Gorgeous food with generous portions. Lovely location and setting and very comfortable. We sat by the roaring fire. Great value for money and friendly staff

Sadly now owned by Marstons who are limiting the quality beers that should be available. Food OK but their market dominance means same menu everywhere.

I ordered a cowboy burger but the server told me you had run out of bacon so I was severed it with out the bacon but still charged the same I seen on your menu you can buy aportain of bacon so why was the price of the bacon not taken of the bill

We visited for a mid week meal after work and chose from an extensive menu but having eaten here before I knew I was going for the Ultimate Southern Fried burger and fries. My wife went for the same. Our meals were hot and tasty, as well as well portioned after a hard days work. Only criticism is the price for pumped soft drinks, but all pubs/restaurants do too, for some syrup, water and CO². Great atmosphere and nice and warm on a winter evening. We'll be sure to return soon. Thanks.

My husband and I went for a meal on Saturday, what a lovely atmosphere, the staff were so accommodating, cheerful,and friendly ,we were sat and drinks provided as soon as we were ready no,pushing for our order which is a big plus in our eyes,then when the food arrived, not only was it presented well on the plate,it was a full plate ,and tasted as good as it looked ,thankyou all for the pleasant evening

Called in on a Friday evening and simply enjoyed good service, the meal we expected, both in pleasant surroundings.

Food was amazing. Was nice to have a proper pub meal. That was tastiest and filling. The desserts were fantastic.Staff were friendly and made the whole experience that much better. We will definitely be back in the near future

Great service good food plenty of parking went there by chance after checking out the new bike cafe down the road. This place has a better price point for food and drink good quality food and service so will be returning.

The Aubrey Arms is a welcoming pub. Clean, spacious, good staff who are very helpful, reasonably priced food which is nicely cooked and presented well. Great menu with plenty of selection.

The service is always excellent, staff can’t do enough to make our visits very relaxed and enjoyable. The food is always well cooked and very tasty, and always served efficiently

The young dark haired lady was polite efficient, welcoming and chatty. I had the Thai curry which was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his steak meal and side of onion rings. My son's salad with additional bbq cauliflower, didn't want his meal to end, it was THAT tasty! The other female staff (wearing a checked jacket) was polite, efficient and cheerful. Not forgetting a big 10/10 to the chef, for superb meals and getting them out to us promptly! Also on arrival we were offered tables around the fire in case we felt the cold, as the dark haired young lady explained that there was a problem with the hearing in the other part of the restaurant. Many thanks, from a VERY satisfied customer!

Really lovely staff, so friendly and accommodating. Really fast delivery of drinks and food despite being busy. Delicious food - starters, mains and desserts were all spot on. Such a cosy atmosphere in the bar area with the real fire. Love the addition of a dogs menu - they had chicken and loved it.

We had a 12.15pm booking, we eventually received out food @ 1.35pm. When I queried delay was told they were busy! Food and service were mediocre, it will be a long long time before I eat there again, if ever!

I booked online and requested a table in conservatory , we arrived and was warmly greeted by a member of staff who showed us to our table which was exactly as requested. We ordered our drinks which were promptly brought to our table with the menus. The menu offered a good choice and at a reasonable price. When our food arrived you could see everything was freshly cooked and was excellent , the deserts were the same. We found the staff to be very friendly, talkative and polite and gave us excellent table service all night. Can not fault anything and will be returning very soon.

Totally surprised at the value and standard of food for a chain pub. What a pleasant surprise to have well cooked and tasty food at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful too making it a very enjoyable lunchtime treat. We've never visited before but we'll definitely be coming back.

Shocking service - 90 mins to order and get starter - the staff could not give a tinkers cuss - I would not go back here if I was ravenous

Esperamos 90 minutos para que nos sirvieran una ronda de bebidas y entrantes. Los platos principales llegaron 15 minutos después. El personal no podía dar un toque tinkers, y el lugar no estaba tan ocupado. Pedimos crayones para los niños, nunca vinieron. El servidor deslizó la comida por la mesa con un desdén pocas veces visto , creo que fue porque tuvimos la osadía de preguntar dónde estaba nuestra comida. Para cuando llegó la red eléctrica estaba enfurecido hasta el punto de que incluso si me hubieran dado la comida gratis no sería suficiente.

