A brilliant place. Found accidentally for a late lunch. What a find! We would go back for the dip alone. Freshly cooked food and salads. Our favourite was the beef kofta, the chicken was also delicious. Dog friendly outside too. Thank you 😊

Fantastic meal with Fantastic service

As we were around and wanting to have a nice dinner, nearby. we (4) were walking around to see what Abergavenney could offer. We didn't't want to goi for an 'ordinairy' pub, but were looking for som different food. When we walking by Mezze Me, it appeared interesting and having checked the menu (outside) it appeared more interesting. So we entered..., a friendly welcome and we were guided to a table. A nice private table. So, we ordered a few drinks and some food. I started with a Turkish tea. Which tasted nice, but I would not have minded if the taste would have been stronger/more explicit. A detail. We started with a Cold Sharing Mezza Plate, which existed of a 4 dipping bowls and nice fresh crusty, sliced bread. This tasted very nice indeed. For mains we ordered the Roasted Vegetables (VG), the Kofte Meatballs and the Chicken Shish (I believe). These tasted very very nice indeed, all. The accompanying (on the dishes) salad was cut fine and marinated perfectly. The rice (with Orzo) was prepared as it should be, soft and a bit sticky to serve in scoops. Correctly salted. For dessert we just opted for 1 Baklava with ice cream. Everything was very nice. The ice cream wash special, good, with a hint of Turkish delight.

We had a valentines meal here it was lush. From the welcome drink to just the right amount of attentiveness it was perfect. Food was lovely and we shall be back. Turkish delight was gorgeous! Thank you ☺️

A nice restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a variety of starters, they were all good, the smoked aubergine, was a little too smokey for my taste, the spicy Turkish sausage was excellent. I personal think that the starters are a little expensive for the potions that are served, but well worth a visit.

Just fabulous 👌 beautiful freshly prepared grilled meats and houmous and bread with all the dips.. yeh we spend way to much here but all the food is filling but not greasy. Its so good definitely a must try. Very friendly staff and the sit in is so cosy. I find that the prices are great for the mount of food you get often we have plenty left for tomorrow as well. Unfortunately don't have any pics as we normally tuck in as soon as the food come haha

If you are vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater, there is an abundance of choice on the menu that is delicious! Cosy seating and lovely atmosphere. Loved everything about it! Thank you Mezze Me. 👌🏼

I’m from Turkey but I have never waited similar taste. We ordered Gyro Doner and Lahmacun. Firstly lahmacun came and it was like in 5-6 minutes.It is nice to have fast service but the trick is a lahmacun can not be served in 5-6 minutes at all if it is not frozen or prepared from yesterday.This is not a fast food product.The taste was 2/10 Gyro Doner ; I saw that gyro was not working and I asked to waiter is it ready for serve before I have ordered and he said me that yes it is ready .Gyro came and it was cold!! I have asked from waiter please change that cause of Doner also can not be cold if it is also not frozen ready food. They changed the plate and the difference is just waiting for 4-5 minutes more and having same so I couldn’t eat! I have told to their manager this is not a Mediterranean food at all and it was terrible nail to top. He said me they will refund the gyro while I gave %20 tips 🤦🏻‍♂️ I lost time and I was really so hungry but instead of saying ;Sorry ,we will improve our foods ,the way their excuse was refunding the half of $50 😀 it was just a disappointment

One of my latest favourite places! A really delicious Turkish menu, many things I had not tried before and loved. Chilli fried dates, Sigara Boregi, Babaganush, Calamari and more! Nice cosy atmosphere and kind friendly service.

We had a fabulous meal at Mezze Me . Huge, delicious portions with wonderful, friendly service. We had the meat platter which we would highly recommend. We had a lovely day out in Abergavenny and this was definitely a highlight. Thanks to all for making it so special.

