Fantastico in Monmouthshire

A stunning little restaurant with a great variety of meals. We both had pasta on this occasion and were very pleased, mixed seafood spaghetti & chicken, smoked bacon and mushroom tagliatelle. We will be back to try the pizza soon.

Had a vegetarian pizza which I m convinced they had run outside and picked up from Iceland. Tasteless and I left half of it. Vegetarian options were limited. The environment felt cramped with no privacy and I felt we were having a 4 way conversation with the couple next to us. I did express my disappointment there and then and they knocked 10% off. Thankyou but actually that doesn't in anyway compensate for a disappointing meal.

I didn't taste anything fresh, chicken was overcooked, pasta wasn't fresh. Overall quality of food was 2 star at best.

Just a wonderful experience from the moment you enter the restaurant. Thank you. Takeaways great too

Small eatery, cosy, basic but decent grub. Usually quiet when I’ve been but I quite like that! One of my favourite places to eat in Usk.

The inside of this restaurant is very pleasant and is much smarter than the rather garish exterior. We chose from the selection on the fixed lunch menu @£10 per head - any pasta, or a set chicken or a fish dish. We chose spaghetti carbonara and the chicken dish. Both were of a good size and well presented. My carbonara was absolutely delicious, but a bit cold, and so I asked if it could be warmed a little. Unfortunately when it was returned it had been completely overcooked and was now a solid mass of omlette and spaghetti. I managed to eat it but it was pretty unpleasant. The waiter explained that was a problem with carbonara, but surely there is a middle ground. It looked as though it had been completely nuked in the microwave. The desserts looked home made and were equally delicious. We are tempted to return, but I'll avoid the carbonara next time.

it's the best Italian restaurant in Wales, I haven't found any better. “fantastic” food quality, also really friendly staff, they welcome the customer with smile. I will definitely be back to eat Italian in Usk.

My friend and I came here last night for pizza but ended up buying Seabass with king prawns and potatoes the Seabass was lovely, I recommend booking as it was very busy after 7pm,next time I will try something else,the staff are lovely.

Lovely little restaurant, the food is so flavourful and you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. The cocktails were amazing too and the staff were absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended!

Just been for lunch, ordered from the 2 course lunch special. The Prawns starter and Sea Bass for mains was delicious, hubby had the risotto which was a delight. The homemade Tiramisu deserves a special mention, amazing. Overall delighted with the whole experience, and will definitely recommend to family and friends. We will be back.

Came and had the set menu and the food was delicious, great portions sizes, great value for money and great service

As a table of 8 we visited on a Saturday night for my birthday meal, no pre order was required. As we walked it the atmosphere was lovely and had a warm welcome. We got seated and promptly got offered drinks and they had a very nice selection! I chose a pint of moretti which was perfect. They had a very nice selection of meals on the menu and a very tempting specials board!. The portion sizes were generous and tasted fantastic, I had the 10 ounce ribeye steak off the specials board which I wouldn't normally order at an Italian restaurant but it was one of the best I've had for a long time including at the Celtic manor and other well known places. On the whole we had a very enjoyable relaxing evening and we will certainly be returning!. Thanks for a memorable birthday evening 🤌

Only called in for coffee and cheesecake on a rainy afternoon but both were delicious. If I was in the area again I would definitely have a proper meal. Service was very good and the restaurant was clean, comfortable and tidy.

It was an amazing meal ! - especially the Arancini balls and the pizza ! Service was amazing as well and they helped us catch a taxi later in the night and even chased it up with a phone call when the taxi was late. They even stayed a bit later to make sure we got a taxi and were not left alone in the street. Basically this was the best service I have ever had. Highly recommend!

We popped in for a quick bite and were so impressed with this lovely restaurant. Sat outside in a pretty courtyard. The food was delicious and staff could not be more welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Fantastico experience. Best Italian restaurant I can remember going to. The food was really, really good and very reasonably priced. The drinks menu is extensive and i liked that they had lager on tap. My wife and I took my 5 and 7 year old boys there. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It gets really busy here so you need to book in advance.

Excellent service and excellent quality. Food Well seasoned . We chose from the lunchtime £12.95 2 course menu. We will definitely be dining again at this place and have already recommended to others. A little gem well worth a visit. Please book to avoid disappointment.

Fantastico lived up to their name! We ordered takeway - food came well packaged and generous portions. Food was very good - clean plates all round! Normally I would have taken photos, but was so excited to try everything it was nearly all gone before I realised I'd forgotten... Update: Ordered again, and remembered to take photos this time!

Glad to have found this great friendly gem in Usk after a hard day, who accommodated us just before the kitchen closed for the evening. Visited again last night and it wasn't a dream - it is FANTASTICO!

Last minute Friday night takeway decision. The best decision of the week. Ordering on the app was easy. Staff were friendly and polite when I collected my order. Portions were good sized, well cooked and piping hot. The food was delicious. Fantastico definitely lived up to its name. Would highly recommend a visit.
