Every time myself, friends and family order from here, we are very satisfied with our service and food ordered. The owner is very approachable and helpful, and there is a high standard of customer service. The shop itself is very clean and everything is prepared fresh. Thanks guys, keep up the great work! Will definitely continue to order from here ☺️

Down to earth place. And go understanding that.

Nice place if the sun is shining you can sit outside. Inside lacks a bit of atmosphere - needs some art on the walls/more soft furnishings. Coffee ok but not very hot. Scones very poor. Quantity rather than quality. Very big but heavy and not tasty or pleasant to eat. Shame as scones are not difficult to make. Try smaller and better baked. Get a decent recipe. Nice friendly staff.

I use this cafe in tesco everytime I visit Oban. They do a great breakfast and good coffee. What makes this a good place is the staff, alwsys friendly and quick to serve even when busy.

Rude staff and terrible beer. I'd be surprised if the taps have been cleaned in the last decade. The bar made who seems to be in charge obviously has a chip on her shoulder.

We stumbled into here by accident. We are from Philly, USA, and were curious by its name. We had wanted to try fried haggis and a fried Mars bar before we left Scotland, so we figured why not here. The man working was so hospitable and wonderful to us. They didn't sell fried Mars bars, so he told us to run across the street to the supermarket to grab one and he'd fry it for us. While we waited for our food, he gave our toddler chips to eat and chatted about his family. The fried haggis and Mars bar we're still raving about. We really enjoyed our spur of the moment stop here.

I ordered a Munchy Box with chicken and vegetable pakoras, received a call saying that they had no vegetable pakoras, (slightly worrying). I eventually asked what they might substitute, to which I was told chicken pakoras, which I was happy with. My delivery arrived with 4 chicken pakoras, (no additional pakoras). I phoned and asked about this, to which I was told they added more donner meat!! Very poor customer service, and obviously this establishment has not been added to my possible list of go to takeaways.

Go to Wetherspoon's instead... Popped in here for lunch, but really wish we had gone elsewhere. We had a chicken burger, and a pulled pork and BBQ beef burger, and both of them weren't great. The chicken burger tasted cheap and heavily processed, and the beef burger was the same. It was also pretty dry and tough, and was missing the BBQ sauce. Both of us actually left a good chunk of our burgers and just ate the chips instead. We spent £56 pound, and the bill came with a service charge included, which felt like a bit of a slap in the face considering the food was bad and the service was non-existent apart from "here's your table, here's your food, here's your bill". I'd honestly recommend going to Wetherspoon's instead of this place if you want food. The food is about the same quality, but half the price. And the service was actually better in Wetherspoon's as well!

This is our go to bar. Staff are very welcoming with a good manager. Nice seating outside. The bar food is also decent. They have recently put in much needed new seating, however this will soon need to be replaced if they allow the young team, who think it’s ok, to have their we pooches sitting beside them on the new seating.

Saturday 2nd of November, they decided to shut the restaurant, no head up or anything. Just no meals, only refreshments. Fast forward two weeks. After a 4 hour drive on the Friday, I arrived at 7.05pm. Reception said restaurant were serving until 8.30 and I was OK just to pop over and get a table. So I done that. No tables for the rest of the night. Only the tables near the bar were being used. Rest of the place was empty. Saturday seemed to go without a hitch. Sunday morning, apparently the chef pulled a sickie so there was no hot food other than what you could put through the toaster! The big lad that's in the restaurant is brand new as are some of the other FOH staff but this place need to sort the BOH staff out pronto. Also just a little tip for the servers, from someone who was in hospitality for 18 years, when someone walks in the door and stands waiting to be attended to, give them an acknowledgement. Don't just leave them standing like a spare tw4t.
