Fusion King in Ceredigion

My wife said to visit for a "treat" and I'll admit I was a little dubious, but she was right, the food was an absolute delight and fantastic value for money. The beef rendang was tasty and spicy and melt in the mouth.

It was pretty great I mean you get more than you pay for and the potion sizes are good too over all just a good place to eat

Are here twice whilst visiting from the midlands. A great variety of foods. Didn't have to wait long for food. Food was delicious. And the portion size for how much you pay?! Amazing. Great value for money and delicious food.

Really good food at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, good service for the style of location (it's not fine dining) A bit lacking on atmosphere, prefer to takeaway than eat in.

Best food in Aberystwyth, no contest. Very reasonable prices and fantastic friendly service, every time. No1 place for food in town.

Very good value and tasty fusion dishes. Non traditional combinations of all your favourite takeout dishes, eg pork belly ho fun which I’ve never seen but was happy to order. I asked for extra spicy and they delivered, would recommend for a easy meal when you’re hungry but don’t want a fancy sit down.

The food is phenomenal and the range is amazing. Always have to treat myself whenever I come to Aberystwyth! Would recommend trying anything and everything on the menu

Place looks does not meet the reality. At first glance u could think else, but the results are great. Food was fantastic, service was great, only down side was, it was not open longer tham 21.00 and crispy pork was sold out :). And it could be cleaner inside, but it was closing hour, so... Definitely recommended! PS: Always a good sign when locals come visit.

Quick snack, great food. Served I boxes. Cutlery available. Great taste and good portion. Boxes were a good size. Very popular for take away. A fair number of tables inside for dining in too

We visited for lunch. Very nice udon soup. And the crispy pork brlly- one of the best I ever had. I definitely recommend this place. Just keep in mind that this place does not take cards.

Rocked up at 4pm on a Sunday & was treated to a fantastic mixed vegetable udon (spicy). Amazing food, great menu & really friendly, helpful staff. This is my new go-to spot.

We were lucky enough to come here first in the evening when the place has some bustle and buzz. Otherwise you could be deceived by its appearance into giving this place a miss. That would be a mistake - the wide-ranging menu (not always a promising sign) is consistently good - the food is very tasty with the asian-inspires dishes a particular strength, and there are options a-plenty for even the most fussy eater. The food seems largely to be prepared fresh which at peak times means this isn't quite "fast" food, but it is well worth the wait.

The stir fried udon noodles with pork belly (or prawn) is one of the best meals I've ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend trying it.

Always good food. Staff are friendly. Wait times can be a little long if phoned it. Half an hour I was told last time for a rice box. Prices have gone up recently, and they never seem to have some menu items. Haven't been able to order crispy pork belly any time I've been there for over 6 months. But overall a good place.

Decent food that's fast and good value for money. Beef curry udon noodles were tasty, King Prawn Ho Fun a little bit lacking in flavour but we're much better once some chilli oil had been added. Crispy pork belly was great as a side dish. It's cash only and most people seemed to be getting takeout. Looking forward to returning to working my way through the rest of the huge menu.

Nice food but feel ripped off by the portion sizes . You need to order 2 to be fed properly.

7 prawns in the prawn pad thai dish, and veggie dishes your paying top dollar, it was tasty but I always judge a place by how much seafood they include in a dish.The place was spotless and busy but it just felt stingy on the ingredients.

Brilliant selection of different food, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, British and Indonesia, excellent service, really quick food to the table and really good value! I would definitely recommend if in Aberystwyth 👍🏻 I wish we had one where we live in Oxfordshire 👍🏻

They could spend little more time on cleaning and welcoming the customers. Yep, its a fast food service but which offers dine in- so cleanliness could have been better. The noodle soup is way too much for a person and where the Pad thai noodles could have been bigger portion by 15-20%. (In my opinion) I would recommend PAD THAI NOODLES for anyone who wants to try something spicy and tasty.

Just had the mixed vegetable udon. Really tastes amazing. The best Japanese noodles I've tasted. Will definitely come again.

Staying with friends in town who raved about how great the food was here. Wasn't disappointed. Really awesome, tasty food with fast service, good prices and portion sizes. Definitely give it a try.

