I was unable to attend my booked Christmas dinner on 7.12.24 because of travelling restrictions with storm Darragh. The Dyffryn has been awesome in this respect, giving back deposits, in the form of vouchers. Thank you for being so kind and understanding. Fantastic service!! I hope to see you very soon!!

Little pub by a canal with quite a good selection. Very clearly labeled gluten-free options.

Such a fun place for great food and atmosphere at the end of the night. Perfect for picking you up after watching the rugby 😀

its been a few years since returning. I liked the food it was enjoyable but They need to improve for me to return. Provide better seating with softer seats and better back support , really disappointed to see the metal chairs by the table . Why are the menus just pieces of paper , in this day and age at least use headed paper or card. I ordered a beer that arrived in a can , the menu should state bottled or tinned as it tastes different. The can of beer should have be poured in my opinion . The eating area is heated by a portable heater , the last time i saw that style heater was in a indian restuarant 20yrs ago. Another group of people came in and had to seat themselves , staff should have shown them where to sit. Food arrived in time and was enjoyable , the burgers should be served with complimentary crisps or salad, otherwise the burger is just solely on the plate . Asked for the bill once finished but then had to go to the counter to pay ???? is it not normal to bring the card device to the customer. I am not sure if this is a proper place to dine or just a place to have a no frills meal.

Met up with visiting friends from the Isle of Wright with discerning palate who enjoy good food served in good surroundings and this is exactly what’s on offer at The Bell in Skenfrith. Totally enjoyed my very delicious pork tenderloin dish and my friends their Brill. The portions were absolutely right and the dishes were a feast for the eyes as well as our stomachs. Surroundings exuded elegance, luxury, charm comfort and was spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful, inviting, polite and courteous.service was prompt. It would be an absolute treat to visit the bell again very soon and its such a lovely feeling we all shared. My compliments and thanks to the Chef and the team at the Bell for making it a perfect lunch date.

Just had a great set of meals with the family and not for the first time. Food is always top notch (we had Steaks, Gammon, Pancakes and fish goujons). Atmosphere is really friendly and staff attentive. They also always have a great selection of drinks, currently a Bavarian selection due to Oktoberfest. Looking forward to booking a Christmas lunch

This is nothing more than an over priced cafe. The general ambiance is very poor with each of the seating areas being worn out. Other similar venues in the area might well be worth exploring

Have breakfast here every Sunday., Don’t bother going here anymore everyone! Today ( Sunday 17th Nov) Food sent back once, 2nd time could not be bothered to send back . Toast as white as bread not toasted. Food stone cold, and impossible to eat. Sausage cut it still frozen inside.. Coffee arrived sent back cold, 2 time sent back 3rd time just left it. Don’t know what’s happened to this lovely Sunday breakfast!!!!!! So don’t waste your money and go there ANYMORE! Us 10 men will take our business elsewhere. Plenty of other places to have a nice Sunday breakfast!

Awful I am terribly disgusted and appalled by the way Ben Winchester was treated this is unavoidable and action should be taken. He was abused while working there and was wrongfully 😠 fired serious action should be taken immediately
