Lovely afternoon with the ladies guild spent there, excellent service lovely food thoroughly recommend it,, just had another lovely meal and a pleasant evening, highly recommend it 😊

Today had prawns 1st with extra bread then beef main meal again fantastic , not been there for few months but staff remember us . Graham

Food and staff fantastic, king prawns in white wine sauce out of this world, ask for extra bread mop up the sauce. If you don't know what you fancy see the young guy see what he recommends. G just had beef dinner fantastic

Very packed tables are too close as though they seem a bit desperate no space for a conversation. Very dim lighted. Bit depressing for a meal out when having to spend so much money on basics. Food is very bland not many spices I had to ask for more (that i was charged for). Wouldn't recommend. If you have money to waste its a nice fast food place otherwise don't expect anything special. Not child friendly. Also says they close by 9 sometimes 10 although my friend went at 19:45 and it was closed with a singular man smoking outside. Dissappointed unfortunately. Since the owner has replied accusing me of lying I was just giving a review of my experience and this goes to show how customers will be treated at this establishment. I think the owners words speak for themselves. Again this owner is making me feel extremely uncomfortable making terrible accusations about me because he can not own up to the truth. I have no need to send anybody there at all and it is true my friend was there at 19.45 and it was closed with staff smoking outside on tables. The reason I have said it is not child friendly as it is very dim cluttered and tables are extremely close together very crammed. As for take away and delivery food is always spilled and bag ripped. I hope this owner now stops throwing accusations around only because I put a review and just takes it and makes changes . I hope nobody else will have to deal with this. It can really cause peoples mental health to stoop being treated like that .

Spaghetti bolanaise was a little to salty, the Tiramasu was to die for, amazing as always 😁

My friend and I were searching for a great dinner spot that was open on the bank holiday, and we're so glad we discovered this place! The staff was wonderful, the service was efficient, and the meals we ordered were absolutely outstanding. It was one of the best dinners we've had so far on our trip! Judging by the menu, I don't think you could go wrong with any dish here.

Very good all round. Pizzas actually taste like pizza rather than tomato & cheese cake. Pasta well-cooked, seafood inside tasty and not overdone. Garlic bread thin but tasty. Salads curiously good. Will definitely order from again.

Visited this place last week to watch an Elvis tribute Artist . The best night out ever !!! The food was incredible ! The services was first class ! A warm family welcome . will definitely visit this place again soon . Thoroughly recommend .

Had a fantastic evening here tonight with close friend and my 3 children. Atmosphere was relaxed and fun, staff all very welcoming and accommodating. Am always impressed with the Manager (or may be the Owner, not sure). He is so personable and appears very committed to gaining honest feedback on the food. The food was genuinely outstanding, as a group we all ordered different starters and mains and every one of them was excellent. I cannot find fault with any aspect and it will continue to be my restaurant of choice for any occasion. Thank you 😊

All 7 of us dined here on a busy Saturday evening. Very busy with a buzzing atmosphere, you could almost imagine being in Italy Lovely food and good service Only spoiler and not the fault of the restaurant, we received a parking ticket from Parking Eye Scum Ltd overstaying in the Aldi car park, which we didn’t realise. No wonder the high streets are dead!

Although it was a quiet time when we visited Papi's, we still had a lovely time. The welcome was warm & and friendly, and the service throughout was first class, especially when they found out that we were there to celebrate a birthday. Couldn't fault any of the dishes, all presented nicely and in good time. All amenities as you would expect with hot water and soap plus accessibility for the disabled. Thank you for a great 3 hr experience, and already we have recommended the restaurant to family. I'm absolutely sure that we will be coming back.

Very good restaurant in center of Caldicot. Wife and son always go for the Calzone. I have had the Ravioli, Calzone and a Pizza. All very tasty and no complaints, although for me the portion size of the Ravioli was not enough, that is a me problem not a dish or restaurant problem. We have eaten in, and had something delivered, no issues with any of it. We will be back, and I recommend everybody to try it.

Had fabulous 74th birthday meal at Papi's, Caldicot. Great service, lovely food. Special little place for us ! ....... and now,.... A fantastic 75th birthday celebration. Truly fabulous food and service! ... could'nt wish for any more.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal last night with excellent customer service. Was visiting the area and Papi's stood out. Everything you would expect from a classic Italian, dessert and coffee were excellent and they were happy to accommodate a couple of requests. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Stopped here for a small detour! Such a cute little bistro - loved the simplicity of the cafe. Our order included vegetarian pizza and pesto pasta, it was delicious.

