Great family-run place in a great location. A very comfortable stay with great food and a great vibe! Thank you to Martina and the team for looking after me for the weekend!
I decided to take my wife and toddler here yesterday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Service was very quick, which is great when you have a toddler at the table.
The thai green curry was perfect, and the rest of the food was amazing too.
Lovely, the food is light, fulfilling and dellicately delicious. The tasting menu with wine pairing left me feeling replenished and energised rather than stuffed full.
The staff are informative, attentive, and lovely and made our stay very enjoyable .
The Whitebrook feels like a doorway to the wild lands that surround and nourish it. Wonderful.
My husband and I ordered two tasting menus with one wine pairing. The food was delicious, and the wine pours were generous. The pacing was a bit faster than I expected, but it worked out well since I was quite hungry. By the eighth course, I started to wonder if I’d feel full by the end—but then the lamb broth arrived, followed by the main course, and we left with happily full stomachs. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Chips overdone. Small portions. Curry sauce didn't cover the top of the chips? Not to mention the sauce I did have was bland and tasteless. Had to smother it in salt.
Living off past reviews it seems.
Girls serving more interested in talking
Getting orders wrong
Food not very good
Run out of peas and laughing because they had run out
Chips were half cooked
Absolutely outstanding - a real hidden gem on the edge of Swansea's central shopping district. Authentic French cuisine prepared to perfection in an unassuming, relaxed and quiet environment. Family owned and operated and although not exactly offering 'everyday' pricing, it's far from exorbitantly expensive for what it is, and when compared to other establishments.
It's a perfect venue for family events/celebrations, meet-ups with friends - you'll be glad you've found it and will soon be recommending it to all of your friends!
Decent pub, kinda in the middle of a small village. Good drinks and service, the bar keeps were so fun, they made me an alcoholic free shot to have to with my mates.
We eat here a lot! The burgers are always delicious and we love the rosemary salted fries and Asian slaw. Last night we hired Upper Mews for a private birthday function and it was a brilliant venue - ideal for 40-50 guests 👌Thanks guys!