Popped in for a spontaneous spot of lunch, absolutely stunning food. We had a selection of dishes and each one was full of flavour. I highly recommend the Spicey Sausage! For dessert we shared the Baklava with Turkish Delight Ice Cream, wow, game changer

The food seemed very fresh and exceptional quality. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly, the salad was nice and fresh. Also found the Turkish tea to be very refreshing

What a delightful restaurant! We went to Mezze Me as a small group for lunch, and ordered a selection of mezze to share, it definitely did not disappoint! We had a variety of dishes which were plentiful and flavoursome, especially the Sucuk in a delicious sauce (mopped up with plenty of bread!) The calamari was cooked to perfection and every other dish was fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere was great, we ordered a bottle of the house red to share as recommended by the very knowledgeable lady working front of house, she also recommended a soft drink of white grape and apricot which was really refreshing! Will definitely return to this restaurant with it's relaxed atmosphere, great food at a very reasonable price with friendly, knowledgeable staff!

My mother and I were looking for an early dinner at 4pm and we were welcomed. Lovely head of house who took our order quickly and explained us the different items on the menu. We followed her suggestion and it was delicious. She also packed us up the food we had left so we could take it away. Would definitely recommend. Lovely spot to go with family or for a date.

We took our visitors here for dinner on Saturday evening. What a lovely little place with friendly staff and delicious food. We ordered a wide selection of mezze and a few main courses, then desserts and coffee. Also wine and beer, incl. non-alcoholic, which were very good too. We’ve eaten in other Turkish restaurants in the area but this is definitely the best we’ve found. We’ll be back - highly recommended!

I love Turkish food and Mezze Me is some of the best Turkish food I have had. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating, answering our questions about the food.

Small group of friends enjoyed a relaxed evening with excellent food and service. Staff were willing to give advice on the menu, meet the needs of a varied group, and accommodate bill splitting. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this place sometime last year whilst on a Mountain biking trip. Now its the go to place whenever we come away. The food is better than any other Turkish establishment i have been too. So far every item i have tried has been full of flavour, and the rice for such a simple dish, is like a party in the mouth. On top of this the staff have always been so accomodating and friendly!

Attended Mezzo Me with my folks today. The starters of Sausage and Smoked Aubergine were very good, as was the Chicken Shish and Minced Lamb kebab. However, the Lamb Chops my Mum ordered were overcooked. When we made the waiter aware of this his reply was a short "OK". No apology at all. The meal was rather overpriced, especially the 2 small soda waters equating to £3.80. My Father and I enjoyed the food, but my Mum was disappointed, both with the food and the aloof attitude of the waiter.

We had lunch here today and it was really lovely. That staff are welcoming warm and friendly and the food is very authentic and so tasty. I had halloumi kebabs and my husband had kofte. Both were generous portions and delicious. We have had takeaway food on may occasions from here but this is the first sit down meal. We highly recommend it and are looking forward to returning.

Called in for a sharing lunch for two, chose 4 small plates, figs and chilli, king prawns, calamari and hummus with bread. It was all delicious and freshly cooked. The staff were warm and friendly, lovely relaxed experience and also great value, will definitely go back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

We walked the streets of Abergavenny and we lucky enough to book a table for a few nights later. After a warm welcome, we sat down to receive good advice when ordering and then had one of the best Turkish meals we have ever eaten....

Friendly staff and amazing flavor in all their dishes. It is a smaller restaurant so can only handle parties of around six people, but a lovely experience all around.

We had a great meal, shared some Mezze as starters and all the mains were delicious. Draught Efes is a real treat but there are also Turkish wines to try. Good selection of vegetarian options as well as the grilled meats. Easy to see why it was awarded best Turkish restaurant in Wales.

We stopped off here today for some mezzes and a beer while shopping in Abergavenny.A great,friendly little Turkish restaurant in the heart of the town.We had a hot and cold vegetarian platter,which had a delicious selection and was plenty for 2.The baba ganoush and humous was lovely,as was the haloumi,falafels,salad etc.Great service,and staff.Good value.Would reccomend.