Service was very slow on a week day when the restaurant was not busy. Ordered Chocolate Soufflé for desert after dinner, they served me Chocolate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream. When I told them that this is not Soufflé, the manager inform this is what they serve as Soufflé. Total Disappointment.

Had an absolutely fantasic evening here! as a woman with autism I find eating out quite a stressful ordeal most of the time, but I was at ease as soon as I walked in. the staff are so friendly and attentive, the food was completely flawless and the general atmosphere was fun, warm and inviting, I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you for a brilliant night and I will definitely be returning 😊

Very good menu, pricing and availability early on a Sunday. A great impromptu birthday dinner! Knocked off the one star for atmosphere as we were unlucky to be seated next to a group that were not just noisy, but seemingly having some kind of verbal fight! Once they cleared out though it was 5* all the way.

Beautiful gluten free range basically anything you want gluten free and it doesn't even taste gluten free puts domino's to shame and good prices with a speedy service

Had a really fabulous lunch at this gem of a restaurant in Caldicot. The food was great and everyone there was very friendly. The menu has been created so there is something for every taste pallet while still retaining their own style. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Had take away for my daughter’s birthday which was wrongly delivered. Thanks for the lovely staffs for looking after the customers and making it more special. Lovely foods especially the Rissotto and the pizza . Really appreciate.

We visited on New Year’s Eve for lunch. We all ordered different food, all our dishes were delicious . I’ve eaten there a lot with friends, it was the first time with my Husband. As it was a Sunday they served roast dinner, but also did full menu. The restaurant was the busiest I’ve seen it, but the food was the same high quality as ever, & I can’t recommend enough. Such friendly staff.

In the centre of Caldicot. Car park within 5 minutes walk. Pleasant, clean restaurant. Good variety on the menu and the food was very good. Service was excellent and polite. Waiting time for our food was equally impressive.

Food delivered fast, was lovely and hot. Love their food have ordered many times before and will do again.

Pizza was superior to Domino's, but the praise unfortunately ends there. The bacon and ham were excessively salty even for bacon and ham, and the chicken was unseasoned, so tasted of nothing alongside it. The base and crust were quite generic and lacking flavour, but were well cooked enough not to be soggy. I probably wouldn't order from here again, so my quest for a good pizza in the Caldicot area continues.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Food is amazing, Went for Sunday lunch for the first time and it was hot and well presented. If I had to pick one small fault I would say the cauliflower was not cooked enough in the cauli cheese, had a job to cut it.

Prawns were missing off of one of the meals. Portions were tiny besides the pizza and pasta. Surf and turf was tiny and only had like 3 prawns and 2 tiny pieces of squid. I paid over £80 for 4 meals and 2 sides so I was expecting it be good. However it wasn’t the best meal.

A gem in Caldicot! Visited the place for sunday lunch, can get packed quite quick so do recommend to come by early or make a reservation. There are lots of selection in the menu plus the sunday roast option every suncday. We had the most beautiful calamari in my life, with a light and not oily batter that is similar to the way they do calamari in Greece. The mains were perfectly flavoured and the sweets were just a perfect conclusion to a good meal. They had pistachio profiteroles, and ofcourse tiramisu both of which I highly recommend!

We are so lucky to have such an amazing Italian here in Caldicot. The menu never fails to deliver, the fish dishes are fab, the steaks cooked to order are perfect and the puddings!! You must try the cheesecake.

I must say I spent my birthday lunch here and it was amazing. The food was incredible the pasta ragu is to die for their lemoncello cocktail was the best I have ever tasted and as for desserts I only had room for cheecake but would have had everything. Service is awesome .

Lovely place! Cozy, with amazing classical music which you don't come across often. Super quick table service. They are happy to prepare Vegan meals for you there. Amazing staff, both waitresses and chefs+bartender!

FABULOUS! we found this fab restaurant by chance for lunch with friends a few months ago. They do the most amazing steak sandwich which is absolutely delicious! We were disappointed to find the steak sandwich was not on the menu yesterday when we visited, but they made this delicious lunch especially for us! Absolutely to die for! Amazing staff gorgeous fresh food. It's a five star review from us. X

Absolutely loved it here, didn't book but they were able to get a table for 2, the service was brilliant and the food was even better, I loved my spaghetti carbonara and my date enjoyed her ravioli, will definitely be coming back soon x

The foods is delicious and fairly priced. Good portions. Not to small and not so big that you wouldn't be tempted by a pudding :) have eaten inside and had take away.
