly!

The place is very nice, the people who served us were very friendly, just as a recommendation the tacos are served with the hot tortilla and the meat was a little tough, it would be correct to put it in the oven on steam and add a little butter on top at the end just to make it juicier

Amazing food. Bartender was very accommodating towards us with gluten free options and made the drinks very quickly for us.

Enjoyed everything that we ordered, staff were friendly and attentive. They were always on hand. I will be eating there again when I’m in Cardiff next. Treated ourselves to some of their cocktails while we were there too. Very tasty. 😀 All in all we had a great time great food.

Honestly, this is one of Cardiff’s gems and we are fussy, foodie types. Authentic, delicious fresh Latin American food served by a charming, attentive waiter. We booked through Fork and got 50% off our food, but at full price it would still have been amazing value ❤️

Tried this place for the first time tonight for my birthday and it was gorgeous. The food is incredible and the service! Our server was so lovely and they made me feel so special giving me a mocktail and cake (he checked if I was interested in alcohol but I'm pregnant) we had loads of tapas dishes and all of them were soooo flavoursome. Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu. Definitely 10/10 from me!

Poppped in on the off chance for a pre concert meal. Despite there being a small step to enter, assistance was offered immediately and plenty of room found for both me and my wheelchair. Lovely food, great price, excellent decor. Top that with very attentive staff ( without being intrusive) and what more could you ask? Hidden gem

Delicious food and good service. The drinks were a bit slow but apparently they were a barman down on that Friday night so the poor lad was working on his own trying to fulfil a constant stream of cocktail orders! Would happily go here again, so many amazing looking dishes to choose from that you can't eat in one sitting!

We had taco and nachos for starters and a goat and chicken curry. All the food was amazing our favourite was the beef taco, however all the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the goat curry, pretty spicy but tasty.

Found this little gem in Cardiff while looking for a mexican fix. We had fantastic food, enchiladas and fajitas with pulled beef nachos to start. The flavours were really tasty and very authentic. 2 for 1 cocktails, who can't complain with that! Staff were very friendly and we'd definitely come again. Would recommend to anyone and we'll come again, we came as a couple, but the venue is family and big party friendly.

We were welcomed by Amit who explained and helped us pick our food and through the our stay made sure everything was perfect. Food was amazing!

Great food place for a date only great food and service. Chilli con carne was unbelievable and perfect spice. Chicken quesadillas was the same aswell

Pretty authentic! I’m American and am usually somewhat skeptical of Mexican/Latino places in Europe. Glad I took a chance here. This place was great and the chef and owner is very passionate. Good prices too.

Decided to give Viva Latino a try tonight as somewhere different and wanted something closer to home considering the weather recently. First time here and definitely will not be the last. Excellent food, incredibly tasty and great sized portions providing fantastic value for money. This is a little gem of a restaurant and deserves to be visited. Good choice of cocktails, including a decent selection of 2-4-1 without any silly timing restrictions.

Popped in for lunch after staying in Cardiff Bay for the night. Warm welcome, nice atmosphere and great decorations and art on the walls. Had lamb meatballs for starter and enchilada for main. Food was fantastic, I loved the kick from the sauce the meatballs were in, and was very happy with the enchilada, never before had a freshly cooked one from a restaurant. My only regret is that I wasn't more adventurous, but will be next time.

Very friendly staff with nothing too much trouble and was made very welcome throughout the visit. The food was absolutely amazing and a great price too. Food and drink for £10 each and was enjoyed by myself and my partner so much that we have booked for Thursday night and cannot wait for the main menu and drinks

What a great place this is. The ambience seems mexican when you first walk in but it's really more south American. All the staff were really nice and the food was excellent. The fajitas were very good. Very much enjoyed it.

Asked not to be filmed while eating here after they had a phone on me for over 5 minutes and the manager ensured that I would not be filmed anymore. They contined taking videos including the one mentioned below. Low and behold a week later I'm on their TikToc reel, no common decency shown

The best Calamari and Churros we have ever tasted, and we have tried many. The cocktail menu is the most thoughtful we have ever seen. Top notch waiter service and chef Ram (owner) and corresponding hospitality is not to be missed. We have already recommended to 2 other couples because this place must not be missed.

This restaurant was amazing! We visited on valentines day and the setup was great. The service was phenomenal, we were never left waiting and all staff were extremely polite, happy and eager. The food was also out of this world, very passionate chef!! I would only encourage those to pay the restaurant a visit! Amazing prices too :)

Absolutely Sublime, everything from the food to the service was perfect. Its so hard to find real authentic Latin food but Vivo Latino is the place to go! The peruvian goat curry was incredible, the Mole plabano was fantastic and the Empanadas are a must have! Cannot wait to come back

Booked for 4 of us after six nations rugby. Very busy but place was warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly. Food was lovely and prices were appropriate.

Chose Vivo Latino based on reviews and menu and was not disappointed. From the greeting by the front of house staff to the support when asking for recommended dishes, the whole evening was excellent. Can't praise this place highly enough, it's just a pity we were only vising the City otherwise we'd be dining there very frequently.

Second time visiting here and the food was just as good as the last visit. Staff were very attentive. The latin bread is delicious and the burger I had was lovely, it was obviously home made. The portions are very generous and we left feeling full and happy

Fab little restaurant just outside the city centre. Well worth a visit. Lovely fun atmosphere with an excellent variety of dishes on the menu. They have added a host of new offers such as 2 for 1 cocktails and weekday lunchtime specials. We’ve taken our teenagers there too and they loved it. Fully recommend.

Great food and amazing drinks. I think the lady behind the bar was Arju and she ensured we were well cared for and an empty glass didn't last long, amazing bartender!

Absolutely loved the delicious latino tapas and cocktails served here. We had the express daytime deal and it was a colourful explosion of tasty plates. There were plenty of options for everyone but we can highly recommend the vegetarian options. Colourful and vibrant restaurant setting and we can’t wait to come back and try more! Quiet during our daytime visit but we still loved it.

It Was out Xmas staff night out there was a big group of us 22 all in all ! Perfect location, food was 5/5 and service was amazing and great value ! I would highly recommend and I will be visiting again

Fantastic restaurant especially if you live nearby a great selection of food and generous drinks options definitely could become your regular spot.

Food delivery ordered through Uber eats. Delivery took ages, called the restaurant and they claimed it had been delivered. I explained it hadn’t. Numerous calls between the restaurant and the driver. It took another half an hour to get to the bottom of the fact that the driver was in the wrong place. The driver called me demanding my location which I didn’t need to give because the address was on the app. The driver then arrived at my house with food to hand me the bag that he’d just delivered elsewhere. I was expected to eat ice cold food which had been accepted by someone else only to open it and discover that I had also been sent the wrong items. Terrible service, quality, attitude and clearly awful hygiene. Still awaiting a refund as the restaurant has left the order pending on purpose. Avoid!!!

Loved it! Varied Mexican - Latim American menu, beautifully executed.

We had a great Mexican / South American dinner. We shared a variety of starters and mains and we loved them.

Food was ok. Chicken quesedillas and spiced potatoes were nice but unfortunately both tacos (chicken and cauliflower) were just overpowered by the balsamic glaze. The steak in the fajitas was very fatty as well. To top it off, there was one group that was very loud and swearing a lot across the restaurant and management didn't say anything to them which was disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't go back again.
