Very nice food but a bit cold by the door.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Staff go out of the way to satisfy. Some good music to listen to. Birthday dinner. Will be back.

Absolutely mind blowing little place food is cooked to absolute perfection and you 💯 get value for money. Perfect atmosphere and staff are just next level ! Surprised how quiet it was. Everyone should get down here and try the fantastic food available.

It's a lovely little place serving some brilliant drinks, whether it's a stop off on your way into town or going home it's definitely worth stepping in for a drink. The bar is well stocked, and there are several beers on tap. The cocktail menu is vibrant, and staff know their drinks well. Decor is very creative within the small space, and aboustky has the desired effect of being interesting without being in your face. Coupled with the polite staff, you can't go wrong For large groups id advise booking in advance. To make sure they have a table put together that's big enough for you.

We had a fabulous meal. From the minute we walked in the door, everything was amazing. We will definitely be back, next time we are in Cardiff.

Best mojito’s I’ve had in years, great atmosphere, great food and lovely service. The music is great. It is really great prices, 5 min walk from centre and you get great value for money from an independent business rather than chains in middle. It also has Cuban and Brazilian food, not just Mexican.

Had a really flavoursome meal and really top notch service. Cocktails were also really good, recommend the la paloma

It was such a wonderful experience. We went on a slow Wednesday evening and it was quiet and relaxing atmosphere! The food was full of flavour and the portions were just right!

We loved our lunch here at Vivo Latino and were surprised by how delicious and authentic the Mexican dishes are. The owner was very friendly and the service was fast! Would return 100% next time we are in Cardiff.

Had a lovely experience at Vivo Latino!! Came on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted so nicely by the owner, who made us some lovely margaritas and advised us on what to eat. Service was quick and food was yummy. The enchiladas and quesadillas were great!!! The churros were also crispy, fresh, and light as they should be. So happy with our meal. Worth the stop if you’re in the neighborhood!

Lovely experience dining at Vivo Latino, I had the jackfruit burrito and my mum had the goat curry, both were really delicious and we loved them. The rice reminded my mum of how her Latina Grandma used to make it. Great sized portions too. The Chef/Owner is wonderful and clearly knows what he is doing with these recipes!

I had their mixed grill and it tasted very good. There was a good variety of meats to try and a generous portion for a reasonable price. Would recommend!

don’t recommend if you’re Brazilian. Maybe the other dishes are more authentic, but the coxinhas were definitely NOT coxinhas, taste and look nothing like coxinhas. the food was okay, moqueca was a bit flavourless, but the cocktails were nice- caipirinha did taste like a traditional caipirinha and the batida was just a bit watery. did have to wait over an hour for starters AND drinks. overall just not for me because I was expecting authentic food, but it seems like they cater more to mexican food, which is fine. the staff and environment was lovely though!

Had bottomless brunch here today - one of the nicest meals I’ve ever had. The food was beautiful and cocktails were delicious. Will definately be visiting again and recommending friends to visit

We dined very early (5.30) so it was a bit quiet so while it lacked a bit of a buzz the decor and general atmosphere was great. Food was really nice, tasty, and plenty of it.

This place was so fun! We decided against the bottomless brunch because we were short for time but the cocktails we did have were proper strong and the food was beautiful. The staff are soo accomadating and kind, definitely coming back for sure 😁

My partner and I have frequented Vivo Latino many times since discovering them about a year ago. Never had a bad meal, presentation excellent, food excellent, top quality ingredients, delicious cocktails and the service is impeccable. The menu is a varied selection of delicacies that've been carefully curated by a passionate staff to delight and encourage you to try new and wonderful collabourations. A must visit if you're in the area, they also serve late, so if you're out looking for something delicious you would do well to pay them a visit!

An exceptional night! The food and the cocktails were excellent and the service was impeccable! They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful evening and even made a special Mexican dish for us which wasn’t on the menu. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Hidden gem 147 cow bridge road east in Cardiff. Friendly staff lovely atmosphere. Chef patron (owner) delivers unbelievable flavour in each of his dishes. Authentic comes to mind when reviewing this quirky venue

We dined at Vivo Latino this evening with some friends and it was lovely! A great spot for Latino tapas in Cardiff, where the staff couldn’t do enough to help us! So much so we ended up leaving with complimentary Churros in our stomach!! We ordered a variety of tapas dishes, including sweet potatoes, Kibe, Sautéed Chorizo, Conxinhas and the best - BBQ Beef Soft Sheel tacos. A lovely spot for a date night or a catch up with friends ❤️

What a lovely a place, my daughters booked this for us as a large group and the food is seriously good. I had the Goat curry which was outstanding but out of the 12 of us there was not a bad meal everyone was happy. The cocktails were well served with a generous portion of alcohol and very tasty. Will definitely be coming back.
