ordered keshk-e-bademjan which was yummy. the chelo kebab was good and bamieh was alright, but wouldn’t order it again. would revisit for the kebab and keshk-e-bademjan.

Wonderful service and delicious food. The hummus starter is delicious, and the flatbread comes from the kitchen still hot. The baba ganoush has a good strong flavour. I’d recommend the Absolute as a main for two people; a range of meats with rice, salad and flatbread. The baklava is to die for! I’ve been here three times and I keep coming back for more. Sadly, the restaurant could do with a bit of love - the lock on the bathroom door is broken and there were no towels to dry your hands. They currently have a 3 food rating which shows room for improvement.

Had a great time here a couple weeks ago - it was a quiet evening and we had the whole place to ourselves. The service was great - we even got complimentary lentil curry and tea. We got the mixed grill - the meats were very tasty. Overall would definitely come back when we are in the area next!

Absolutely fantastic place . Food is amazing , decoration of the place is very tasteful and not too much . Waiters were very friendly, helpful and nice . Staff were very friendly and gave us complimentary tea and salad. It was quiet, nice for a date night. :) The food was delicious! Nice to try something different, as we'd never tried Lebanese food before. For starters we had the Beiruti (humus, tabbouleh and felafel) and the Lebanese Mezzo (humus fattoush, felafel, and dolmeh-vine leaves) - by itself that would have been plenty! But we had also ordered mains of Koubideh (Kofteh) with chips (best chips ever!) and the Khoreshte-e-bademjan (tomato based stew with fried aubergines) with royal basmati rice - delicious! We were also tempted by the dessert menu and ended up having baklawa (so good!) and a special Persian dessert with ice cream (can't remember the name of it!). We couldn't manage all the food but the staff kindly packaged it up for us to take home. I almost forgot, I also had a glass of Dough (yoghurt drink with Persian herbs). And the complimentary tea was very nice too. All in all a very pleasant evening! :)

We visited Shiraz restaurant after a long five hour drive hoping to get some delicious home cooked food - and that it was! Amazing customer service, lovely food and atmosphere.

My goodness! I had a week-long craving for ghormeh sabzi (meat and herbs stew) which only ended when I dined here. What an experience! The food plus experience is just heavenly. Danial, the owner, is such a kind and hospitable man. Are so much my stomach hurt and wasn’t able to walk back to my accommodation properly 🫢 Can’t wait to visit this place again.

This is our second time. We discovered here last year and now we are in Swansea again. This is the best restaurant we have been in Swansea. The food is a lot more than what we can eat and it is delicious. The staff is kind and welcoming. Atmosphere feels very calm and enjoyable. We will come back again when we come to Swansea next time.

I came from Cardiff University to Swansea for a conference and looked for authentic Persian food due to its rejuvenating and tasty style. I found Shiraz Restaurant as a hidden gem in this beautiful Welsh town. Forget about other food hubs. Highly recommended and commended👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Good food, good service, good customer service

Went for food here for the first time and was so good. Service was amazing and food was great. Very generous portions, great flavour and good price. We ordered the mixed grill for 2 and I would highly recommend this. Will definitely be returning.

I had a fabulous meal with really friendly service. A salad, a stew with rice, followed by baklavas with Turkish coffee (all helped along by sone very acceptable house wine). I’m an infrequent visitor to Swansea but this restaurant would certainly become a favourite if I lived locally. Five stars!

We came to Shiraz in Swanea to have some halal Persian food. The food was delicious! The serving sizes are generous. Menu has a wide array of options. The staff were very attentive and service was very good! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a meal of Persian or Eastern cuisine or just a great meal with friends and family with flavourful dishes and great cuisine.

Really fresh and tasty food with excellent sized portions. The flatbread was freshly baked and was perfect. We had the Lebanese meze and olives to start. I had the sultani chicken and my husband had the grilled lamb. Mine was great and he said his was perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will return. Just gutted I didn't have room for the baklava!

The food was fab, although a little more detail on how menu items are made wouldn't go amiss, but the service was not comparable. Plates were cleared away whilst some guests were still eating. The jug of water was taken away before we finished our meal. I really hoped the wait staff's hands were clean when she handed out cutlery by the wrong end. The music, in my opinion, was incongruous with the theme of the restaurant. I applaud the manager/owner though. He was very enthusiastic. It can't be easy keeping your head above water when we were the only (4) patrons there all evening. They did quite a lot of deliveries, though.

We love this place. I often order a takeaway from here and it’s fantastic. Never disappoints. When the kids are away we will go and have dinner, fantastic choices.

