Lovely hidden away but very popular Garden Centre, Cafe and Holiday Lodges in the heart of East Gower - nearest to Killay, Kittle, Pennard, Three Crosses and Bishopston. Turn down the Lane in the dip off Fairwood Common, just below the Airport entrance (on the opposite side of the road).

We visit the wildflower twice a week as it’s a lovely place with lovely food and coffee my daughter wanted to have afternoon tea for her hen party there and they didn’t disappoint. It’s the best afternoon tea I’ve experienced beautifully fresh food fantastic friendly service as usual. We had the best day thanks to Tim and his team.

Always a pleasure visiting here. My friends and I frequent this cafe before heading off to the flight club, and our experience always leaves a smile on our faces. Recently we took one of the flight club boys new puppy out for lunch with us (aptly named goose) and the amount of lovely people who came to say hello (workers included) was heartwarming! We were also pleasantly surprised that they offered dog-friendly ice cream which was the cherry on top of our gorgeous trip. As always, food and drinks were 10/10 and can’t recommend this lovely place enough.

We had to wait a short while for a table to become available. Good selection of teas, coffees and cakes. We found it quite loud because of the chatter at all the tables and the room being quite echoey. It was also very warm until the door was propped open (I don't know why the windows weren't opened).

Great place but parking is terrible there are no parking marking on car park. Hence, about 5 to 6 parking places are wasted due to poor parking. People then park on road verge creating a safe risk and possibly damaging car.

Lovely place but paying £7.50 for a roast beef sandwich (with crisps and small side salad) I expected a nice thick cut slice of beef, not one slice of wafer thin beef. Even two slices of the wafer thin beef would have been ok. Most disappointing.

A few tables free, but many with dirty dishes on which I noticed were sat there for the duration of our visit. The woman at the counter did not speak a word, I did wonder if she was mute...but nope, just rude. The man making the drinks was fab and helpful. We'd stood waiting for the drinks and he informed us that they would bring them to table.....something which the female server could've said....if she bothered to speak to us. Quite pricey, just short of £8 for 2 drinks. The cakes looked lovely as did the small menu. However, this was our 1st visit there and its a shame that we didn't have a good 1st impression.

I had booked the wildflower cafe for my sister’s baby shower. Words can’t explain how perfect it was. From booking it over the phone, to sitting down and enjoying the afternoon tea, the service has been incredible. Tim and the team went above and beyond what they needed to do and made the day run smoothly. The food was amazing and the team had catered for everyone’s dietary requirements. The staff were so friendly and helpful, any request I made, they bent over backwards to ensure it was done. I cannot recommend the wildflower enough! Visited this lovely café yesterday but oh my goodness it was so busy that the noise of everyone talking was unbearable. How the poor staff aren't deaf. The ceiling to the café isn't helping infact I think it amplifies the noise. In the end we moved outside to a covered table as it started to rain, much nicer, but that decking is really slippy after a downpour. I slipped sideways but managed to grab a chair. I suggest you spray the decking with a non slip paint because if I slipped what if the customer was more elderly. I have to say staff were lovely.

My visit here was so unexpectedly more than I’d imagine it to be.. from the bizarre thriving plants, trees, cabins with hot tubs. I only went for food😊 and I was not disappointed however I’m now fed up of trying to recreate the open sour dough sandwich which was FRESH herbs the way it was constructed .. the taste.. that’s without the coffee ( I’m a coffee snob) it was still boiling after I’d eaten my food and strong but milky… highly recommend to all..

We visited today lunch time with torrential rain falling down. The main car park was full and we had difficulty parking on the road outside. Making our way to the cafe we saw that the side gate by the cattle grid was locked so we were forced to walk across the grid in our heels and with the heavy rain which wasn't at all safe for elderly people or small children. The cafe was surprisingly full (despite appalling weather). Staff were helpful, friendly and there was a nice atmosphere there. It looked lovely and clean. We all has jacket potatoes with side salads and were happy with the meals and portion size. Due to the weather, we didn't look at the plants for sale but there seemed plenty to chose from.

The cafe is very good and the plants seem healthy. However it is not a specialist in wildflowers any more - you will find similar plants here to many other mainstream garden centres. There is now accommodation where the wild lake area was, so the place has changed its focus quite a lot from last time we visited a few years ago. Wildflower is now just the brand name of the complex rather than a description of what the place is about.

We eat here pretty often - love the ambience and the food is Out Of This World. I have spoken with the hairy chef with glasses a few times and he is such a nice guy really cannot do enough for you and he cooks the best food in the country. I was speaking to a friend the other day who says he used to sail around Africa and was involved in several skirmishes with Somali pirates. I can certainly believe it - he looks like he’s had a tough life on the waves but he sure knows his seafood.

Not often do I leave a review, but we had such a positive experience with Food by Sean No600! We had booked an afternoon tea for a small baby shower for a friend, but due to unforeseen circumstances at the last minute our friend wasn’t able to make it. We asked if it were possible for us to pick up the food in order to take it to our friend, and they were more than happy to make it possible. The staff went above and beyond - the food was neatly packed, they had provided instructions on temperatures and times needed to warm up the food, and the food was delicious! As a result, we were still able to host the baby shower for our friend in the comforts of her home - we cannot thank the staff enough! We also loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant when we called to pick up the food - the interior was so lovely! We’re definitely keen to call back to dine at the restaurant. Thank you again!

My friend had cockles served with too much black pepper. She couldn't eat them. I tasted - they were very 'hot'. I gently told the owner, and she immediately snapped back - "no, they are not peppery, not served with pepper." No apology, just a very rude scowl. She walked off. Couldn't believe it. So unnecessary. 2 of our group couldn't attend, so in a friendly manner, I asked if we could have their deposit back. The scowl and rudeness continued. I've never experienced such an attitude. The deposit was finally handed over, and with a sour face, the owner looked at me and said, "Make sure they get it". The owner really didn't want her customers to return. We won't. I suggest a course on customer relations
