The food is very delicious, and the staff are hardworking, which I truly appreciate. However, there are a few areas that need attention.
Iāve noticed that sometimes hygiene standards arenāt properly followed. On a few occasions, I saw staff scratching their heads and then preparing shawarma without washing their hands, which is concerning.
Additionally, the toilet door opens directly into the restaurant, and thereās often an unpleasant smell coming from it.
Another issue Iāve encountered is during peak hours when there are many customers. The staff sometimes prepare orders without following the proper portion sizes. For example, when I order two servings, they often add only one.
I hope these issues can be addressed because the food is great, and Iād love to continue visiting!

Came in to see the band on two team where brilliant the young girl on cocktail bar and her sister who was clearly tables . emptying the bins ,and checking the bingo tickets . Both where Stars .
Following a disappointing breakfast experiend here a couple of weeks ago we decided to put this behind ud and try an evening meal with friends.
We reserved a table for four at 7:15 pm on a Friday night. Upon arrival, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other couple dining. They left shortly after, leaving us as the sole guests. We ordered four meals, but had to settle for second choices due to multiple menu items being unavailable. To our disbelief, we were also unable to order desserts, as the chef had shut down the kitchen halfway through our meals!
By 9:00 pm, the only staff remaining was a single barmaid covering both the bar and the bar in the dining area. For a significant period, she was unavailable to attend to customers as she appeared to be distracted by two girl friendsāone of whom was openly vaping in the bar. At one point, both friends were behind the bar and also in what appeared to be a storage room between the two bars. What followed was a loud, hostile argument between the two women, filled with offensive language so extreme that it is unsuitable to repeat.
Around 10:00 pm, the barmaid approached us, offered a half-hearted apology for the disturbance, and informed us that the pub was closing. This experience was far from the quality we had expected and left us deeply offended and dissatisfied. We will never return to this establishment again.

Amazing food...perfectly cooked. The chef sat with us for a chat and was really nice...loved it so much we ate there 2 nights in a row whilst staying in the campsite for the weekend.
100% recommend this place.
Has a function room also so good for events
So nice , ordered soup which came with savoury Welsh cakes ( cheese and leeks) we are gluten free so expected flabby gf bread , but the cook griddled two gf Welsh cakes for us! Home made soup and Welsh cakes what a treat. Could have wider choice of gf cakes but excellent coffee in beautiful refectory in lovely St Davidās. Not haut cuisine but really good cafe hence the 5 stars.

What a lovely pub! From the minute we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. Lots of pubs say they're dog friendly but this one genuinely is. And the food was top notch - delicious and great value for money. Five stars well deserved!
