This place is so lovely the food is nice and people who run it are nice too

Beautiful location. Lovely pleasant staff. Curry would of been better if had more sauce which left rice quite dry to eat other than that would visit again

Spent a very pleasant couple of hours here having lunch with friends. Lovely setting and great atmosphere. Menu is varied, food freshly prepared and delicious, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend 👌

We came here in early February after a day out in Cardiff for my birthday. Unfortunately we hit a pothole on the way and ended up with a flat tyre. We had our meal (delicious and very well priced) Sadly overshadowed by the car, landlady and her staff were lovely, checked in on us offering any assistance. The chef helped with the tyre. But the 'filler' didn't work. We ended back at the pub when we only made it a mile up the road. Bless the staff, they went out of their way to make us comfortable while we waited for a lift. Even offered a room to us. Thank you all for looking after us 🙏

Decided at short notice to stop off here for a meal on the way to Brecon and we were glad we did! Staff were very accommodating and made a fuss of the dogs, who were also very welcome. The 18th century pub was a great find, road a little narrow and pot holey to the pub, but the van managed it no problem. Huge car park.

Visited restaurant for Sunday lunch. A great welcome from staff, all dressed in their winter wonderland lederhosen. Beautifully cooked Welsh sirloin strips. Coming back soon for a choice from their a la carte

On our first stay at The Greyhound Inn we found loads of parking, helpful staff (who love dogs!) and a clean and comfortable bedroom. Added was some magical outdoor lights and beautiful inside Christmas decorations, then, last but not least, it was all topped with tasty food. All this ensures that we'll certainly return again! Thank you.

Lovely and accommodating staff, great speedy service. Only popped in for a drink and the staff made room for us despite a very busy service. We were then allowed to move to a more cosy table without any fuss. Ended up having some snacks which were so tasty too!! Thanks guys 🎄

Beautiful meal, only issue was had a full glass of wine spilt on me at the start of our visit, and although the waitress apologised and I didn't want to make a big issue, sitting through a meal in a soaking wet woolen dress wasn't the best. The amazing meal helped compensate, but maybe the offer of a complimentary glass of wine would have gone a long way.

Arrived after a long drive in blizzard conditions. It was so lovely to find refuge in a toasty warm room which was very dog friendly. The staff were very helpful and kind. My evening meal was delicious and the pork schnitzel of huge proportions. Breakfast was equally delicious. I had a lovely stay. A little haven from the extremely chilly weather. Thank you.

we came here for my husbands birthday with the family. Certainly worth the drive. beautiful lit gardens, inside was just as lovely. We were given a private table ,and the service was impeccable ,friendly staff, fabulous food (with a capital F). nothing to fault at all. thankyou.

Afternoon tea was really disappointing. Mismatched crockery and not all was bone China. Not a lot of food or choice. Won't be going again.

We have been on a few occasions and I have found the family atmosphere from the staff my wife and I love this food is top notch and feel it's not overpriced for the quality Kelly and Steve are like Family to us we go for the camaraderie of all the staff love the Greyhound Inn

Everything great but enormous noise from the highway

Another super lunch at the Greyhound - this is the 3rd year for our group Summer lunch and it continues to impress. Good food, great atmosphere and above all Kelly and her team really know how to look after us and make us feel welcome. Can't wait till next Summer!

I wouldn’t bother! Rude owners from the start!

5 friends went for a birthday meal and the quality of the food was poor and costly. A friend ordered a burger meal. The bap was red and the burger was red raw in the middle. Another two friends ordered lamb and it was shredded lamb and did not taste like lamb. The meals delivered were not has described on the menu and when a friend mentioned her food allergy, she was told that she should have mentioned her allergy prior to the food being delivered and it was not her job to tell customers about allergies. Unfortunately, the meals differed to that on the menu and what was actually ordered. The managers attitude was extremely defensive and she presented as not being able to cope with difficult situations. My friends and I were polite at all time. The following day, my friend spoke to the owner, Kelly and was compounded by Kelly shouting and screaming at her. The food and service were diabolical.

Great service although desserts are overpriced for the size of portion. Put heaters on for us which was lovely.

Had a lovely lunch there yesterday. Fabulous food, wonderful location and surroundings. Friendly staff, our waitress was really lovely. The food really was special, probably the best chips I’ve ever had, along with perfectly cooked fish in batter. Not at all greasy. Fish pie and veg, also perfect. You get your own selection of condiments, all with clean tops! We will be back soon, it’s a great pub menu, and the welcome was lovely. 👍

Sunday lunch, nice food but incredibly small portions and slow service

We didn't stay so could not rate that..but the evening meal was definitely 'WOW'... amazing food and very polite staff..what a find... keep doing what you're doing...amazing...

Very lovely and helpful staff, nice athmosphere and design.

We stayed 2 nights (room 6) and couldn't fault anything. The pub is lovely and traditional with a good selection of beers. We had dinner on the 1st night; there was plenty to choose from and the food was delicious. The rooms are in a separate building to the pub which we liked. Our room was very spacious with a modern bathroom. Our only negative was that the TV was small for the size of the room. We had breakfast on both mornings which was fabulous. Excellent quality ingredients and presentation. Special mention goes to all the staff we encountered, everyone was so lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be booking again when we return to the area 😊
