Lovely pub in Caerphilly great staff and a great atmosphere, always!

What can I say.amazing staff,service 100%. .checking to see if our meals were ok. Well they were outstanding.perfectly cooked, Drinks were great. We had mixed grill and serf and turf . Best steak we’ve ever had . Thank you for a great evening . We will be back .

Family Sunday lunch for my husband’s birthday. Simon was very helpful throughout the booking procedure and him and his staff were wonderful. The food was lovely, piping hot and served promptly. Would highly recommend. Thank you Simon and team, we all had a great time.

Fantastic food served really quickly. Got us out of a fix as we needed to get to a concert when others in the town had let us down despite prior booking. We'll definitely be back soon.

That Lewis and Holly are just the best bar staff. Nothing is too much for them.

Friendly staff and great service. I love the fact that I am able to order in Welsh as Manon (one of the staff) speaks Welsh. Food is always great quality, much as you'd expect from a pub. Recommend the kebabs!

We are child free today so we called in for a cheeky lunchtime pint. There is always a great "local pub" greeting from Simon when we call in. And now we're coming back tonight for the '80s disco

The Green lady is mine and and my partners favourite spot in Caerphilly! Absolutely lovely pub with great food for fantastic prices and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are amazing also! Highly recommend!

The garlic bread was tasteless and the prawns were completely the wrong texture. Luckily I was able to get a refund on the prawns.

Perfect from start to finish. Everything was clean. Seated promptly, The chicken pie would have been better if it contained more chicken. Service was faultless.

What a beautiful place. Me and the family were looking for somewhere new to eat and haven't been disappointed. First time trying here so wasn't too sure on what I was expecting. The food was exceptionally cooked and the staff were very friendly. We'd like to mention a gentleman called Adam who helped make us feel welcome. Would recommend and definitely will return

Could not fault the meal and staff,there were 6 of us and I was hoping the meal would be OK, as it was for my adult sons 48 th birthday ,no problem at all, we all had different meals ,I told 2 of the staff the meals were excellent and with 30%off mains even better ,will definitely come again

Absolutely fantastic. The green lady hosted my beloved Nans funeral wake today and they have been amazing. The staff were all genuine and amazingly caring to our situation. The buffet provided was out of this world, the best buffet food I have ever eaten. A massive thanks to the guys who worked so hard to give Edna the send off she deserves.

Great food at great prices. Lively environment, football on with plenty of locals and groups eating and drinking. Beautiful burger, and the fish and chips is my Dad's favourite, plus the lasagne makes the teenager very happy too 😉.

Food was really good. The hunters chicken was amazing, and one of my friends had the fish. The portion was massive, and she said it was gorgeous. Unfortunately there were only 2 people serving and one of them was a new member of staff, so service was a bit slow. Prices were not bad and we had 30% off our mains. Absolute bargain.

Absolutley horrific food the cheese sauce looked and tasted like spew could even eat my food my 1 year old daughter wouldnt even eat her food as the chicken nuggets were hard i will never return again wasnt the first to say about food being bad either as heard other people said on tables about the food and just got up and left

We wete a party of 30 for lunch. The team working that day to provide fab food, good service and a warm welcome means I for one will return. Thankyou Green Lady

we only popped in for a cheeky beer! it's what you expect from a pub. It does say you have to pay to park in the carpark, which you do pay, so estimate your time you'll be there pay at the machine take your receipt in with you and they reimburse you in full when you order. People abusing the carpark has caused the payment charge, but like I've said, you do get reimbursed.

I booked your function area for a group of 50 for a New Year Meal. The booking process was very efficient and on the day we got good service and enjoyable food. There were a few issues with getting the right meal to the right person, but these were few and did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the group. Feedback was that we would certainly consider the Green Lady for next year. Time spent Queuing for the parking ticket machine was a criticism and we had understood the £25 required to book the area was a refundable deposit, not a charge. This charge would be the only reason we might not book with you for next year.

I had to reschedule our Christmas party and the staff were nothing but accommodating and extremely helpful when there were changes to menu options and numbers. On the night, the food was great and couldn't fault the service and the attentiveness of staff. We will be visiting again soon.

An excellent pub, great atmosphere and service. However, what a terrible idea having to pay for car parking and claim back money at the bar. Really!! What for, its just unnecessary hassle for customers.

A Christmas Lunch for 17 people. We were well treated with the food being served promptly. Such minor problems as arose were swiftly and courteously resolved. All present agreed that it was an enjoyable occasion and we all look forward to the next time.

Over the past year this has become our regular for meeting up with friends and eating out. Simon, Adam and the rest of the staff are superb, nothing is ever too much trouble and they're very accommodating. Service is swift and I can honestly say I've not had a bad meal here in all my visits, which I can say is generally weekly at this point. The beer garden is a good size and the bar itself is quite spacious, dotted around the bar there are several large screen TV's to watch a variety of sports. In addition to the bar there is also a function room that can be hired for a multitude of events just ask at the bar for further details. At times it can be quite busy which is down to how popular this place is, but the staff work tirelessly to ensure that service is as efficient as it possibly can be and that their customers leave happy.

Had a meal on the 18/11/23. Have never been here before. It was very busy. But we had a table straight away and we're served quickly. The food was hot and decent for the price. Loved the rocky road sundae and hunters chicken. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very pleasant and kind. Highly recommended. My mother and niece really enjoyed themselves. Food was lovely but we had to wait a while to be served we were standing at the bar for a while and someone came out to serve but served a lady that had just got to the bar but couldn't fault the service after very friendly asked if our meals were OK will be returning again.

Great atmosphere throughout the establishment, Bar attendees had been very informative about car parking information, food was nicely prepared and tasted fresh, enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere throughout the bar and restaurant

Been a few times NEVER had a bad meal fish and chips loved it burger chips not greasy just tasty big potions had pie and chips last visit only issue gravy was rather weak it would have neede a crutyto walk but just a little thing m i shall return and I come down from Merthyr it that nice here

Very, very good. Had a Sunday roast and pleasantly surprised that the veg was not your standard peas and carrots.....sprouts red cabbage, etc....highly recommended.

I rented the conservatory area of the pub last night 4/9/21 I had over 30 guests that came to celebrate my sons birthday and the whole night went without any issues at all. Adam and his team were absolutely amazing. They accommodated our every need and the service was faultless. All meals came out at the same time and was beautiful, which was as I said 30 people that alone deserves 5* but the warmth and welcoming we received was outstanding. Adam you have a team to extremely proud of. We will 1000% be back. Thank you again.

Came to the greenlady 6/7/21. I wish I could give 10 stars the staff went above and beyond for us. The young waitress overheard I was celiac and came straight away with a gluten free menu. The service and kindness was amazing. All members of staff were so happy and helpful I will definitely be going back again keep up the good work.