Open on a Sunday afternoon, which is more than any other takeaway in Aberystwyth! Fantastic, well seasoned thoughtfully paired food, huge variety of options. Top stuff, will be visiting again soon!

I can’t give above 5 stars for this I would give 10 if I could - the food is superb every time, the only recommendation I have for them is to accept card payments as it can be a chore having to get cash out every time I want food from here and has put me off going in the past for something easier

The Wraps are really nice and filling. Have also tried the mongolian beef and would recommend.

Good value and very tasty! I ordered Korean chicken and chips and hubby had pork noodles, didn't have to wait long and they were both really yummy.

Wow the best Chinese/Korean food ever tasted..We ate last night and I got offered a nice meal out tonight as it’s my (birthday) but chose a takeaway here instead again .. same excellent food Portions are excellent , service quick, friendly staff, the beef renang curry and Korean chicken, absolutely beautiful ..Priced at around £5.50 to £6.50 per head .. no wonder all the students use it .. you must try..

Best takeaway in Aberystwyth hands down !!!

The food here was good - we had two very different dishes, and both were great. The only drawback is that the place is cash only, which seems unnecessary given the large footfall and central location.

Came across Fusion King by chance, desperately seeking food rather late in the evening. What a find!!! We both agree that this is the best Asian takeaway we've ever had. Both had Ho Fun - prawn, and beef. Great ingredients, awesome flavours, tasted really fresh. Ice cream fritter is worth trying too! Sat on the beach and vicariously enjoyed some students' fire while we ate. Magic. Thank you Fusion King for making our evening awesome X

Delicious food. Simple restaurant environment

Fusion King, on Eastgate Street in Aberystwyth on the west Coast of Wales is a cafe/restaurant selling a range of freshly prepared Asian and American food and drinks. At present they only accept cash payments but the menu features a very good range of dishes from these countries with the Asian dishes complementing a more Western diet. The service is friendly and efficient in a unique East meets West atmosphere.

The box meals are great you have a choice of two meats and either rice or chips or both in a box. I love their quesiladas and the burgers are also very tasty. The one sure thing is it is cooked fresh every time.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime and ordered the Vegetable udon. Very nice and great value, spent about £5. All the tables were set up for four people or more, so I felt a bit uncomfortable as a solo eater as it began to fill up once I had sat down, and there weren't many free tables. Friendly service though and i'd definitely return, it was a bit of a life-saver on the day because it provided somewhere to eat out of the heavy rain! One thing I would recommend is bringing your own cutlery, they only provide plastic disposable forks.

It's not an authentic Asian restaurant but great ti have a quick bite when extremely hungry and you run out of options. Looks like a good bit with students as the menu is a fusion of diff flavours.The food was ok but not so great in taste. A bit oily but included fresh vegetables. The lady at the counter appeared giving cold responses however it may be due to cultural differences .Prefer only as a last option

What an amazing place to eat. It doesn't matter if you want a burger or a wrap, some pad Thai or a fragrant rendeng this place serves a variety of different dishes to an impeccable standard. The combination of a good portion size, at a decent price, with great, quality food has earned fusion king most popular takeaway restaurant in aber. Other restaurants should take note because you'll never find this place empty (with the exception of Tuesday) From the moment it opens it's doors till it closes at night. You simply can't beat it, the fries are a perfect mix of crispy, soft and salty. The rice is so good I could eat it alone. The beef rendeng is is what I live for Honestly go and try it, you won't be dissatisfied.

Had a very nice lunch here, a mixture of eastern cuisines. Very similar to Wagamama kind of menu, but nicer in my opinion. Minimalistic decor, but very clean with friendly staff.

I came here on the recommendation of some friends as they said it was fantastic! But for me it was ok food was not all that and the service was ok?! I won’t be back unfortunately

Never been before, was quite nice food, although it's a restaurant plus take-away it's a small building to eat in and with tables and chairs right next to the entrance people have to squeeze past people sitting down just to get in and move around and it isnt really pushchair/wheelchair friendly as there isnt enough space, that's the only downside other than that good friendly service and good food. :-)