Ha pasado algún tiempo desde la última vez que visitamos, reservamos en línea para alrededor de 12. 00 que era rápido y fácil, a la llegada un montón de espacio de aparcamiento, sin embargo, esto pronto cambió dentro de la primera hora, la recepción era cálida y acogedora. aunque era un poco tranquilo no esperamos mucho antes de que el personal estaba en nuestra mesa para tomar algo, lo que hizo feliz a mi esposa y nos dieron el menú y un montón de tiempo para elegir nuestras comidas. El menú tenía un montón de opciones para elegir, yo tenía la hamburguesa y mi esposa tenía el pastel de estaca, ambas comidas eran porciones razonables y mi esposa dijo que es uno de los mejores pasteles de estaca que ha tenido en un tiempo. En cuanto al coste que pagamos alrededor de £ 30 que está en línea, si no un poco menos de lo que pagamos normalmente. Sobre nuestra experiencia, sin duda volveríamos atrás Barry

A nice looking pub but unfortunately overheard numerous staff members talking rudely about the two toddlers who were with us. A member of staff later rudely came over to ask 'what are you doing then, just drinks or eating?!'. Not sure if they needed the table or were annoyed at our children however we were literally told to sit at this table by another member of staff. Not a nice atmosphere and definitely not nice to overhear staff saying rude things. Will not be returning and not sure this is a family friendly pub at all.

Nice cosy pub, very child friendly catered to all are needs. All bar staff great and professional. 100% recomend

Found the food poor quality and over priced, wouldn't recommend at all. Is located on a very busy road, which isn't relaxing at all to sit outside and have a drink.

It was a totally spontaneous visit on the way home from me having some important scans done at the hospital. As we passed, I asked my wife if she fancied eating out, which is something we seldom do and next thing we were sat in your lovely pub. Service was friendly and relaxed with all the staff being very personable and just what we needed after the the past few weeks we've had. Food was served in good time and was tasty and wholesome - mixed grill and a Hunters Chicken. Chips were great, really fresh and crispy but fluffy inside, bit like the wife!! Anyway, hasten to add, we are planning to come back very soon from Bridgend to visit for another great meal - see you soon! PS: The waitresses were brilliant and we had a good laugh with them.

We’ve been going to the Aubrey about once a month for the last couple of years. Service has always been a bit slow but the food has been good. We thought we’d take the dog with us on our last visit-big mistake. We knew we’d be in the bar area instead of the restaurant, but never expected the service to be so bad. No one came to take our order until we went to the bar to remind staff we were waiting. Someone eventually came to take our order but, even then, the food and drinks took a long time to arrive. We usually have a couple of drinks but weren’t asked if we wanted anymore, so we didn’t bother. You’re definitely treated like a second class citizen if you’re in the bar area. This will be our last visit. I forgot to mention that I couldn’t have my mixed grill as you had run out of eggs, and couldn’t have vinegar on my chips as you had run out of that as well! How does a restaurant run out of eggs and vinegar??

Extremely pleasant meal and drinks. Service and food quality was very good. Only dropped to 4* for "Atmosphere" because (being midweek) it was quiet, but that did not detract from the enjoyable evening within our party.

Good value for money food and drink. Very friendly staff topped off with a great Elvis tribute act. More entertainment please. Well worth a visit.

This is a friendly, country pub that has lots of food and drink options. We really enjoyed our meals which included chicken and mushroom pie, vegetarian chili, chipotle mushrooms and then apple crumble and chocolate caramel brownie cake for dessert. Staff are friendly and service was quick.

Lovely warm welcome and luckily table free for Sunday lunch! Full plate of roast, potatoes, veg, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy.

Lovely family friendly pub. All staff were helpful and playful with the children. They couldn't do enough for us. The menu had lots of choice, the food was tasty and the service was quick. I would definetly recommend the Aubrey, we will be returning soon.

I admit, I didn't realise this was a Marstons pub when we arrived. We are not a big lover of chains and probably wouldn't have stopped if we knew but I've wanted to try the pub for sometime...an I'm glad we did. It's a charming set up and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Food options on the menu are standard for a chain. The fish was beautiful...chips were clearly frozen and that's a personal dislike for me...no complaints from fussy teens. £91 for 3 fish and doubled chips, a burger, chocolate cake rocky road and six pints of coke isn't bad for these times. Part of me hopes that this little gem doesn't loose it's heart to a chain mentality because it does have a lot of soul and all the staff we encountered were great.

Visited this restaurant for the fist time 26th July , the meal was delicious cooked to perfection , all the staff were very welcoming , friendly and professional the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere we would definitely recommend and return thankyou all xx

Nice light restaurant with pleasant staff. We had mains if roast beef x 2 and turkey, swiftly served and delicious with good vegetables. Desserts were Rocky Road Sundaes and coffee, the latter being disappointing and somewhat bitter, but servers brought more hot frothy milk.
