Wow Husband and myself say its the best Cornish pasty we've had Bottom of the pasty was crispy where the juices of the inside had seeped out Made the pasty extra tasty We also had a piece of raspberry and rhubarb slice Was such a moist cake We sat down on the sea front and totally enjoyed our lunch and took in some beautiful views

Absolutely delicious 1/ bacon and mushroom roll 2/ Cornish pasty (steak and ale + traditional one). By far the tastiest food I had in 6 days of hols in Tenby (having also eaten in the 4 top rated restaurants). Great coffee too.

Opted for a vegetable pasty, was served by a pleasant young lady. Pasty was delicious, full of veg and very tasty. Unlike the pasties I bought a couple of days ago from Pembrokeshire pasty shop, this was 1000% better!

My family and I visited here last year and I was so excited to return to Tenby and visit the Cornish Bakehouse again. I was so disappointed and actually quite disgusted at the way we were treated by the staff, especially the older lady. She was extremely rude, abrupt, unfriendly and unwelcoming! She was questioned our food choices as if we were asking for something so obscure… we wanted a sausage roll and a salad box. I definitely won’t be returning next time we visit Tenby.

Today we were served by a lady and I have never experienced such a rude atmosphere. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with dirty looks and a frown. Not once did this woman or her colleague smile or look up at us properly. We asked for our food and had to repeat ourselves several times as the lady was almost questioning our choices and rolled her eyes several times. This is a shame as this place was recommended to us on our trip to Tenby. We will not be returning again and nor should anyone else.

Very disappointed when I cut my spinach and riocotta pastie in half … where’s the filling? Waste of money!!! Won’t be revisiting!

If you’re staying twenty yards away from this bakery, it’s hard to resist early morning visits for takeaway coffees , bacon baps, sausage baps and pastries. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food (the pasties are great too!) A real gem but my waistline is glad I don’t live there permanently.

My husband used this place most days for our lunch which we took across and had in the gardens of St.Mary's Church. Their food is excellent, the queue might seem long but you order at one counter and then collect your food from a hatch and it goes down very quick. A great selection of rolls. pies wraps and cakes that really were just too yummy.

Hugely disappointing. You would expect a £5+ Steak & Ale pastie to have more than just a filling of predominantly potato and very little meat. I was expecting a rich gravy but there was none with the filling dry and languid. Poor show.

Bought take outs here a couple of times. The pasties are excellent. Also bought a couple of breakfast sandwiches which I preferred to Greggs. The cakes and hot drinks are also good.

The worst sausage roll I've ever had, whilst the pastry was crisp and flaky the sausage meat filling was awful, pale pink mush, it went in the bin.

Excellent selection of pasties and cakes, all reasonably priced. A good place to stock up on lunch time supplies. The Cornish heavy cakes are particularly recommended and filling! Staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient.

Stopped by for a few bacon buns - we tried 3 different buns and everyone LOVED them! They were all cooked fresh to order, the staff was friendly and patient, and the orders were made without issue (we have 1 with an egg and dairy allergy). We had to wait about 5 min for our order, but not an issue at all. We also got a couple yum yums which were delicious! We will definitely go back!

The pastries and cakes look great but I'd rather go without than be served by the woman we had the misfortune of encountering. She was jaw droppingly rude and would be better placed out the back mixing the sour dough.

Ordered 2 paninis, quite simple. Mine arrived within 5 minutes, my wife’s didn’t arrive so we waited, after about 10 minutes we were asked what we were waiting for , we were told there had been a mix up and the other panini had not been made so they would do it now , another 5 minutes and we were asked what we ordered again , and after another long wait another staff member asked what we were waiting for. It was at this point we said just leave it now and we requested a refund - given it to us in cash even though we had paid by card - no apologies. Extremely poor service- would not recommend.

Bad decision by someone. Coffee machines changed to preset ones rather than a traditional barista style. Cannot have extra hot coffee so was lukewarm at best and took 3 times as long. Bring back the old machines! Staff fed up with everyone asking for extra hot coffee! Sorry but we will be going to Costa across the road from now on.

No issues with service (food arrives quickly) however the quality of the food and ingredients are below par. Spaghetti Bolognese like a school dinner. A shame really as it's nicely done out.

Went to the middlegate cafe today with my partner. Had a lovely meal, freshly cooked. The owner was very friendly and we had a nice chat with him. Will call again next time we visit. Thank you.
