Under new ownership as of 2023 (and maybe new name?), this cafe attached to the small garden centre at Llangadog is well worth a stop. Great cakes, specialist coffees and hot chocolates (try the mint aero hot chocolate!) plus hot food and breakfasts. Simple decor, friendly service, definitely worth a visit.

Honestly one of the best little eateries you can go to, especially with the scenic views. The staff have always been lovely and friendly, so no idea where the other review is coming from, and the food is delicious, you can see it is all made fresh with great ingredients? Would recommend if you love home made fresh food on the go!

I have stopped using this chip shop now...good selection of food, friendly staff and a huge portion of chips...unfortunately the oil it is fried in always tastes old !

Took our daughter out for an evening meal when she was home from uni. The restaurant was busy and the staff were struggling to cope. The food was average but a good portion size and came in a timely fashion. A little pricey overall. There was no website for this pub so I couldn't have a look at the menu before arriving . The car park was full of large pot in holes.

Fast food with fries with most dishes if you like that sort of thing. Catering for families on a budget. It's not a quality restaurant for sure. Food is OK Staff are very polite and friendly. Toilet facilities are good. Cash or card facilities.

Very good breakfast and as usual superb value for money. Service was prompt and the food hot. Place was fairly busy and clean and tidy.

Rm226 checked in on the floor that we’re in right now is like haunted, facing the hillside cliff,no proper heater. I have requested at the reception to change the room but they want extra payment per day! Receptionist are quite inconsiderate and not valuing their clients. I think we’re the only guests on this floor, I was sad by the lack of consideration and attention on this matter. No wonder why reviews are extremely negative. Just for this time, adding more later about foods, drinks and services. I will make my stay more relaxing for now

I had small chips and pie, plus a can of drink. The pie was nice, but I had to throw half the chips away - it was clear they had been hanging around a very long time. And the half I ate were not great either. The poor quality of the chips was plain to see, so this is not a case of a genuine mistake. This is instead a level of quality that they are happy to serve their customers. I have supplied a photo of the chips. Although the photo doesn't even do justice - the quality in real life is even worse than it looks on the camera. The can I had was dented and battered. I though it would be OK but when I opened it, it was flat. So that went in the bin also. I have had good food before here, but I've had bad food before as well. Clearly it's luck of the draw. If they have bad/old stock, they are going to serve it to you. That is what's clear. I'd recommend to give this one a miss. If you can travel a couple of miles further, go to the Tumble chip shop instead. I've never had this kind of poor quality there.

Served by a young smiley lad. He was trying to serve us and was interrupted by a chunky/large blonde girl. She was openly rude to him and belittling. We watched her scowling constantly at customers, tutting and making comments under her breath. Considering how ridiculously slow she worked you would of thought that she would be the one that needed a reprimand. Miserable, lazy and unfriendly. On the flip side there was a tall, slim blonde girl. Very friendly and lovely. She zipped around ensuring everything was ok and was really helpful. Food was below average but the meat panini was good albeit greasy. Sausage rolls were average, again greasy. We watched the young lad drop one of the paper bags on the floor, by accident, and step on it. Then he picked it up and put it next to the fresh cooked pasties. Then he used the bag to put another customers food in!! But to be fair he was probably fed up after being spoken to like dirt by the chunky blonde girl. Prices were ok. Just need to sort out the staff. Won't return and won't recommend

Very bland and doesn't taste fresh. I know why. Very very small fish for £9 and very small portion of chips for £5 this was £25 😵 everywhere else in the park is reasonably priced and tastes ok.

Firstly, it is not the fault of the ordinary restaurant/store staff at the Ebbw Vale Morrisons store. Explanation: We are regular shoppers at this store. Over the past few weeks, we have noticed and experienced a gradual decline in store services, from broken entrance doors, uneven floor grids at the entrance security barriers, lack of trolleys, non-functioning hot and cold drinks machines to non existent restaurant services. However, today was unparalleled. Although a Sunday, the restaurant was potentially quite busy, insomuch that a queue of people were waiting at an un-manned till / order point. A call was made requesting staff member to attend the till. While waiting, a number of customers simply walked out. Customers who had been served earlier, wanted to know why they were still waiting 45 minutes later for their food. It was confirmed by one of the two available members of stall that there were indeed only two members of staff present, attempting to cook serve and carry out all other duties including clearing tables and keeping the cutlery tray replenished with teaspoons! When someone dud arrive, it became obvious that the unfortunate young lady had no prior knowledge of the restaurant/kitchen procedures, or menu availability, and had been pressed by desperate supervisors under the control of incompetent and uncaring senior managerial staff to undertake a duty for which they had no training, The queue of customers ordered their requirements in order. After again waiting an unacceptable time, it was announced that the restaurant was closing, and that customers still waiting would be refunded for the orders they had made. Unbelievable! Note: To Morrisons head office. GET A GRIP

Not safe for people with food allergies. None of the staff members had any understanding what gluten was. I had to explain I couldn’t eat bread, flour, wheat etc and they then brought me a salad with couscous. I asked them for a fresh salad but I don’t think they understood how serious an issue this is for me. I have been unwell since. The service was very substandard in other respects. It felt like it was all of their first days at work. I think this cafe would benefit from decent management and training staff. It’s gone really downhill since I remember it from years ago. The cutlery was all dirty, as were the glasses. None of the tables were clean. Really disappointed
