After two trips to collect an order, as they did not accept card payments and didn’t think to say this when order was phoned in , the food was undercooked and soggy, have been before and food was ok but this was barely edible

In town for the Scottish Cup game between The Blue Brazil and Broxburn. Pre game meal at this fantastic restaurant. Large filling fish tea and a sausage supper at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff. Will make a return trip if I get back to Cowdenbeath.

What a fantastic place to eat out in Cowdenbeath. The place is warm and friendly with amazing staff. The fish and chips were of the correct size for my wife, brother and I as we are small eaters. It was busy because of the stock car racing but the ever friendly staff manage to help us out. Thank al the staff for making this a fantastic experience.

Great service and good selection of various types of fast foods available. Very busy when I visited with grandchildren. Table service available with really helpful waitress (Caroline?) . All in all an excellent pit stop prior to stock car meet we were attending.

We go there regularly for a traditional fish tea. For a sit in chippy it is very clean and has a great selection of chippy items and also kebabs, pizzas etc. All food is freshly cooked and is at extremely reasonably priced. Fish, chips, peas or beans, pot of tea and bread and butter for £6-50.

Wrong meal was delivered, phoned back to tell them, was told it was my fault and thats what i asked for. Considering the meal that was delivered would turn my stomach so why would i ask for that? I Was told in a passive aggresive manner that 'if i wanted it changed i would have to pay for it' the employee clearly has no customer service skills what so ever and should not be working with members of the public. So rude!

Not long moved to Cowdenbeath, so we have been trying the local takeaway with mixed success. However I would say that Darios is the best chippy in town. Prices and Portion sizes are good and there is a small sit in area. Only tried the suppers, not tried the the other Turkish menu (kebabs etc.) and would recommend the place if you are in town.

Great fish and chips. But up here 'and chips' is ' supper'. Hence fish supper. You can eat in or out. Superb!

Went for a dinner with a friend, we had soup of the day and mushroom pâté as starters and then flat iron steak and fish & chips as our mains, no desserts. We both enjoyed our food very much, service was good too. Would recommend.

Went for breakfast, all the order was wrong - asked why and was told they had run out of stock, the irony when it is literally based in a supermarket. Food was cold, took 45 minutes to bring out, ALL empty tables were cluttered and messy, felt for the poor staff who were run off their feet. They really should consider closing it down if they can't staff it appropriately.

So I am the owner Fisher And Donaldson my name is Rory milne and I would say people are rating at one star review and I do not agree with that so it is probably one of the best old Scottish bakeries. I would recommend a Scottish pie personally my fudged on it is probably my favourite treat.

Popped in for a coffee. It's a small ish cafe and there were 3 staff members, 2 behind the counter and another out front. There was only another 2 customers in the place but I wasn't acknowledged at all, even after wandering about, unsure where to sit. The coffee was very disappointing unfortunately. It tasted like sickly hot milk, even after an extra shot, and was very unpleasant. Considering it costs the same as the big named cafes, it's something that needs to be looked at. Yuck. On the plus side, the cakes looked great, just stick to tea.