'The tastiest and healthiest restaurant in Swansea', my family voted for Shiraz. If you are looking for tasty and healthy food that is good in value and varied, this is the place to go. We are regular customers now and we celebrated my mother's 80th today. We were bowled over by the brilliant mix of starter mezes and the main that were incredibly generous in portion and the food really healthy and tasty. The cooking of 'Ghormeh Sabzi' and 'Zereshk polo with Joojeh' is an art here and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the service so really enjoyable. A very nice place to dine and lunch. Good value too. Great value! Thank you Shiraz!

So where to eat on a Monday evening. A challenge because restaurants tend to close on Mondays. And we wanted somewhere reasonably close to the City Centre. Well I had found Shiraz through Trip Advisor and was struck by the fact that it was less expensive than the nearest Turkish restaurant. Well it turned out to be a bit of a trek along Walter Road. Google Maps kept on showing it as being just a bit further. The decor is really nice and rather folkloric less modernistic and minimalist than our Persian restaurant back in Worthing. The music was nice and we imagined Persian. A nice touch. We decided to skip the very reasonably priced starters which was actually just as well as the mains portions were huge. We knew what were ordering from our Worthing one but actually they have a larger menu in Shiraz. The main difference was Shiraz charge a lot less. Wonderful value The lamb 'stew' ( it isn't - it's a traditional Persian dish) is we had been told traditionally quite oily but this one wasn't. My wife's chicken version was excellent. A neighbouring table had Shiraz's baklava and it looked so good but we were really full. Curiously we were asked if it was possible to pay in cash, although they were quite happy to take a card. I say curiously because in our home town, more and more restaurants have become cashless since Covid. This was also mentioned i a other restaurant we went to. Anyway, lovely meal and we will certainly come back on our next visit

Off the cuff visit to sample some different cuisine and we were nit disappointed. This Persian Lebanese restaurant is a real find. Excellent and varied menu. Small but very clean restaurant and a warm welcome. The food was excellent and beautifully cooked. We will definitely return.

The food is good but I would pass on dessert which are limited and very poor quality. Do not order the ice cream for sure. Also not taking credit card is an absolute burden and unprofessional. I would not go back because I am not in the habit of carrying a load of cash with me.

The dishes we had were tasty, no doubt about it. However, the service was very disappointing. It took about 40 mins to get a glass of wine and my friend's tea was forgotten. One dish was also missed, we had to ask for it. It also would've been helpful if we were informed, before ordering, that only cash was accepted. This experience completely overlapped the deliciousness of the food.

Good Persian food, not particularly Lebanese as suggested on the google link but nice all the same. Card was not accepted with cash only, needs a sign on the door to inform people. Dessert menu is limited, however, will happily visit again.

From making the order to getting the food it took more than 2 hours, although we were told it would be no more than 35 minutes. Called the restaurant after about an hour has passed and someone was really rude, no apologetic at all and said it would be additional 20 minutes. Well it was obviously more than that. The food was cold and not good at all.

We Go to Shiraz for takeaways regularly and have never been disappointed. Delicious Persian food which is a refreshing change from the usual takeaway offerings and these guys do it properly! Prices are just right for the standard and quality of food you receive so I wouldn't say it was expensive not cheap..you get what you pay for :) . Always pretty fast delivery and food always piping hot, friendly delivery drivers. Never had any issues any of the times we have ordered. Will continue to come back. Don't change a thing! 😉

Normally when I visit a Turkish/Lebanese/Persian restaurant we always get complimentary bread, homemade sauces and sometimes starters. This place didn’t give us nothing. The service was very poor , they don’t take card had to bank transfer. And they put this on their menu as a platter for 2 people. A platter for 2 people normally has a lot more than this! It’s strange that this plate was priced £28 and had no extra sides at all just some dry rice and some tasteless HALF bread ( not even One but half). The meat seemed premade and it looked like they just heated it up 5 mins ago as it was cold lol.

Good quality authentic Persian cuisine, we enjoyed dinner here and lovely tea in a classic tea pot. Only thing was the service was a bit slow as there was only one waiter but other than that very good and would most definitely recommend!

Lovely halal food and lovely service. We didn't have a reservation but were still welcomed. Their best food was the mixed grill. We ordered snacks and not proper food - grill, bread, hummus, salad, lentil soup and sparking water for £40 for 5 people The only downside was that we had to chase an ATM because their card machine was not working.

Takeaway wasn’t as good as previous occasions, service was poor. Took over 1hr 30 from ordering. When my husband rang they advised that they couldn’t find a driver! When food arrived it was mediocre. Shame as previously they were good.
