After two trips to collect an order, as they did not accept card payments and didn’t think to say this when order was phoned in , the food was undercooked and soggy, have been before and food was ok but this was barely edible

In town for the Scottish Cup game between The Blue Brazil and Broxburn. Pre game meal at this fantastic restaurant. Large filling fish tea and a sausage supper at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff. Will make a return trip if I get back to Cowdenbeath.

What a fantastic place to eat out in Cowdenbeath. The place is warm and friendly with amazing staff. The fish and chips were of the correct size for my wife, brother and I as we are small eaters. It was busy because of the stock car racing but the ever friendly staff manage to help us out. Thank al the staff for making this a fantastic experience.

Great service and good selection of various types of fast foods available. Very busy when I visited with grandchildren. Table service available with really helpful waitress (Caroline?) . All in all an excellent pit stop prior to stock car meet we were attending.

We go there regularly for a traditional fish tea. For a sit in chippy it is very clean and has a great selection of chippy items and also kebabs, pizzas etc. All food is freshly cooked and is at extremely reasonably priced. Fish, chips, peas or beans, pot of tea and bread and butter for £6-50.

Wrong meal was delivered, phoned back to tell them, was told it was my fault and thats what i asked for. Considering the meal that was delivered would turn my stomach so why would i ask for that? I Was told in a passive aggresive manner that 'if i wanted it changed i would have to pay for it' the employee clearly has no customer service skills what so ever and should not be working with members of the public. So rude!

Not long moved to Cowdenbeath, so we have been trying the local takeaway with mixed success. However I would say that Darios is the best chippy in town. Prices and Portion sizes are good and there is a small sit in area. Only tried the suppers, not tried the the other Turkish menu (kebabs etc.) and would recommend the place if you are in town.

Great fish and chips. But up here 'and chips' is ' supper'. Hence fish supper. You can eat in or out. Superb!

If you want your food on a Saturday night please place your order on the Wednesday before. Slower than a week in jail .

We booked at 1130 for four of us to come in and have a meal. We arrived a couple minutes early (no more than ten minutes) and after waiting for at least five minutes for a member of staff to great us, we were then subjected to a very rude interaction. He asked what we were here for, so we let him know if was a booking for four people under my name. He then said "for...?" in quite a sarcastic way, so i repeated myself. He then said "for breakfast, for lunch, for drinks?", sounding extremely exasperated like our custom was a real bother and inconvenience. What is clarified it was lunch, we told us that they were cleaning up from breakfast and that they weren't serving lunch til 12. I queried why the system let us book this online when it wasn't an option and he just told us he was sorry but it was what it was. My complaint is not at all that we couldn't eat til 12, I understand a place like this takes time to transition between meals. It was the way we were spoken to. I was there with my wife and in-laws and it was embarrassing to be spoken to like I was a child acting out in class. Others were in the bar enjoying a beer. If he'd politely explained the situation and said that we couldn't be seated for a meal for a half hour, but that we were welcome to sit and have a drink and browse the menu then it would have been a lovely experience. But instead we left angry and disappointed and likely won't return.
